I presented the material from my ECE Design Fundamentals playlist as part of my Analog Circuits for Music Synthesis class, so here I just want to make sure that the broader community watching the main ECE4450 videos knows to watch these as well:
    • ECE Design Fundamentals
My preference would be to just put those videos in both the Analog Circuits for Music Synthesis playlist and the ECE Design Fundamentals playlist (since that material is useful in many applications beyond synthesizers), but UA-cam doesn't seem to want to let me do that.

May I ask, what is the math involved with analog electronics actually called in English? I really would like to get some more background because I'm not always able to follow the equations and such.

For the most part, it's just what in U.S. high schools is typically called "Algebra II," and then if you want to get into some more advanced things, the most basic parts of calculus (just taking derivatives and integrals of sinusoids and exponential functions).

Part of the difficultly is that although the math itself isn't too complicated, I'm using it in a particular style that is idiomatic to electrical engineering; that just requires repeated exposure until you start to pick up on patterns.

If at some point you want to get into more advanced material about the math underlying EE, I recommend checking out my ECE3084 Signals & Systems lecture series:

@@Lantertronics Thanks, that gives me some pointers to educate myself some more. English is not my native language and I think it'll help to spice up my math in English. I guess we're covered for repeated exposure with all the material that you uploaded. Thanks for that!
