- This is the moment a predator would attempt to abduct children while they walked home from school.
On the 25th of August 2023, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office would recieve multiple calls that a man had approached minors walking home from elementary school & had attempted to abduct them.
36 year old Christopher Povlik was arrested by police in connection with the incident after two students, aged 7 & 9 confirmed that he indeed tried to prevent them from escaping his presence.

Basically, anything you can do to hinder or disrupt standard procedures while in police custody, can be classified as resisting arrest in court. Personally, I think that this man was thinking he would slip the cuffs with enough effort and run away.

The cop needs refresher courses. Legally speaking the cop needs to give the suspect reason for detainment and/or arrest. It may have been communicated before the video started but if that's not caught on camera it can be ruled as official misconduct in court. Even when the suspect is annoying ignoring them isn't the right way to go about it and can potentially cause a mistrial with a jury of his peers. The cop being ignorant can cause the looney bird's release if the reason for the arrest wasn't presented on body cam footage. This is why people don't trust police. It would take the cop 3 seconds to tell him his charges in the car yet the cop answers him like a smart ass instead.
The cop said to him he's already told him 4 times why. He's just too wacked to understand.
