- [4K] Laffland is a classic 1954 scary dark ride at Sylvan Beach Amusement Park in New York. We also got to ride it with the lights on as you can in the 2nd POV of this video. $5.25 per rider.
At the end of the video, you will see a point of view ride through of a steel roller coaster called 'Galaxi.' It's one unique coaster ride. $7 per ride. You can also find this type of coaster called "Galaxy Coaster" at traveling carnival throughout the States.

Somewhat it reminds me of the short horror house I'd build under the table when I was a kid for my brothers.

Also, we used to call that type of coaster the wild mouse, something I always loved, but had a hard time getting anyone to go on with me (must've been the way they always wobbled!) 😁😉

I love these rides in concept but they're always so hot and the fact you have to pay extra turns me off for such a cheap experience

Pretty cool to see a video from my neck of the woods, I grew up going to this park
Since more seem to notice the dark ride and I can't find nice things to say about it, that roller coaster. For the age and type it looked in remarkably good condition. Sure it's one you find in smaller parks or perhaps travel groups but it gets the job done. Shiny new coat doesn't hurt either, a nice galaxi coaster.
😭the horror house roller coasters used to get me every time as a kid . I would try to duck down in seat .

For the footprint it takes up, the roller coaster is pretty neat. The dark ride is pretty bad though.

Spook house rides of this nature sure love throwing cars at you, don't they? Sure, they're startling, but... spooky?
