Hi Erwan, we will visit Melbourne this month and part of our trip is to drive the Great Ocean Road. I have a question. 1.where did you rent your car? 2. Is Philippine Driver's License valid and can drive in Melbourne? 3. Is it easy and safe to drive from CBD to GOR except for the RH drive?
Thanks Erwan for covering Melbourne. Im from sydney and have driven the great ocean road going to the 12 apostles and i didnt even know that there are things you can do in those small town - now i know because of your video and will definitely drop by and check them out
Timboon is definitely one of the Stellar places to visit. Great cheesery is and bakeries and the scenery is beautiful. Real countryside but with plenty of gourmet food. When we visit Victoria Timboon is always one of the places where we stop. We could spend a whole day there with just the food alone. Another great place to stop that's not too far away is Trentham fantastic bakeries including the Red Beard Bakery which makes traditional sourdough bread the old fashioned way. I'm sitting here drooling just thinking about all the food in and around Timboon.
Aussie getaway luuuuuuuuvvvvvv iiiiiiit , I wish I could go there one day , praise the Lord 🙏🏼…wooooow 12 apostles look great I m gagged gooped amazed 😻
You missed the Otway Ranges which is full of waterfalls. Also just north of that is Beech Forest which has Ferns that grow taller than a two-storey house.
You missed loch ard gorge! Loving this melbourne series. Can’t wait for you to feature qvm. At least I could relive eating those hot jam doughnuts through you. 💕💕
Hi Erwan, awesome video! I miss Great Ocean Road! During our road trip we went straight to The Twelve Apostles for sunrise first, that way, we almost got the whole place to ourselves! Our goal was to avoid those people from giant tourist buses ;) Then we went to Loch Ard Gorge and the "London Bridge" then turned and went back to Kennet River and Lorne after lunch. It was better that way, I guess. Also, early mornings are better in Twelve Apostles... your shots will mostly be 'against the light' in the afternoon! :D
The Places You named a great but people need to understand they are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many astonishing places in that region quite a few of them are in unassuming little shops and sheds. Just by stopping and visiting the most unassuming places you can discover the most incredible and amazing food.
Awesome video, I've been a Melbourne local for over 30 years and this video inspired me to take the family out to check out some of the places featured here
Erwan, i know your wife is from Melbourne, but you really need to feature Sydney. That is where most tourists want to go.. As one of our former PMs said "If your not in Sydney, you're just camping out"
If you want to get back to Melbourne quicker you can drive inland to the major inland Highway that passes through Colac. It will shorten your journey significantly because the road is a direct route back to the Geelong area. Unfortunately you're also miss quite a lot of hidden treasures as well but if you have to be back in Melbourne the same day it's the quickest way to do it. Hola
The Great Ocean Road may seem relatively short but because the road is very winding if can take much longer than you expect to Traverse the whole distance. Most people will cover the distance over 2 days stopping about halfway.
Loving this series so much! Thanks for bringing back Overnight! Have you considered a roadtrip in the West Coast USA? This episode reminds me of the many road trips I've taken along the Pacific Coastal Highway and those through Utah and Arizona.
I wish someday i could also visit Melbourne but for now lets travel through this awesome virtual tour. Thank you kuya erwan for the tour. 3:14 cuteness overload😍 6:05 love the drone shot Hope to meet you someday :)
I grew up in Melbourne, I used to go on a GOR drive every 2-3 years, I love Apollo Bay the most. I have the same pic with the birds too. Lol hope you had fun. ^_^
How dare you rip apart a scone you animal!1oneone! One must always cut the bloody thing in half from the middle as you do with a hamburger bun. Fantastic series mate! Hope you enjoyed the state.
I believe he does. I'd like to assume that prior to his travels, he checks with the local embassy he plans to visit for the specific requirements for driving in that region/country. Erwan is a sensible guy and wouldn't be careless enough to go driving without permit in the countries he visits.
