I am an advanced player i bought it and love this paddle it elevated my game ! 100% recomended i did consider the VANGUARD POWER AIR INVIKTA but i think i made the right decisoon sticking to the Head
Thanks for the review! I played tennis for years with the Head Radical Tour. Wife recently got me into pickleball, so I was looking at Head specifically. Glad to hear the handles are premium. Really love tennis handles and grips. Thanks again!
I’ve played with Head tennis rackets growing up and what interests me most is to find out what they can do with a pickleball paddle. Also, the smaller grip!
Yeah, I used the Head Radical (Agassi) racquets back in my tennis days, too! I like the cosmetics on this paddle (I prefer black paddles without a lot of flashy colors). But I agree, my price point for paddles is around $150.
Great review, appreciate your honesty about price:performance for this paddle. The most interesting thing about the nite is the low swing weight on an elongated shape, might be the only one other than the Vauraus.
I have been on the hunt searching for a better power paddle. The size of the handle sounds intriguing. I keep finding myself coming back to the head paddles. Would be nice to try and see if it improves my game.
Played competitive tennis since 2003 to 2019 with head rackets. Started playing pickleball in 2023 and until now I’m still trying to find the perfect paddle for my game. Torn between 16mm or 14mm lol 15mm might best suit my game! 5.5 handle length best for my double hand backhand too! Been wanting to try the radical tour raw ex but didn’t wanna spend money then saw they release a new one! And then saw your vlog and giveaway!! lol
It won't be too expensive if I win, broski! Seems like a real solid paddle besides the price. I'd really like trying out the 15mm core. I love when reviews are served with a side of humble salad. It helps to reel in some of these company's prices and keeps the market much more competetive and accountable. Well done.
I wear Head Revolts as my court shoe of choice. Interesting that they are releasing some paddle designs aimed at the gearhead. We need to see more of the big equipment brands engineering and releasing competitive market entries!
This paddle will feel familiar because i have played with a Radical Pro in the past. i definitely think the 15mm could be nice like you eluded to in the review. Good work with the honest review.
My previous paddle was a head gravity lite so I’d be curious to see how Head has continued to innovate! I also came from tennis where I played primarily with Head.
Great review. The elongated handle with that smooth grip is definitely promising. Head makes great tennis racquets. I’ve been playing with the OS Radical since 1996 and would love to try the paddle. Keep up the good reviews😊
Interested to see how the Head handle feels and how a 15mm would play. I’ve only played with 14 and 16mm (pickleball) and have only played with Wilson rackets in Tennis Over $200, there better be more technology than thermoformed spray on grit
I would probably like the smaller grip but I think I like the slick design more. The price is steeper than I expected though. Maybe, it's more or a Batman's paddle. 😎
I play with a Wilson Blade, by “default”, I trusted Wilson, and bought myself the Wilson Blaze… Very good PB paddle though, so i don’t know if Head will do the same…
I probably wouldn't pay a premium price for this. Twisting is a bit disappointing but as you mentioned can be corrected with lead tape. Looking forward to see what else Head comes out with
Im a tennis player who has been playing more and more pickleball and ive played with a few head racquets myself. Im interested in trying this one out and see what this premium handle feels like. A shame the price is high 😢
What is it specifically that is so good about the handle? Is it a more rounded off handle where you feel the edges of the bevels less? That’s what I’m looking for
Head Racquetball Player here. It’s a little sickening how many brands are available for Pickleball, compared to racquetball and the innovations in the technology pickleball is seeing. Meanwhile racquetball rackets just see the same old stuff with a different paint design. It’s a dying sport. Anyway I’m curious to see if Head has cracked the code in making spray on grit last.
Since this is my second comment can I get another entry? 😛 haha I kid I kid.... I keep coming back to this review as I am really interested to try this paddle! I got to try the head radical tour raw last night and I was impressed. It definitely helped improve my game. The Nite just seems so much better.
Looks like the giveaway ended yesterday but entering anyway 😶 do I have a chance? Thinner paddles such as the Paddletek Bamtam which you have an upcoming review for and this one look to be the new wave versus 16mm.
I am an advanced player i bought it and love this paddle it elevated my game ! 100% recomended i did consider the VANGUARD POWER AIR INVIKTA but i think i made the right decisoon sticking to the Head
It's looks so nice and sleek. Love the long handle and the swing weight is solid!

I love orange accents on black. I used the orange and black oversized racquet for doubles cannot remember the name.
Great review, appreciate your honesty about price:performance for this paddle. The most interesting thing about the nite is the low swing weight on an elongated shape, might be the only one other than the Vauraus.
I'm happy to see Head come in and hope for more competitive market. This will push innovation
My friend really likes the Tour Raw, so excited to see HEAD pushing it some more. I'm most interested in that 15mm core. Great review as always!
Thanks Matthew!
As a tennis player beginning to play pickleball... I am very interested to try this paddle after watching this review. Thank you!
Coming from tennis - new to pickleballl so like your review stating tennis backgrounds will enjoy this feel! Appreciate your reviews on all paddles.
Thanks Reed!
I have been on the hunt searching for a better power paddle. The size of the handle sounds intriguing. I keep finding myself coming back to the head paddles. Would be nice to try and see if it improves my game.
Used Head for tennis. Grip looks comfy. Design looks clean. Must have!
Spray on grit does it last?
Not as long as peel ply

That is quite the journey!
Big fan of the head paddles. Glad you made the review on it. ❤
The 15MM thickness is very interesting along with the Head reputation. Great video and review.
It won't be too expensive if I win, broski! Seems like a real solid paddle besides the price. I'd really like trying out the 15mm core.
I love when reviews are served with a side of humble salad. It helps to reel in some of these company's prices and keeps the market much more competetive and accountable.
Well done.
Thank you, seems like the price gets ignored sometimes and for some performance is the only thing that matters.
Thanks for the review! Yes a bit pricey, but does look nice! CF plus grit interesting!
I wear Head Revolts as my court shoe of choice. Interesting that they are releasing some paddle designs aimed at the gearhead. We need to see more of the big equipment brands engineering and releasing competitive market entries!
I am exited to play with this paddle when I am able to get one in my hands. Great video!
Appreciate the head brand.. handle comfort is important.. ty4 the vid
Design looks clean as well along with the handle.
Premium handle and clean design. Weight only needing a little amount of lead tape.
This paddle will feel familiar because i have played with a Radical Pro in the past. i definitely think the 15mm could be nice like you eluded to in the review. Good work with the honest review.
My previous paddle was a head gravity lite so I’d be curious to see how Head has continued to innovate! I also came from tennis where I played primarily with Head.
nice review! I like how it comes in 15mm haven't tried a 15mm but would like to try one one day.
The clean all black is stealthy good looking!
Great swing weight for an elongated paddle. Would love to try it.
The 15mm thickness for sure since its hard to come by!
Great review. The elongated handle with that smooth grip is definitely promising. Head makes great tennis racquets. I’ve been playing with the OS Radical since 1996 and would love to try the paddle. Keep up the good reviews😊
Oh wow a Head loyalist for a long time
I like the 15 mm and the handle for two handed grip.
Interested to see how the Head handle feels and how a 15mm would play. I’ve only played with 14 and 16mm (pickleball) and have only played with Wilson rackets in Tennis
Over $200, there better be more technology than thermoformed spray on grit
I would probably like the smaller grip but I think I like the slick design more. The price is steeper than I expected though. Maybe, it's more or a Batman's paddle. 😎
My first paddle was Head Radical Elite, good quality paddle.
I like the all black face. Curious about the spray on grit- why combine that with Toray unless they felt it improved spin.
They said it improves the consistency of applying the grit.
I play with a Wilson Blade, by “default”, I trusted Wilson, and bought myself the Wilson Blaze… Very good PB paddle though, so i don’t know if Head will do the same…
I like how sleek it looks!
Interested in the entry of another Tennis company. Really like the design
Keep up the good honest reviews!
Great review, interested in seeing how a 15mm plays.
I'd be really interested to try a 15mm core. Seems like a good balance point.
New brand to me in pickleball with a serious paddle
Nice review! I like the night mode that this paddle provides, hahaha. Big Head loyalty throughout my pickleball career! 15mm core feels right for me.
Thank you!
Great review! Looks to me like a paddle worth $120-140 being way over priced for brand name only.
It will be interesting to play with a 15 mm since 14 and 16 seem like the standard
I probably wouldn't pay a premium price for this. Twisting is a bit disappointing but as you mentioned can be corrected with lead tape. Looking forward to see what else Head comes out with
Looks good. Usually a fan of Head products.
Im a tennis player who has been playing more and more pickleball and ive played with a few head racquets myself. Im interested in trying this one out and see what this premium handle feels like. A shame the price is high 😢
I think this paddle would be fire with some tungsten tape at 4 & 8. I love Head, especially if it's a free giveaway.
Thanks for the review.
What is it specifically that is so good about the handle? Is it a more rounded off handle where you feel the edges of the bevels less? That’s what I’m looking for
I believe it is a molded handle and it is smooth but if you squeeze you can still feel the bevels they aren’t as pronounced as most paddles
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball So it is more of a rounded-off feel it sounds like? Thanks for the information sir!
Interested in the combination of CF and grit.
Grit on a T-700 is interesting. Didn’t know grit was ever applied to raw carbon.
The indoor court you play out looks like a dream.
I wonder how long the grit will last
I’ve been lucky to get more indoor facilities opening around me lately
like many of the comments... the 15 mm is new and something id like to try
thanks for posting
How does this compare to the Speedup Fire?
I would personally get the Speedup Fire better price and similar performance. If I remember correctly the fire does have a higher SW but not by much.
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball Thanks!
I've only used 16mm paddles, would be cool to test out the 15mm
What is the name of that pickle facility and where is it located?
It is a lifetime facility
15mm is enticing
This paddle looks great and seems it might hit well too
Rarely ever see Head paddles in play. Would be nice to rep the company!
Brand, 15mm, quality handle and sleek design are good. Price no good! Good review tho
Never played with a 15mm before!
Interested in the 15mm, premium handle, and whether it's worth the price!
You mentioned there was a 4” inch option on their website. Head’s site? I didn’t see a 4” option 😢
At the time I recorded they told me you could ask not sure if they are still doing it
Head Racquetball Player here. It’s a little sickening how many brands are available for Pickleball, compared to racquetball and the innovations in the technology pickleball is seeing. Meanwhile racquetball rackets just see the same old stuff with a different paint design. It’s a dying sport.

Loved playing racquetball in college hopefully this it can be revived
15mm is interesting, $220? Thank you for your honest review.
Since this is my second comment can I get another entry? 😛 haha I kid I kid.... I keep coming back to this review as I am really interested to try this paddle! I got to try the head radical tour raw last night and I was impressed. It definitely helped improve my game. The Nite just seems so much better.
Haha, haven’t tried the radical tour but seems like people like it.
i feel like this paddles taper seems much more noticable to me
I'm very interested in trying a 15mm.
Looks like the giveaway ended yesterday but entering anyway 😶 do I have a chance?
Thinner paddles such as the Paddletek Bamtam which you have an upcoming review for and this one look to be the new wave versus 16mm.
Yeah, I’m announcing tomorrow since the J2K giveaway ends tomorrow figured I’d wait just to have them in one post
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball thanks! Entering j2k and others now 😂
I am interested to see how a tennis company can compete in the pickleball space
They've been making paddles for 6+ years. Way before all these new startup companies
Interesting bc you don’t see a whole lot of 15mm paddles…and seems to have a unique handle
Spray on grit for 220?
I know, Selkirk has been getting away with it for years but they have built up a fanbase
This is something I probably wouldn't pay for due to the price, but something I'd main if I won it. Wink wink 😉
Price point seems a little high.
A bit Pricey for what you get.
Agreed
Wtf it's so pricey
$$$$$$
Great honest review. Looks like a decent paddle but price is 🫠
