I'm old, I had an S&M Sabbath & still have an old S&M hoodie. Mad dog's knowledge & enthusiasm is awesome. Van is an absolute legend too. My favourite bike check so far Thanks Source ❤
This is an awesome bike check. Moeller is a legend and I would love to meet him someday. It’s so incredibly interesting to hear him talk about everything bmx.
Nice intervew. Good to see some of my fellow old guys out there still in shape enough to enjoy riding .. Be fun to sit and have a beer with some of these guys ..
I'm getting back into flatland with a Hoffman Big Daddy frame. But I still like my seat post semi-high so I'm definitely getting this seat post, seat, and the S&M stem I hear it's perfect for flatland. Moeller is definitely an innovator.
In the mid 90s a s&m dirt bike frame was 270 quid, so with inflation it’s not too bad. It’s nearly 30 years ago so my memory may be failing me but I’m sure a standard shorty/lengthy was 440 frame only!
I have a 24" and I wouldnt buy another one. Its cool and all but finding parts for it is a nightmare. Id go with 26 for a cruiser setup if I did it again.
@@sole__doubt I just got on a model C it's fun and good for my back without feeling too alien. I'm a bike shop guy so parts aren't an issue I just thought it'd be rad for race and pump tracks without having to build up a dedicated 24" race rig
@@schlogman Oh yeah I love to ride my Haro 24. Its just when you need parts you dont have anywhere near as much to choose from as with 20 or 26. I didnt realize the disparity until I had a 24 but if you work at a shop then you know this.
@@sole__doubt pretty much just need the rims, tyres, forks and frame specified for 24". I mostly run animal parts with some older, lower rise T1 bars but I have been struggling to get rims down here in Aus, hopefully it'll get more popular, it's such a breath of fresh air
@@schlogman The lack of tires is my main complaint but the rims/wheels too. Mine came with single wall rims and they didnt last long so they werent fun to replace either. I had like 2 sets of wheels to pick from and thats it.
I got my trl ove green from my local store I didn’t noticed till I got home it said made in Taiwan but the stamps are there and google isn’t too specific if it’s fake
Chris is the king of bmx manufacturing, no doubt, but him and I differ on the disc brakes. they're just not as easy to set up and maintain as he describes.
Yes they actually are easier then he described in all honesty that's from a guy 42 that rode BMX and built trails into my mid to late 30' until slowing down and finding interests in MTB dh bike Park jump lines and learned about disk breaks and found them much easier and better. My buddy Dan Arney welded mounts to his 20" in the late 90's and most likely had the first disk brake BMX on earth. True story! Van knows who/what I'm talking about! P. S. Absolutely legends nothing but respect to both of you!!!!! Man I haven't seen Chase in two many years.
Mainline=the main vein you hit💉 Speedball= shot with heroin / cocaine mixed Trackmark= bruises from shooting up I always thought the tire names are funny as hell🤣
Dope peddle story... 👌 Did he really help credence? Whats he getting paid 🤔 Should've sold the grip, that was a selfish move. Capital rider i guess. Over the years ive ridden a next gen dirt bike, kris bennet and a btm. Best bikes ever... However, after all these years i personally would like to see some swag in those frames and parts. For instance, the btm cut out is too square, too lame. ✌️

This is why S&M bikes is the best Bmx company the passion that goes into every part they make…great bike check👍👍
I love listening to Chris talk about bikes.
Absolutely amazing to see Moller and Van together again. Moller I am your company's biggest fan and yours to Van.
I love how much care he puts into his products
There you go, 2 legends sharing true bmx in and outside preferences and riding itselfs, way to go guys 🙌☯️❤️

Such a killer setup! S&M has so much history and that has led to so much quality and innovation in their whole line . Love S&M
Just 🔥
👊
My first real BMX was a S&M dirtbike. S&M for life. 🤘🏽
22” Version ❤
Remember when everyone ran the primo tenderizer pedals?
History of pedal design discussion was super interesting.
Bike is INSANE

It took me a sec to notice it was Van! 😂😂 That man gave us so much in bmx! Fit legend..

It was an honor to point that camera.

When V pretends to be stupid…that is quality content. He’s a damn good interviewer.
Ah yes the old Uni™ race seats if the 80's & 90's. I still have one on my Hutch Pro Racer that's hanging up after yrs of track time.
I used to have a S&M PBR and a S&M next generation Holmes frames back in the day. S&M frames have got so expensive £599.99 a frame 😳🤯

Wish yall had these frames on your website.
Mad dog 🔥
🔥
Excellent bike check. The disc brake is pretty sweet, man. Not gonna lie.
Two legends
I loved the K9 Dzine when our local radster had one.
flange comment is funny to me! I actually wish I had a flange on my brake lever side so I could avoid hitting my hand on it easier lol
El mejor bike check !! El conocimiento es maravilloso
Can you ask S&M if they can make the widemouth pitchfork steer tube 175mm long for Gyro set ups. Thank you.
Do a Matt Beringer or Tate Roskelly bike check foreals!! 🤘
I'm going to order the 22-inch ATF with disc brake right now
We need a Homan bike check
They’ve done it already
Anyone else wanna buy fit tek grips now? 😀
S&M is on it!
Could watch these two talk for hours
👍

Atf 24" with a disc? Been looking around and I can't find any with the mounts that are a street-ier geo

Damn i had a cameo but it got cut
“Your first bike you gave yourself a signature bike” 😂
Legend 😎
💯
The Stan Boman grip
disc brake and integrated chain stays = take my money!
Wish I could afford an s and m frame and fork.. Last s n m I had was stolen back when I was seventeen.

Fit complete bikes are made in Taiwan.
It's still a Fit bike, but only aftermarket S&M/Fit frames, forks, parts are made in the USA.

Is this the 22 or 20”?
The Fit Trail pedals are the truth
