Why would a normie want to hide the peeps behind this? Any normie without commercial success would need the exposure and dosh from this. This IS VC. He was DM and is the god of synth. No releases, names, anything….this guy is already successful. This is an already successful synth guy branching out into a personal love or a non-commercial venture for fun.
Fantastic demo. I love the MS-1(01) and I already new it was a great synthesizer. But of course, professional demos like this shows the full potensial.
I was lucky to grab one of the rare MS-101 (red) before Behringer changed the name to «MS-1». As a SH-101 owner I have to admit, that this clone is amazing. Well done Uli ;-)
Thanks for doing this demo. Part 1 is 100% outstanding! Did you use any internal or external stereo chorus for Part 1? I actually listened to it twice. I've made tracks like that with my Arturia Microbrute, Behringer Crave and Behringer Cat
Part 2 - very interesting work!!! How did you do this track? How did you pick up every part? Just laying the sound step by step? Or immediately there was a concept and idea where what kind of sound and the effect was to stand? Or just improvisation? Amazing groove ;)
part 1: every sound is from the MS-1 including the drums, Part 2: only the choir sound is from Padshop Pro - all other sounds were made with the MS-1, drums: Behringer RD 6
The sequences are well made and sound very good together. You really know this machine! Was it played live over the MS-1s sequences or was it layered in a DAW?
@@CollapseReport, I'm not into "surgical" details... to me sh-101 is a very simple (simplest) monosynth with as basic as it can be tone. What can I say. To my ear I can imitate this in pretty much any analog (and even some digital) synth. In the soundtrack it will never be noticeable difference.

Wow! You have talant. Every synth you get your hands on sounds awesome!
Really falls into an especially brilliant progression at 1:45. I am inspired. Thoughtful composition complimented by great sound choices.
progresja mega git
i would love to see videos of you putting this together. Amazing stuff.
Patiently waiting for SM to upload an MS-5 demo :)

Amazing use of this simple synth!
Perfect! Great patches
Can you please make a video and show how you create those patches? Would be awesome
Wow, pretty good composition.
Very nice demo and beautiful sounds :-)
I can't listen to other demos now. This is just so far beyond any of them
Fantastic

it was "well done" by Roland, as this is just a good copy. Thanks Roland
@@likeyouiam5996 Thanks Roland then, thanks Behringer NOW! :)
And only the name is different. So Why you have lucky?
@@JL-bu8bz As the MS-101 are limited and rare, they will go high in price for collectors in the future ;-)

just a small concept, the rest is improvisation
I live for stuff like this.
Was every sound (obviously not drums) from the MS-1?

Outstanding !!
Will there appear a production where these Synthesizers are all used together, or the most of them ?
One synthesizer.....the Behringer MS-1.
5:05 - cool synth FX ))) like Vinyl scratch
Very 1981
Beautiful tunes as always, wouldn't touch the Behringer sh!t though
Lol
plz dont buy their sh*t so the prices can remain low for us
I hear behringer tone.
Yes it's a psychological effect...
In other words SH-101 is as simple as it may be tone copied pretty much on any analog synth.
@@CollapseReport,
Hmmmm yes.

@@CollapseReport,
True. But, those differences are such insignificant that only for a collector it'll be meaningful to keep SH-101.
