A challenging year to make vetch hay. early September weather was still cool and mild with the threat of rain on the 10 day forecast. Cut 11th Sept on the first 25deg day and raked 24th on a windy mild day. Finished baling 27th Sept and stacked and capped that day. 50mm rain 29th Sept....
