Yes please!! Love ur videos :)
healtheworld12 thanks :)
Rodriguez Pits Thanks :)
I'm 18 and Azula is my favorite villain of all time :D
mine, too
i like her i wish she would become good
Same, She's my favorite character from Avatar
if her mom treated her like zuko she would become a good lady
She became bad because her father guided her
Smitha M S she became good and helped zuko find their mom but it said she disappeared after
I will be extremely disappointed if Azula's story is never resolved or she ends up being pathetic. She deserves more than that in my opinion. Part of me hopes that Azula got a new face/identity from the spirit, erased her memory, and ended up being Bolin and Mako's mom or something. Anything but just leaving her fate unresolved or lame.
V Ingram too bad it never was 😔
kinda lame ending she just was a kemuri kage
im low-key obsessed and in love with azula...
Zane Jeffery I'm the same way but with toph
Zane Jeffery me too dude. Me too. I'm even gonna draw some Fan art of her....Azula😍😘💕💚💚
Zane Jeffery you are in love with an animation character, you really have no life.
go into the anime section, haha then there will be a lot of people without life
Shrek wow your cheating on Fiona, Snake
I really wish they would bring back Azula and make her a big part of season 4. I always wanted her to turn into a "Good guy" like Zuko did. And we saw that she had the potential a couple times. She was just a confused person who thought that trust was over-rated and could only rely on fear. I hope they don't leave her as she was in The Search. Team Avatar was talking about how they think she would return one day, and I hope it is true. If she doesn't become a major character in season 4, then I at least hope they shine some light on what finally happened to her, hopefully something good.
Uh, well there was 2 or 3 comics with her after the last airbender where she realized her destiny wasnt on the thrown, but her destiny was to groom zuko into a tough firelord such as she was going to be. Although we dont see much after that.
Toph got around pretty well. I wonder who set her up on those blind dates.
I get the feeling she could see what she was dealing with before anyone else, if you know what I mean
She really couldn’t see those divorces coming
I don't really mind if most of the original team avatar is dead, seeing them in the flash backs all grown up is more than enough for me.
the new characters look really good though, that feisty looking air bending kid looks really awesome, and I hope combustion girl will be allot like Azula, cause I really miss that psychotic princess, I hope they would also show Azula in the flash backs.
Think that Combustion Girl is actually voiced by Grey!
Is it just me or does Kai look like a miniature of Sokka?
***** My brother and I said the same thing! Haha! Also, nice avatar picture! SAO II is coming the 5th!
It is bullshit that they miss out Azula. They showed the crazy man on the island that Zuko's family used to go to but ignore his sister.
Do never stop doing Korra videos! They are so interesting and they really help understanding all of the changes in the show!
thanks!
IKR he's the best 😢
אוקיי אני יודעת שהתגובה שלך מלפני חצי שנה אבל אומייגאד עוד ישראלית שרואה קורה ♡
ayeletdrago speak English bitch
Haha, how am I a bitch for speaking another language? 😂 purplepizzaman garcia
Bend blue fire.....Only Azula could do that. It made her extra special.
***** Just to clarify, Korra can still use the avatar state. After re-fusing with Raava, you see her eyes glow briefly before she says 'its over' Furthermore, the book 3 dutch trailer that came out a few months ago showed her in the AS, using the 'spirit purification technique', presumably to calm spirits in RC
I hope that she is able to reconnect to her past lives by the time this series is over. If she has to start all over again, then the next line of Avatar's will have no clue of knowing their culture and heritage, especially since the Avatar world is now in the 1920's style of civilization. Just another 60 plus years, and they will be near to how our world is. It would be unfortunate if the history were to be cut off, especially all that knowledge.
@@BacontatsStrange how it is the 1920s type era when Kuvira was similar to Hitler as she had good intentions but started invading. Similar to Hitler's plan for Europe and Germany-Austria reunification.
damm bring azula back!! i loved her..
Yes, DEFINETLEY do more Q&A's!
The Joker 10259 :)
***** MOREEE
No dis iz boring
This is actually the first time in my youtube life that any question i had was answered in any video, so I'm happy about that :)
I still think there's some connection between that girl that Azula. They both seem quite similar and in the trailers, they focus a lot on her face almost like she's supposed to remind us of someone, so we'll see. I'm still hopeful though.
Zuko can bend blue fire. Excuuuuse me, I thought that was Azula's thing.
writethatrainbow lore it just means the fire is hotter
The two minor issue I have with korra is the episode count. I feel with last airbender we got so much more episodes and a ton of character development, with korra we get lots of new characters and a few loose strings because of the episode count, another is that with airbender we saw Aang get into avatars state and connect with Roku all the time, with korra we are deprived of Aang. Idk first world problems .
Avatar*
"My brother and most of my friends are gone" -Katara in Book 1
I took that to mean that Sokka is definitely dead. There isn't really a lot of ambiguity there, especially considering the context of that scene.
As far as Azula goes, I still think she was the Fire Shaman from Book 2. It's a long shot, but 'The Search' alluded to her having an important destiny of helping the Avatar in some way.
It's a cool possibility of having a reformed Azula instead of having her be a broken mess for her entire life.
THE LEGEND OF KORRA: BOOK THREE
COMING THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 27
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!! :)
#333
Korra does go into the avatar state, she still has Ravaa inside her, and in episode 1 (I think) her eyes glow when she tries to make the vines go away, what she lost is the connections to the past avatars
*****
BryanBloodrayne666 that means her avatar state is weaker
Kaneki Ken are you talking about the plant part and how she couldn’t make them go away cause I have a theory for that
Bending blue fire is not a special ability. Azula was so aggressive, it's own heat intensified, making it blue.
she wasnt aggresive at all ? dont you remember zuko was the aggresive one
zalon115 Did you watch the show? You really think that Azula was nice and gentle?
she was smart which made her a killer, she faught calmly watch all her fight scenes, she kept a sharp mind
think dude
zalon115 You never watched the Final Agni Kai, then. Get out, watch the show, then get back in.
I'm pretty sure that Katara said her brother and her husband were "gone". I could be wrong. I sure hope Sokka is alive and well in Korra.
Yep, she definitely said that. Charlie just made a small blunder.
Katara actually did mention Sokka in book 1 when she told Korra "My brother and many of my friends are gone."
Ivan Krolo yeah in the comics before the legend of korra and after the last airbender zuko released her to find his mother
She actually CAN enter the Avatar state. She entered it when she was attempting to get rid of the vines.
But entering the avatar state basically would'nt do anything....because the power of the avatar state comes from all the past avatars channeling their power at once.
MultiredRB It also comes the spiritual power given to the avatar by Raava.
Iythee We're 7 episodes in… haha, although I can't help you with when to watch it, since I don't live in the US
Iythee ttp://www.tubeplus.mechi/player/1667616/The_Legend_of_Korra/
(Remove the word "Chi" in the link)
Iythee Np
I swear in book 1 katara said "my brother and many of my friends are gone" ???
Many not all
MegaBlackk1d he is speaking for "my brother"
but sokka is dead indeed...suki may be alive still
HappyDanceBananza and he...sokka... had no kids? maaan :(
Katja
Wait, what gave you that conclusion? Just because he's likely dead right now doesn't mean he never had kids. And they are my favorite couple in this universe btw :p
2. I dont think the past avatars are cut off, but just locked out of her reach so she has to remaster the avatar state to unlock it again
Also, absolutely keep doing Korra videos! These (as well as most of your other vids) are VERY helpful in understanding the plot when it's confusing! I love coming to find these videos after watching Korra or Doctor Who, and they usually end up answering any plot questions I may have had! Well done!
Katara said in the 1st episode of season 1 and quote: "Aang's time has passed, my brother and many of my friends are gone. It's time for you and your generation to keep peace and balance in the world" so we DO have it confirmed that Sokka has died
Yes post more of these, they're super fun! You honestly deserve more subscribers! You're really in depth and give a lot of information, but you add humor to it which makes it even better!
For the Airbending sub-skill my guess is it has to do with taking the air from someone's lungs, or something similar. One of the four major villains in Book 3 is an Airbender, something as lethal as that would suit his character.
it sounds bending
that's just airbending
maybe the evil airbender we saw in episode 1 will do that. (I forgot his name)
Zaheer.
anng and zaheer already did that tho
That part where you said "Aang turned a non-bender into an airbender" I've had visions of that happening in untold parts of the story! It stemmed off the end of book 1, where Aang came out of nowhere, and placed his fingers on Korra's head and chest, then entered the Avatar state, and suddenly, Korra could bend again, and she then passed that down onto people that had their bending blocked by that water bending villain. I've visioned the Avatar using that power to grant bending to non-benders, as we've seen Aang take firebending away from Fire Lord Ozai in the Last Airbender, and give bending back to Avatar Korra. Makes me wonder if since the Avatar has the ability to take away and give bending, if they could do that to non-benders, or if it's only for people who were born with a bending ability.
cool!
Thx!
Was hoping to see Azula though...
That "combustion woman" looks a lot like her. I bet they are related.
Technically, Airbending does have a sub-bending. I mean, remember when Meelo created Fart-Bending? xD
Meelo, the greatest Air-Bender to ever live.
Korra's final test should be thwarting whatever plans Azula concocted in the last 7 decades.
Yes please keep doing these Korra Q&As.! I just discovered them and they're amazing!
I don't know if you'll answer this or not, but I was wondering how do you classify sub bending styles? In other words, what is sub-bending and what is simply advance bending technique?? I'm curious because LoK has done a great job of further illuminating the sub bending practices discovered in ATLA.Metal bending, water healing, lightning bending, and blood bending, for instance, are all strongly represented in the Korra universe. But other thing that I though were sub-bending have been absent thus far, like sand bending and plant bending, both of which I hoped would be explored more in LoK. It looks like season 3 will give us some more insight into sand bending and combustion style fire bending, but I can't figure out if these things qualify as sub-bending or not! Also, I'm really curious if we'll ever learn more about swamp style water bending/plant bending!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Keep up the good work
I don't think there _is_ a sub-element to Air. Earth has Metal, Fire has Lightning and Water has Blood, but there doesn't seem to be one for Air for three reasons: One, there just doesn't seem to be anything. Two, Airbending hasn't been around in the world for a while. Mainly the fifty-six years Aang was alive and then the seventeen years for Korra and Aang's offspring and their kids, although all that's about to change now in Season Three. Three, any sub-element anyone could probably try and list is either the same thing as Airbending or just sounds stupid. That's all from me.
I read in previous comments that the creators thought about sound bending. Or maybe taking the air from someone's lungs but that's still air bending technically. Just as blood is water.
True. What that is is different uses of Airbending, and I think Tenzin will be put through the wringer this season because of it. Think about it: New Airbenders, none of whom want to become Air Nomads are popping up over the world, one of whom is a dangerous criminal who'll use it to kill people. Those two things should put Tenzin through some sort of emotional and/or spiritual crisis.
Vacuumbending and infinite flying are the same thing as Airbending. They're different applications. There's a difference between an application of an element and a subdivision of it.
As for teleportation... sorry, but not really. That just seems too far-fetched to work in my opinion. Here's what I think regarding Air: To compensate for its lack of sub-elements, I think Air will have the most applications, meaning there's so much more a person can do with it than they could with Fire, Water or Earth. That's just me though.
I think that's just an ability the spirit had rather than anything related to Airbending.
Machaka Azure, you confused me with "bloodbending bends also only water on blood". Could you please elaborate on that? And my argument's actually pretty sound; flying and creating a vacuum would require one to bend the Air around them.
Here's why I'm saying there's no sub-element to Air. A sub-element is an alternate form of one of the four main elements (like how Water's subdivided into Blood and Earth is Metal) that is also distinct enough from that element (see examples) to warrant being called a sub-element. For example, Blood is subdivided from Water yet it's different from Water as blood retains certain qualities that water does not. Same thing with Metal and Earth.
Meanwhile, the only sub-element of Airbending I can think of, although it's probably not really an element, is Gasbending: Since air is composed of gases, I'm thinking any skilled Airbender could probably separate the different gases and bend one of them, maybe like bend nitrogen and use that. There you go, there's your fourth sub-element. I know it seems lame compared to Lightning, Metal and Blood, but it's the most logical thing I could think of.
I love how you talk so fast. Nice job! Keep it up. Subscribed.
Sokka is dead, katara said so in book 1
It seems that Avatar state mostly increases the power of bending(or manipulating energy i dunno)
But ye knowledge that every Avatar had can boost that power increase even more it seems(or give the ability to use bending or something that current Avatar didnt know)
Katara said "my brother and many of my friends are gone now" in the very first episode to korra
Ikr
michael goodner Please check out my new Avatar AMV 🤗❤️
Hi! I have a few "corrections" you might call them to your answers to the questions. 1) Azula's blue fire was a result of Avatar Roku's granddaughter, Zukos mom, having a child with the firelord. They said this in the comics "A child of the Avatar and Firelord will be a Firebending prodigy". You also need to remember that Zuko for some reason did not end up being the prodigy, also Azula is just cold hearted so that could by why its blue too (no emotion) 2) In the very first episode of book one Katara said to Korra: "Many of my past friends including my brother have now passed on." So no Sokka did not go nomad and run away, I don't even think thats in his character, he is definitely dead.
why dont they just do a season 4 of the last airbender?!?!? It was the best TV series ever in my opinion! it would make me #tearbend so much if they did.
Don't fix what isn't broken am I right?
#tearbending
Well it's too late the show's over we have this almost as great sequel show. They wanted to make the ATLA comics a sequel show, but nick wouldn't cooperate.
Well there are 6 (or are they 9 now?) very well written comics book after season 3 (I well I only read the first 3 (The Promise) but I definitely order the others someday.)
They did make it
Read the comics! There not as good as the TV show but if you want a season 4 that's all they got! They have The Promise Part, The Search, and The Rift, it would have been amazing if they made them into TV shows but I like what they're doing with Korra now! :D
Please do more korra q and a its fun. Lins dad though, that's a hard one. The only person toph was shown to have a crush on was sokka.
NinjaGirlSakura1 :)
Wasn't there some Zuko too?
TicTac MentheDouce
I wouldn't say so. That time she wanted to be paired with Zuko was because after he joined team avatar everyone else had some adventure with him.
No sokka ship cause that makes it that when tenzin dated Lin that would be kissing cousins. Toph had a crush on the Duke. Search " The Doph" on tumblr all the evidence you need.
Are you all forgetting Satoru?
Yes, please keep on making weekly Korra Q&A videos
That Rumor you heard about her not being able to enter the avatar state might be true but the reality is that the avatar state would be next to useless to her. The only reason The Avatar State was awesome was because the current avatar used the strength and memories of the passed avatars to make the bending strong enough to challenge spirits.
Her connections to the past avatars were broken by her uncle
yep, and that would make the avatar state less useful. However, she has been in the avatar state in book 3 already
think of the avatar state as her completely harmonizing with raava she may not b able to directly connect to the past avatars anymore but u have to realize raava was there all along and lived thru all the avatars lives they could easily have raava project her memories of past avatars actions to korra but past avatars used to b able to directly talk to korra giving their opinions on current matters
Sky bisons, for one, were officially, through the comics, found in isolation. That is story canon. Also, Zuko can't bend blue fire. Azula is the only confirmed person to bend blue fire. The leaders of the nations aren't mere Lords with United Republic influence over them. THEY RULE THEIR NATIONS.
gravity bending would be a cool sub for air. Creating a singularity would be insanely powerful.
Please do more Q&A's. This was very informative and helpful.
Maybe Sokka and Toph got together after all?
Unlikely since its hinted at that the relationship with both fathers turned bad quickly, Toph prevented them from meeting their daughters.
I really hope Sokka isn't Lin's father, because if that was true then that would mean that Lin and Tenzin are cousins and you know they dated. Lets hope thats not a plot hole they overlooked. So ya my bet is that the half sister is the one that would be most likely Sokka's, if they even ended up have a relationship at all and having a child.
I'd thought with Suki that'd be impossible
Take a look at the comics, Suki might actualy have married someone else.
Yeah please continue to do weekly Q&A's they help a lot.
What ever happened to Zuko's mother & did his father die in prison ?
Read The Search comic.
His father became a gang member in prison
When I first heard that there would be a sub-element bending style for airbenders, I thought it would be sound, seeing as air pressure can be used to create sound vibrations in certain situations, sometimes in ways that can be used as a weapon. I was kinda disappointed when it turned out to be spirit bending. I understand why the creators chose it, but I still think it would have been cooler to have it be sound. Oh well, still looking forward to book 3, so excited! ^.^
Where is Azula.
Since I speak spanish I thought I'd take a look at the leaked episodes. I'm not going to spoil anything but they will not disappoint. At times I even shed a few tears--in response to the emotion some of these episodes make you feel. They WILL NOT disappoint Korra fans. If anything I am more stoked to see the premiere of this fabulous show.
Toph had two baby daddies?! Oh lawwddd Toph..
Hey, she was blind. HOw could she have know? ;)
Inglorious Zachster well its not like she can use her superior sense of touch to feel a condom
Toph is a player.
That scene with Jinora looks like she's in Lake Laogai. The lake probably flooded that area where the Dai Li fought Team Avatar in season 2 right before Jet died. That probably why we also see Jinora getting attacked by a Dai Li agent in the trailer.
Why on earth does Nickelodeon give Korra such poor fan-service? Do they realize that Korra is the only show they have nowadays which isn't complete and utter shite? The creators of Avatar seem eager to keep creating Avatar related shows/comics/tv-movies, so why is Nick so hesitant to provide this?
1. Bison - i don't remember where i read it whether it was in the official avatar website or in an another review just like this one, that Tenzin finds a new herd of SkyBison (a thing that actually makes a lot of sense... isn't it? [i don't remember if it's been said in any point in the originally series that they were extinct?] )
2. Sokka - if i recall in the Book of air when Katara tell us about Yakon her story gives us a hint that Sokka is no longer alive
*btw 2 years ago when the Book of Air season screening just started. there were a lot of explanations in the Nick's official avatar website about the Legend of Korra series, about the characters from the original series and what happened with them and those stuff (unfortunately i can't find them anymore i think that some of them have been deleted), one of them was even talking about that Zuko is still alive and traveling the world, while his name was not even mentioned in the Book of air season and people was asking them selves what happened to him!
3. about Korra avatar state - as i know the writers this will be a problem for her until the very last episodes of this season
4. energy bending - although it sounds reasonable that Aang did " CREATED " air benders with energy bending, since if he can TAKE bending (Ozai) well maybe he can GIVE bending.
5. air sub-bending - i really hope that he didn't. and that the sub-bending of air is not projection since THIS IS NOT BENDING !!!!@!#$%#^@##$@#@$@#$!@
and it will suck.
WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK?
avatar both aang and korra are very successful and awesome series's wondering why didnt they make another sequel or more episodes.
Totally love the Q&A's, please do more!! Thanks
Are we eventually ganna see how aang died?
Well, he kinda just died from old age i believe. He was 160 after all ( People tend to forget the 100 years in the iceberg )
MultiredRB That's what I always assumed too, but after seeing the episodes we've gotten so far, I'm starting to think that maybe Zaheer and his group were actually involved somehow. I hope this is the case, it would be an awesome development!
***** How do u know?
***** That's actually a good theory, If the Red Lotus went after Korra as a kid... Whos to say that they didn't try to go after Aang first!
betrot2 MultiredRB I've been thinking the same thing. Especially ever since these red lotus members came into the picture. If you really think about it, Aang died way too young not to wonder. The 100 years in the iceberg doesn't count if u ask me because Aang was 112 years old when he got out of the iceberg but his body was still in the condition of being 12 years old. Korra was 18 at the start of legend of korra according to the avatar wiki website so 18 years from 70 means Aang died when he was 52! That's way too young compared to Avatar Roku or King Bumi. I always thought something was weird about Aang dying so soon from the moment I 1st heard Legend of Korra was set 70 years later. I was like "Already?! Roku was like 140 years old when he died how Aang die so soon?"
Honestly the second explanation with a bit of the first for the airbenders is the only one I'll accept. The airbending nomads were the benders we knew the least about. How were all of the people at the temples benders? Where were the children's parents? Did people from other nations notice their children developing airbending and then send them to the temples? There were probably a few airbenders with latent powers being born throughout the years and when harmonic convergence happened their powers got stronger, but it didn't create anyone who couldn't already bend, since airbending is the strongest spiritual bending.
That being said I REALLY hope Bumi isn't airbending like they have him doing in the trailer. He's a non-bender and I want everyone to respect him and take him seriously with that in mind, especially after him saving the day in the Finale. Not "oh he really DOES have powers, let's take him seriously now".
Not trying to be a buzz kill but book 2 had 14 episodes
About the question regarding Bumi airbending, I just took it as since his father (Aang) was an airbender, Bumi infact possessed the ability to airbend, but it just never came to him as a child, leaving him with the assumption that he was a nonbender; this also happened to Korra since she too lacked ease in unlocking airbending, but knew she possessed the ability because she was the Avatar. As for the rest of the airbenders in the trailer, I assumed that after the Air Nomad Genocide, while some airbenders were found due to their possession of Air Nomad relics, others knew they had to completely abandon their Air Nomad culture and blend in with the rest of the Earth Kingdom citizens in order to survive. With the end of the Hundred Year War, and the birth of Avatar Korra, they exposed themselves, knowing they no longer had to fear the Fire Nation hunting them down.
So they broke Korra's connection with her past lives so she wouldn't abuse the avatar state anymore?
Lol she did abuse it alittle >
She still has it
when wan first fused with ravaa he entered the avatar state without past lives, thus meaning that korra can enter the avatar state, she probably weren't in a dangerous situation to do so.
The Avatar State is when she taps into the Powers and Knowledge of her past lives. She have lost that link so she shouldnt be able to use it.
ZaxsP The avatar state is when the avatar draws upon Raava's spiritual power. If what you say was the case, then Wan wouldn't have been able to use it when he sealed Vaatu away as he had no past lives at the time. Even Wan stated that when Raava past through him 'I feel an incredible rush in power'
If I had to guess I would say sub bending for Air bending would Air blades. The creators said air benders could create sharp weapons/swords of air. Something like this wouldn't be used by monks since it's so lethal. I'd guess being able to basicially cut people with winds would be an OP version of what they can already do like metal and blood bending are to earth and water bending.
Lightningbending is actually a form of waterbending.. Not firebending. Firebenders can use it though.
It's like waterbending, but not a form of it. Who told you that?
Zuko in the episode where he teaches Aang to redirect lightning. His uncle invented it at the water tribe
I know, but it's not actually water. I think I confused myself...
you right you right
***** you right you right
Also If I am right about this, there is a little pattern in the Team Avatar people
1: There is always a pair of siblings
2: The firebender of the team is always the most confused
3: There is always 1 non-bender that is added later to the team
4: The team always consists an equal amount of males and females (If you count Suki from ATLAS)
5: There is always about 2 love interests inside the group
6: obviously, there is always 1 of each type of bending
(Maybe 7?) A character is added on later into the series
So this also leads me to a theory: If rule 4 and 6 apply, then I think book 3 we will see a new Airbender character, maybe also a new love interest for bolin.
is blood-bending the sub bending style of waterbending?
Yes. Like metal for Earth :)
Erallor What about energy? he said that korra learnt to do energybending, what sub style is it for?
I'm not to sure with TLoK but it was only known by two people in the original series, one of them most likely died, and the other didn't like using it and rarely did.
גל ווייסמן Energybending is not a sub, it is a separate element that is optional for the Avatar to learn. It predates all the other elements and even the avatar spirit! It would be interesting to know if energy has a sub style too.
If fire has lightning, earth has metal, water has blood, then what does air have?
you made one mistake, Katara did reference Sokka right at the start of book 1 when she was talking to Korra. he is confirmed as dead.
Sokka is in the show remeber during Korras message from Aang when she was trapped in tarloqs box (book 1) and Sokka was a councilman along with I believe was his father and a young Tenzin this was when tarloqs dad bloodbended the council
There is misinformation and a couple misconceptions I'd like to clarify and correct:
-Sokka did indeed die as in the first episode of the first season where Katara sees Korra off, she says, "my brother and many of my friends are gone"
-It is an impossibility that Lin could've been an officer during Yakone's reign, as Aang himself stated he was 40 in the flashback where Toph arrests Yakone, He had Tenzin when he was 32 so Tenzin would be 8 and he is the same age as Lin thus proving Lin was not old enough to even be a teen
-The Avatar state is not like going super saiyan where that is a result of the saiyans' own strength. The avatar state, rather, is an accumulation of past avatars' knowledge and experience, in other words, borrowed power, combined to give the current avatar temporary bending output (power) increase, so if you cut off that connection that binds korra to the previous avatars, then it should be obvious that korra can't go in the avatar state, even in dangerous situations, because there are no past avatars she can borrow their power from! It's not speculation that korra can no longer go in the avatar state, it's a fact, unless like Emergency Awesome said, that she reconnects with the avatars.
-Korra learned to energy bend at the end of book 1.
Hopefully, this will shed light on those who were unaware of this. To Emergency Awesome: Keep up these videos! I just wanted to prevent confusion among fans and give you some feedback!
Please keep doing the Q & A's, you answer so many questions I've been thinking of. I also heard this theory that Sokka is either Lins father or her sister, but I think that because both sisters have strong earth-bending heritage there's a possibility that their fathers are from the earth kingdom. Let me know what you think :)
I clicked on this vid bcz the thumbnail was Azula. I didn’t even read the words I just clicked it on instinct.
Kira M Please check out my new Avatar AMV 🤗❤️
Im still loving your videos man. I want to know more about the Avatar Universe but who ever has the time. thanks for the short cuts lol
Lin's father was Kanto, The metal city is called Zuafo, the woman is Suyin Beifong, and the girl is Opal Beifong.
Sokka already died, Katara hinted that in Season 1
SPOILER
When Zaheer tells Korra the red lotus is what the white lotus was supposed to be , How? I mean the original - important members were high ranked , Bumi was a king , Iron & Jon Jon was a general I think , makes little sense to me
zaheer's plan to strip the world from governments was his own idea, not part of the red lotus ideology. they believed they shouldnt serve the avatar and wanted to live with spirits if I remember correctly
she can still enter the avatar state. Its Raava, the white spirit that gives her those abilities, not the past avatars..maybe she'll be the start of the next line/tree or the more she gets in touch with her spiritual self, she'll get them back..there's the yin/yang spirits at one of the poles which might help
Do more q&a's please. You are my favorite channel to watch. Your Korra videos are awesome and all others. What is the sub bending of water
All I gotta say is that I love that the voice of Korra's father is the voice of the dad from Dexter, I really like that actor!
There is a clip in the trailer where Asami is carrying Korra out of the Misty Palms Oasis. I think that Korra was in the Spirit World at that time (the clip with the orange trees and a whale-like spirit flying around.) Which explains why Mako and Bolin were the only ones shown fighting the bending criminals at the Misty Palms Oasis. Maybe Mako and Bolin were trying to make enough time for Asami to smuggle Korra out of the Misty Palms Oasis. Remember in ATLA when Katara was protecting Aang's Body from Zuko.
Never seen your videos but I subbed and hope to see much more!
Keep doing Weekly Korra vids,
You're the best!!!!
totally subscribed, really intresting , looking forward for more avatar informations
1-what dod you mean she can't enter the avatar state because she lost her past connections? she goes avatar state within the first 3 episodes trying to get rid of the vines!
2- she learned to energy bend at the end of book 1! get your facts straight!
3- if jenora wasn't in spirit form like you say then why has she not yet done air bending? that is spirit form jenora and she's really really good at going into spirit form
In the trailer released which was weirdly recorded where there were clips of season 2 and 3, you could see korra in the avatar state bending water around the Vaatu vines.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a group of airbenders that survived. Towards the end of the video, you talked about how Jinora used Astral Projection to pass through walls, this group of airbenders could have done the same thing to find an ample hiding spot from the Hundred Year War.
Thanks u answered a lot of my questions!
If you read the manga that takes place after the original show, an engineer is introduced that is Toph's love interest. Lin looks like this engineer. Lin and him have the same hair style. This engineer is most likely Lin's father. But, Lin does have a younger half-sister. This half-sister has the physical qualities of the earth nation people but her skin is slightly darker. Her skin is lighter than Korra's but definitely darker than the typical earth nation citizen. This second daughter might belong to Sokka and Toph...I hope. What is certain is Toph was involved with two men.
Katara in the first episode of Book 1 said Sokka was dead her quote was 'Aang's time has passed, my brother and most of my friends are gone...' so Sokka is in fact dead. (But I hope for flashbacks, I really want more Sokka flashbacks)
Regarding Toph and Sokka, I believe Katara said she was the only surviving member of Team Avatar, and I know for a fact she mentioned her brother's death.
also on the theory that aang gave bending to someone, that person could have been Zaheer. since he is already a skilled bender, he must have had it for some time. Therefor Aang could have bestowed upon him the element of air. Maybe he was a high ranking air acolyte?
Aang wouldn't have known he could do that at the time. Korra only discovered it because she had to reconnect with Wan and Raava. Furthemore, the leaked episodes stated that Zaheer could hit bending after Harmonic convergence
AvatarReiko ok thanks for clearing that up! :) i hadn't watched the leaks yet so i was just spitballin
I really don't think Korra being disconnected to her past lives effects her entering the Avatar state. Remember, she was able to enter the Avatar state just fine in the finale of Book 2 after her past lives were erased. I think what they're going for is showing how much stronger Korra is, so that she doesn't have to enter the Avatar state unless she's in like a world-threatening situation.
Couldn't agree more. In fact, the Avatar state would be stronger since Raava was at full size. I think what they are doing is trying to remove the AS from the equation, just for this season I think. By making Korra stronger without it, she can be pushed further by her foes when fighting without it.
She did enter the Avatar State in Season 3 Episode 1, when she used waterbending to try to get rid of the vines in Republic City
Please do continue posting bonus videos for the legend of korra!
Yaay the music is back!
the subbending style of air is flying
also astral projection
Justin Carter No, it's cloud bending and sound bending
I'm certain I saw her entering the Avatar State in one of the latest trailers.
In the very first episode, Katara stated that Sokka was gone (aka dead) so he's probably not coming back aside from within flashbacks.
With that shot of her young, means we will see how she got the face scar. Also the three episodes have a hell of a lot of fights in them, and their is a women with a azula crazy smile.
To me it seems like projecting yourself is a spirit thing, how well you're connected to your inner self, and the sub bending for air, from what I gathered in the first series could be sound. If you remember when they went to the air temples and Aang had to open them up with air, the bended air transferred into sound. Just an opinion though.
