Something nobody mentions about the Akuma set is that if you use sword and shield they become invisible so you are just fist-fighting monsters, and your switch skills become street fighter moves lol
There's one thing I've really been missing when it comes to event quests and that is the layered armor sets also being a forgeable armor set. I really don't understand why it's only been layered armor for most of these events.
The clockwork set was the best reward for me! I play Gunlance and was doing a steampunk mix layered set and now i have the real deal! Just needed to change the skirt for a better one and the fashion was SET!
Yeah. Rise fans who presumably prefer the game over World are annoying with the denial over the obvious fact that Capcom has not given this game the same kind of event quest and seasonal support that World and Iceborne got. But it shouldn't be about which game you like more and trying to "defend" Rise from criticism. To me it's about Capcom pretending that this game is a mainline sequel when it comes to trying to convince people to buy the PC port but not actually treating it that way with the content they release for it.
@@megavolt67 event quests & rewards could definitely be better, though I understand the lack of rotating seasonal stuff since it was designed as a portable entry first where you download the events and just have them permanently compared to the way Tri and World did it with a rotating list of quests tied to an online schedule.
The "helmet" from the USJ layered armour looks great on a variety of fashion sets (although I prefer USJ sets of the past more). Akuma is awesome with SnS. It's too bad the Arthur set doesn't come equip with sound effects or anything like that.

I’ve done the revelry of destruction like 21 times farming parts for furious rajang armor. Tip use the gate to separate them then pick them off one at a time, or make them get in each other’s way so they will hurt each other.
Eeeeh these kinda feel like the majority of these are filler quests while the rewards we are used to getting are behind the eShop. We have gotten some good ones but about 70% of them have been pretty lackluster
Thank u for the vid. I always thought the ammy palimute set was a pc mod. Loved that game when I was a kid. I appreciate these vids bc I never knew event quests got u these rewards when I first started playing and only really started doing them when Sunbreak released.

This game just hit a lot of hurdles in development like the pandemic or being on a different game engine from every other MH before, and it's probably working with a smaller budget compared to World since it's basically a "portable" title rather than a main title.
Actually incredibly helpful I definitely stopped caring about the event quests because so many of them gave you lackluster rewards Cool to see there are some really rad ones hidden in there!
We need a master rank follow up of usj so we can have the master rank armor and a master rank upgrade to the azure star blade as it is one of the coolest long swords and they could bring the armor from world
The Azure Dragon Longsword is a High Rank Layered Skin. How do you use the layered for Master Rank? Because I love the Longsword and I want use that layered version of it.
layered armor is great, but i really miss those functional quest in world where it really bring something for you to farm those quest like the daimyo and pearls in rise, currently there is no point to do any of the event quest if you dont need layered armor
Is the game more focused online? I'm an offline single player enjoyer and tend to purchase games that have tons of hours to sink into without worrying about data connection whenever I got out. Is this like dragon's dogma with it offline playthrough or is it like diablo 2? If it's offline compatible will I miss out on stuff if I'm not online?

Eh, despite the fact that its mostly gestures and emotes, I dont find them that bad. For me, theyre the same as all previous events: go in, do a couple times, get out. Even World was the same. I just want some more comical or cool looking armor sets or, in this case, layered armor sets.
It's very likely that Nintendo cancelled those since the game is also on PC now. Knowing Nintendo, they wouldn't want their original IP on other platforms.

“NEED” is a very strong word that I would not use for this video. I get cosmetics are cool, especially if they’re free. But good god these are some weak cosmetics. They should honestly give us the option to change the colors on ALL parts in our main monster armors. Like rathalos. I want my azure rathalos armor! Let me have blue!
i am starting to find it annoying that they ask us to comment about something in the videos, and they never reply to the comments, which means they probably don't read them too. and in youtuber terms probably means they are just farming comments for engagement metrics, and i find this tactic disingenuous.

@@HenshinFanatic The Resi 2 Remake one was fun as well (the Vaal Hazak quest where effluvium turns you into a zombie). I agree that that a lot more effort was put into the inventiveness, presentation (which the Witcher one did very well by playing out like a Witcher 3 sidequest and I felt genuinely happy when I was able to save the Pukei Pukei and get the extra scene for it) and the rewards of event quests in World/Iceborne. I don't care at all about gestures or stickers. Events need to offer one or some combination of three things: 1 - unique weapons, armor, and layered equipment; 2 - convenience rewards (more points, money, decos, whatever than you can get normally); 3 - unique fights and mechanics (like the Resi 2 one did with the zombie status and using the herbs to cure it).
I've been extremely disappointed with the event quests in both rise and sunbreak, to the point where I stopped playing altogether. Most of them don't reward you with anything substantial, getting emotes or stickers feels like a bad joke, especially after seeing all the things they put in as optional DLC (500+ €worth as of right now). Armour skills haven't been too thrilling either. I really hope they tone down their greed for the next MH game, tho I don't believe they will.
Why in the world do i have to spend another $40 just to get a dlc for a game that i already own whwn i bought it for $60 just to continue playing its content? Not only that but the dlc is a digital so i would have to buy it twice just so i can have my little brother play with me. We’re going into a era where buying a game digital doesnt mean you own it outright.

It’s here for players who want substantially more content. Price is right imho, even though Iceborne was perhaps better value for money. Still, it’s an expansion with more content than most AAA titles have to offer. I don’t think complaint is justified here.
personally i just drop the game and goes back to monster hunter world, i don't know but the ost and all the silkmove are not that fun for me compared to the clutch, and the ost (well, it's good but not that amazing) the in World catch my attention more.

Well, the Arthur does change your daggers to little lances, similar to Akuma changing them to fireballs.

Good video, haven't done a single event quest since base Rise since the good ones are smothered by stickers and titles.

The Azure Age armor is the MR armor from World. But I liked the HR armor's look more, and we do need that meta topping 40% crit LS.

The USJ quest didn't work for me for some reason, but it did give me the layered armor sets for my companions.

they are not part of the game now, my guess is that they will add the more samurai version of the event later on the one that came 1st in world.
