The rare studio mostly unheard version of Jimmie Hendrix Machine Gun;) 🍀 You probably can't find it..lol...was removed from youtube because someone purchased the rights. Sucks because I can't listen to it anymore :( lol
Seriously. Why is it whenever these UA-camrs run in the middle of a gunfight, they don’t get touched, but I seem to get shot from every corner imaginable?
They never show you the bad plays they make. They only show you the kill streaks. They are not going to show you clips from when they are on a horrible team and can't get out of spawn without getting killed. I would bet he is not as good as you think he is. And he plays with a clan, which is always better than playing solo.
I remember a r6s tuber once answered this with something like "if people messes with a youtuber, I'll just use editing to make them look stupid, or not showing that round at all."
infinitsai sure pure aiming is easyer on PC but thats not important, playing and actually making kills is way more difficult because there are a LOT of really good players
The one that really surprised you was by far my least surprising one. Vietnam as a setting hasn't had the same exposure as WW2, modern warfare or futuristic titles. I'm shocked no one has jumped on this recently. I think previously it would be hard to present jungle warfare because of graphical limitations which are now greatly reduced.
I think you're right about the exposure and it having been so long since that setting has been portrayed in a game. Last time would have been BF Vietnam (which was a DLC) and CoD Black Ops 1 (which is hardly an exploration of the setting). For me, it seems like a great option would be to explore "cold war gone hot" using some of the conflicts that actually happened (Korea, Vietnam) and creating an alternate history where the cold war really goes super hot. For example, starting with the Korea conflict using post-WWII weaponry (going from BFV to this game would make sense and you could use some of the same assets in terms of vehicles/weapons), going to places not portrayed before, moving to more of a Vietnam conflict (satellite communist states vs. the west), then creating the alternate history where Vietnam devolves into the Soviets and Chinese being brought into it full-on, as well as a response coming from the west (Britain, France, West Germany) - these factions would come to the game and would battle communist vs. good guys on each map in theoretical battles. Or multiple factions would exist on certain maps, and each faction would have actual unique perks (like use of certain weapons, reinforcements, vehicles, infantry classes). Think about certain countries and what they excel at (inspired by Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and C&C Generals). So maybe the US excels at air power, Soviets with armor, Brits with special forces or naval, West Germans with armor, French with wine (or artillery lol). You get the idea.
There was a rumor of the next bf game or atleast one of them being vietnam all the way back after bf1 released. The idea is that it would be called battlefield VI (obvious sequel to V) VI as in VIetnam. The setting is that it would be vietnam going into ww3. And because that era almost drafted women dice can add the woke female bs if they want. Because it wont be actual vietnam.
I really dislike the cosmetics I don't want to be running in a beautiful realistic Vietnam war and see a player wearing a santa hat. Or in the ruins of a broken down Tokyo city and see someone with an unicorn suit and an animie themed p90.
I wish I could pick a country to fight for, because if I want to upgrade my Sherman for example I would have to get lucky in order to just be able to play for the Americans let alone level up my tank, I wish there was a vehicles only game mode.
Just add back the team switch option. I’ve had the same issue where I want to use something faction specific and it always puts me on the opposite team. So I in return have to leave a lot of match’s and matchmake until I get said team I want to be on.
I said this before BFV launched and I’ll say it again. A live service most likely will not work for Battlefield. They need to lower the price of premium and make said expansions free after a certain period of time. Maybe whenever a new expansion comes out, the previous one is made free?
live service with premium battle pass is the answer. Imagine each expansion introduce new army/company which only premium players can customize how their look via exclusive comestic in the battle pass. And maybe some cherry on top like early access to new map. But still, every dlc map should all be free for every players
Restricting content to players RUINED BF1 and split the fanbase, BF5 was a good step in the right direction. I think everyone should be able to play on all factions and all maps, but a paid battle pass could give cosmetics and other items to people who wanted to pay. But yeah...no paid DLC. I payed for the DLC in BF1, and it honestly wasn't worth it because nobody else wanted to pay for it.
The cold war would never be a game since it wasnt a real war. Just a bunch of fear and people testing bombs. Vietnam would be too much of the same. Island hopping which people can do on BF4 too in the south china sea.
Lets start with a functioning game, regular content drops, better atmosphere/immersion, no political agenda, no fiddling with the ttk, another studio that makes the game(lol), more "only in battlefield" moments, promises made are promises kept etc etc etc...
If BFVI is Vietnam, and they don't reveal it by showing "Battlefield VI" have the "Battlefield" part fade out and the "VI" move to the left on the screen revealing "ETNAM" behind it as it pans over and Forunate Son slowly gets louder in the background, I'm gonna be pissed.
All I want is a Modern Battlefield with 80% Realistic physics /Mechanics for the Tanks, Jets ,Helicopters, missiles , bullets etc .. Also why don't dice change the stupid tank combat system with a really fun realistic penetration and angles of penetration something like War Thunder Ground Wars + they need more studios to add content more frequently BIG CHUNKS OF CONTENT DICE YOU HEAR ME.
Sounds amazing, but when they tried to make an immersive, semi-realistic ww1 shooter, the community hated it. So I think dice isn't going to try and make something like bf1 in a modern setting. Witch sucks, cause I've always wanted a more realistic bf
Modern would still have guns we have used in games not top many new guns have been adopted also Americans would still have abrams, humvees and Bradley's not much would be new unless they choose to include ratnick 4 or talos body armor systems
Muffin Man Exactly thats what i mean, we can add onto stuff we still use. Also many games have had the XM-25 with proper airburst besides bf4, from my knowledge, so it would be awesome to see them recreate modern weapons and their advanced systems again but on a greater scale and with newer tech. They could also add equipment we havent gotten to use yet, like a better recon drone, breaching equipment, AR tech etc. I’ve noticed, playing R6S, that a lot of R6 equipment would fit perfectly into Battlefield, if only they’d make a new modern one.
In the end, it's all about execution. Premium with solid content or live services with solid content will just work. Animations that fit in the game flow, invulnerability in the right places. Team balance, private servers with proper management tools. Letting go of the deathgrip of how players experience the game. If Dice executes these things correctly the game will be great. But Dice as of now is cutting corners, only cares about their own bonuses, it's a hollow shell of s studio.
I wouldn't mind seeing the demographics of the votes. It honestly suprised me seeing these results. I don't know about you but i would assume most people want features to be similar to bf4.
Vietnam could be like bf4 with jets like warthogs harriers and tanks and helicopters like cobras and hueys but still having old school weapons and even the dope shit form bf1 like bayonets dynamite and even gas grenades. And make guy be even bring back elites like sentries and trench raiders. And to top it all off. FUCKING VIETNAM BABY
I just want a good hardcore and custom games. I’m not asking for dice to tailor the game for the hardcore players. I’m asking that they give us the means to do so ourselves. When it comes to controversial features and options for the game that will take it this way or that.... give both and make them optional. Make this the battlefield that is customized by players , let us balance for our servers , let us set spawns , let us make maps, let us make game modes .... let us make the battlefield we want to play.
What I'd love to eventually see is a Battlefield set in the late Cold War (1985-1989) where Warsaw Pact faces off against NATO in Europe, Black Sea and the Arctic. Basically a Red Storm Rising esque setting. It would be modern enough to not be too different from the current AAA FPS games out there, but it would take place in a time and setting that isn't often seen in video games. Maps could take place in Berlin, Denmark, Norway, the Fulda Gap, Turkey, Iceland and the Aleutian Islands. Tanks like the T-80 would face off against early M1 Abrams, Mig-29s against F-16As and AH-64As agaisnt Mi-24s. East German infantry fighting agaisnt West German troops for control of a crossing over the Elbe River, Soviet troops fighting Turkish soldeirs for control of the Malacca Strait, and so on. Imagine secret raids on a Soviet safehouse in Havana, or on the Cobra Dane radar array in Alaska. There's a lot of material that could be covered in this what-if scenario as it wouldn't necessarily be tied to actual events.
I wonder what results this survey would have on older Battlefield channels like Westie, Jackfrags, and Levelcap. Their audience has been around since Battlefield 3 or 4.
It would be a lot different. For example I feel a lot of people who want to keep the vehicle and revive animations first started playing Battlefield when BF1 came out and never experienced previous Battlefields such as BF3 and BF4 where you could fluently get in and out of vehicles and do neat stuff like get emergency repairs off quickly, or bail out of a C4 jeep right as it’s about to hit a tank. Or if you were a really good player, jump out of a jet and snipe another jet pilot while getting back into your own jet. Things like that made gameplay 100x better.
@@lejenddairy As someone that started playing BF with 1942... (don't you love that intro lol) I think the animations are a good addition. The BF3/4 era players and youtubers are all about the twitchy run and gun gameplay where they can solo and still top the scoreboard. Battlefield has mostly lost its team/squad mentality at this point, despite their efforts to enforce it in various ways.
Lejend Dairy I have also been here since bf3 and the new animations in the game really have shown me a lot of you past battlefield players relied way too much on things like that smh. New animations are way better than just teleporting out of the vehicle or reviving by poking someone😂
I’m telling you alt history Cold War is the way to go, make it like 70’s-80’s, plenty of weapons to choose from and you could even use pro type weapons since alt history and older ww2 guns under the “lore” guise of “the countries are running out of supplies so they just use whatever they got” which could also go into customization with guns and characters with rs2 types of character customization, plenty of vehicle from jets, helos, prop planes, crazy prototype tank designs (again alt history) you could have lots of gun customization (not just aesthetically like earlier) with foregrips, “red dots,” grenade launchers ect. ect. and plenty of maps from maybe a tactical nuked NYC to a Russian eastern block to the Berlin Wall the jungles of Vietnam and the deserts of Africa, just so much stuff you can have with an alt history Cold War battlefield game
Alternating history is a bad idea, eggheads are gonna complain like they did with Battlefield 5. I get what you're saying, but I would rather want them to focus on one war, like Vietnam. Focusing on just one will set a great theme and just give a better experience over all.
Cadin Nelson it’s a good idea. The Vietnam War, Falklands war, Afghanistan war, Border war in Africa, Congo 1960-1965, Iran-Iraq War, Six-Day War etc can be a part of the new Battlefield. (Sorry for my english Skills)
People want Vietnam but don’t realize how devoid of content it would be. It needs to either be a DLC or a off branch, smaller scale Battlefield, kinda like Battlefield 1943 but maybe not that small.
GnoKyKy exactly, people want Vietnam as a title but don’t realize it’s going to have significantly less content then BF1 and BFV and will have repetitive maps due to being a Battlefield based in one small country.
What I mean by Korea/Vietnam then Cold War is where in Korea and Vietnam things like the Pershing and Centurion were still in use, and then for Cold War I mean like Abrams, Challengers, T-72s. And as for historical based games, you have a lot more freedom when it comes to smaller conflicts like Korea and Vietnam and even more with the whole “Cold War gone hot” speculation. Basically when the Soviet Union was still around. WW3 or Modern would be Post-Soviet.
I would love to see a Vietnam battlefield with a campaign. I think it would be cool to run around in a rat tunnel and have a fear of stepping into a punji trap and call in napalm. I think a well executed Vietnam Battlefield would be amazing.
They need to bring back the bfbc2 movement speed, made you feel like you actually were carrying a weapon system and all the ammo. The rest of them were way too arcade feeling. Slower movement speed, more hardcore damage model, different munition for AT weapons (frag, smoke, heat).
If battlefield goes into Vietnam What I want to see: AK-47, M16, SLR rifle, As weapons As gear I want: ‘Blooper grenade launcher’, RPG, A bush (Cuz them Vietcong wore them As cars helicopters tanks, Ect: Huey Helicopter. If they re add customization: Australian, Korean (south), Thai, and Troops from the Philippines for uniforms
All I want is a 2142 follow up. I doubt I'm alone here. We need to move forward rather than rehashing the same time periods over and over again seeing that WW2 has been done at least three times now, Vietnam twice (with the second being the BFBC2 DLC), and a modern era three times in BF2, BF3, and BF4. I know I've missed a few in there but the point is clear: Let's do something different already.
They did that as an expansion on Battlefield 2. I think it was just called Special Operations or something like that. I think it would work well as a DLC again rather than it's own stand alone game, but that's just me.
- No attrition - Medium skill gap - Animations : BF1 movements (minimalist , quick and fluid) , passive healing and ressuplying , BF1 death animation , no animations to getting in or out of vehicles (boring) . - Team balancing - Vietnam or Modern (or Cross Era) - Premium = 20 maps or more - I play BF for the multiplayer
I think they need to do away with most animations, especially regarding vehicles. I’ve been playing Battlefield for a long time and I miss the days I used to be able to immediately jump out of a vehicle and repair it in the heat of things. Or when I was able to rig a Jeep with C4, ram it into a tank and bail out immediately just in time. Or going on the top plays videos and seeing some of the best players pulling off rendezooks and jumping out of jets and sniping other jet pilots mid air and then proceeding to get back into their jets, which drew a lot of viewer ship to the Battlefield community. Animations look really cool and amazing but greatly hinder gameplay potential in the end of the day. If they are going to keep certain animations they need to look at if it effects gameplay or not. But yes I mostly agree with you!
Especially on premium because we used to get close to 30 maps with premium and I’ve been telling people before BFV came out that the live service was always doomed to fail.
I got to vote an all of them and don’t regret any of my decisions... Vietnam would be really cool because yea, it hasn’t been visited by any titles in recent years and with new graphics and playerbases it could be really cool
People who think a 'modern day' setting will solve all the issues what we have with BFV i have no words for that haha.. btw Vietnam is honestly something i wish for
Mhh yess... I get what u mean, but than, at the same time, i think that they ve already done a great BF with BF3/BF4/BFBC in modern setting. In my opinion it would be enough to simply copy those games with new maps and thats it! BF was so an awesome franchise in these days.. Sometimes i ask myself: why is it so complicated xD
You say that but you are wishing for a setting that is going to get stale, seeing as it will have significantly less variety then BF1 and BFV, which are two Battlefield titles that are known for having dry content. Furthermore the maps will have a repetitive scene being that it’s set in one small country. A modern setting alone isn’t going to fix all the issues but it’s a step in the right direction.
@@lejenddairy yes okay! You are right! A simple modern setting could may be boring and nothing special new, but it would definetly have more variety because of all the modern Gadgets at vehicles etc.. that was what i disliked in BF1 and BFV... I have to admit that with viatnam setting it may function as well because - like you said - it is that step in the right ((more) modern) direction.
A game is definitely more than its setting. Even modern era BF would suck with the mechanics or BF1 & BFV, especially the garbage live service they came up with.
Guillermo Garza you can still have good customisation in a battlefield set in an earlier time period it’s just very rare in the current gaming industry but it can be done
tbh I don’t want Vietnam because of the content issue. Especially given BFV is so devoid of content in many aspects. Vietnam needs to either be a DLC or a off branch, smaller scale Battlefield project. Not a full game.
I would love to see Korea! I know its off the beaten track but a game with South Koreans, Soviets, North Koreans, Americans Chinese, Brits etc in a (kind of unknown theater) would be cool? Maybe just me...
Doing lesser known things is great and sometimes I'm a fan of but after this game they need to do something that a majority of people will like so the franchise doesn't die
The problem is it’s not enough to sustain itself for a normal Battlefield cycle content wise. It would need to be a smaller, off scale Battlefield title. Not a main title. Same goes for Vietnam.
I’m a skilled player that loves the current attrition system, I don’t usually have a problem finding ammo or medical supplies, but I enjoy being able to cause damage to someone without them being able to just regen in a little bit of time
*THE COLD WAR* Would love to see The Cold War Era at it's prime in Battlefield, that being the 1980s. NATO vs Warsaw Pact. US Army and USSR Soviet Army. Bundeswehr and Volksarmee (West & East Germany). So many vehicles and firearms that deserve attention. Especially their uniforms and body armor. There's so much history. Make Battlefield better than being generic. NATO vehicles fighting their intended opponents. M2 Bradley vs BMP. M1 Abrams/Leopard 2 vs T-72/T-80. AH-64 Apache vs Mi-24 Hind. F-4 Phantom II vs MiG-21. Hopefully it'll be like BF3/4 not a mess like BF1/V. Customization is absolute crap. Make it like Rising Storm: Vietnam. Actually have a standard uniform regulation, but with historical and accurate options. Goggles, headwear, there were even a ton of *historical* camo patterns for uniforms.
What about a civil war era game? Complete with more horse and maybe naval combat? This could certainly make up for the lack of naval warfare in bf5 and as well as add maybe things such as ironclad ships, juggernaut cannons, and more bayonet ideas. This could also lead to some very interesting campaign storys involving brother on brother fighting and slave companys on the war front.
As a lone wolf I really like attrition. I like having to fight to keep myself supplied, and it's really immersive to begin _dying_ before the final bullet lands, knowing I'm running out of medical supplies, as the end becomes near. Only major infantry gameplay changes I'd make from BFV style as it is currently is that shotguns should have much longer lethal range, like in Battlefield 3 and 4, and the slide should be removed.
There isn't and will never be a bug free game, doesn't matter who it's made by and how much money you put into it. Their games have all been great products, tho Battlefield 5 could of had the Pacific and Eastern front, and more famous realistic focused battles before release.
@@noahsalinas6799 The guy on the ground just watched him hose down his entire team. He was wise to try and blend in, like a baby gazelle on the Serengity.
Just imaging a Vietnam campaign or war stories and being able to play as the NVA or VC fighting against France and South Korea as defenders of their country in the beginning of the war and then play as a infantry soldier, chopper gunner, Navy S EAL, or fighter pilot for the U.S. There could be some stealth/sniper missions for a navy seal story or a story as a fighter pilot after bombing and destroying a base to be shot down and have to fight your way out of enemy territory. There are a lot of great ideas that can come out of Vietnam.
Vietnam was a very complex war so I would indeed prefer it as the next Battlefield game. Modern war can be interesting but I feel like it’s seen almost everywhere. It’s good to have some variety here and there. Also your gameplay is really satisfying lol
Please remove most animations. Yes it looks neat and cool, but it ruins gameplay in a lot of aspects. I’ve been playing Battlefield for a long time and I miss when I could bail out of a tank immediately and get repairs off quickly. Or bail out of a C4 jeep immediately after ramming it into a tank and detonating C4. Or watching videos of people pulling off rendezooks and crazy shit that just overall drew in a lot of viewers to some of the amazing players in the Battlefield community. Again, animations look great, but they greatly hinder gameplay. I feel like a lot of people that voted yes maybe just started playing Battlefield when BF1 came out and haven’t experienced older Battlefields where immersive animations were not a thing.
Agreed. The realistic animations make riding in vehicles such a hassle. Especially the first points for the pacific maps are so annoying. The landing ships were a cool novelty at first, but they become really annoying to use on most maps where there's a high chance you will just get annihilated while exiting the ship.
Matty G A lot of people care and it’s a game. Immersive features are nice but there is a extent where they get annoying. If you want it to feel like an authentic, deeply immersive Battlefield, there are games like Arma, Hell Let Loose, verdin, etc that are very realistic for gaming standards.
I feel like it shouldn’t b to skill based in a regular game but they should add a ranked a ranked section where like rush b conquest would b skill based bc those game modes depend on a whole team to coordinate pushes In order to take a section.
And I believe that regular play should have a balanced team system sense it will b 64 people on each team id say 10 people wit high 2.0 kds 20 wit 1.5 to 1.7kds and the rest 11.5 and less that way the teams are equal n awaycu got the 10 which would q big squad wit mic doing coordinated pushes sense it will b more people on a team there squads will b bigger I say 2 teams on each squad should b great 4 squads b good and the rest b advrahr that will make the games fun that way u will have fun u will have ez fights hard fights and as rage
I would love a Cold War era game from dice. They could go with the historical accurate route or just make up a new alternate universe scenario( but they would have to make that obvious before launch). Since this era hasn’t been visited for a long time with a lot of big companies, especially call of duty, it could very much work. There are rumors that the next cod title would go back to Vietnam or Cold War era, I think it would be a really smart idea for dice to follow this route and have a bad company 3 or something like that.
I would love to see an arcade mode like in Battlefront 2. This would be perfect for both single player and even online players so they can get a feel of the maps and practice up a bit before heading into a PVP mode.
the kind of DLC i think would work alright is the maps are free for download while some weapons and gadgets are paid so everyone can play on every map but don't have all the weapons and maybe also a bit of a live content for cosmetics with the attrition i think the health system should be adjusted with i can heal fully but the start of healing starts after a long time and the healing is slow and if i use a health pouch i use it the second i use it and it's rapid there's also a 35% of bleeding from the bullets and any fragmentation recieved so the health pouch needs to be bandaged around the arms and body to stop the bleeding which would kill if not treated
I fell like attrition would be good if implied right. Such as no full health regen, but infantry should be able to have max ammo and tanks/vehicles should have the maximum amount of ammo it is able to hold and the only resupply stations are on objectives
Vietnam would bring some cool American tanks to play around with, like the M46, M48, and M60 Patton tanks. I would love to play around with those. It would be hilarious to see the chain link anti-HEATFS/ATM fence around the turret
I got the feeling Batlefield 1 was and will be best creation from whole series. 2 World War and again same battles in dozens games don't suprise nobody, same another future shooter or Vietnam game. BF1 setting up very well made game in World War 1 made something very special. Things like cavarly units, gas granades/masks, armored trains and Zeppelins make BF1 very special. I wish all the best for BF6 but don't think something can beat BF1, plus BF3 and 4 are still liked and played. Imo they should stop serie after 6. Hope it wouldnt be something so ridiculoues like every1 year new edition of FIFA or NBA.
I think there's one era you might have skipped over that i believe has been skipped over quite a bit in video games. Korea. years ago, before even BF1 was announced, I said theres two theaters of war that Military shooters seem to avoid, WW1 and the Korean War. With BF1 tackling WW1, all that's left is Korea. And I think it would be a great background to base a new military shooter title. The Korean War might have been short lived, but it introduced a lot of firsts. It was the first time Jet aircraft fought against one another (most notably the F-86 Sabre and the MiG-15), the first time Helicopters were used in mass in combat, and I think the first time radio guided bombs were used as well. Not to mention the rise of newer and bigger weapons, like bigger tanks, artillery, and soldier mounted weapons. The terrain of Korea is also very vast and varying, from tall and hilly mountains, to open valley and plains, grasslands and forests. not to mention a sweep of climates. I think Korea cold be a very interesting venue for the Battlefield Series.
As a pilot, Vietnam is ALL I want. The napalm strikes and dumb firing bombs with modern jets is sublime. It’s like a modern battlefield game but with the primitive playstyle of the world war games that make the series fun! I’ve always thought the modern lock on technology was incredibly boring for a modern game, however I feel like there’s no as much you can do in the old styled games. Vietnam is a perfect mix of modern technology with world war strategy and playstyle and honestly... I just wanna napalm lmao.
If there is one thing that I hate about planes, by hitting a light pole at 30 mph your plane shouldn’t blow up, you should just have the plane crash like war thunder and have whatever parts hit it get damaged, this way, the animation for bailing actually has a point, you never get to use it anyways.
would love to know what people think to this idea for BF6; the game is based on a modernised version of BF4 in terms of the engine and gameplay, much like call of duty have done with modern warfare successfully, also utilising bigger more spread out maps as mentioned in the video. the key i believe is that the game should be freshened up with additions not before utilised by battlefield. a huge addition i believe could be added would be TEAM killstreaks. these dont work in the way that cod killstreaks work, an example of a team killstreak could be a Pavelow like helicopter HOWEVER it is completely manned by players much like a standard BF4 heli for example. the difference is that these team killstreaks will be triggered when a single player hits a high killstreak (i would prefer much higher than in cod games) and is prompted to call in the heli (example). the player could be given option to either be the pilot with missile capabilities or as a side gunner or to leave it for his team where it would spawn on a special heli pad like a normal heli where it would be first come first served. the heli as it is a killstreak would have special capabilites. my personal idea is that it would be unable to be locked onto by enemy misiles or launchers. it could only be taken out by c4/rpgs etc man used. this would mean it wouldnt be completely game changing in the way that cod killstreaks are (ie one player completely destroying a team with a chopper gunner) but would give a big advantage and a reward to a player that could affect the match. the side gunners also could be like standard BF4 mini guns but with FLIR/night vision as the miniguns were not OP but would be much more effective with this change. i also think it should be armored and have more health than a standard heli as it would become a big target. this is one example but many classic killstreaks could be modified to fit this none OP system that provides a rewarding team bonus. another thing i think they could utilise along side extensive gun customisation is of course a focus on non gimmicky, military realistic camos or gun model changes. whereas COD has used things like bright pink glowing camos i think unlockable special camos for example a 'white death' camo like that of finnish ww2 sniper simo hayha would be hugely rewarding unlockables and something that battlefield fans would love, along with gritty style gun varients etc. the final addition would be titles and emblems that match with the above theme. gritty, military themed titles and emblems that give the game the same playability as we likely all had with MW2, along with the freedom of BF4 and the randomness of good old battlefield i think this would work perfectly, without losing touch of what a battlefield game is, and without reverting back to recreating the same game as before. please let me know what you guys think :)
Modern for me (like BF4). As far as balancing.. just take the top 4 players on the winning team and switch them with the bottom 4 of the losers after each match. I don’t mind losing if I have hope to eventually have a opportunity to win. What sucks is being on a losing team for 10 straight games with no hope. This would keep each side from continued domination.
I would really love the Vietnam setting. But I also wanted to see many cold war conflicts and many struggle for indepence in the colonies as well. So yeah a cold war setting would be very nice imo. Imagine playing as a South African soldier or Cuban soldier in South African Border Conflict, the vast jungles of Rhodesia, Yom Kippur and Six Day War, French Indochina, Soviet Intervention in Afghanistan. With cold war conflicts DICE wouldn't have any PC problem to include female and black soldiers to their games unlike in BF V.
Maybe in the bias is that the people that care about the franchise are the one still playing this game and cares about answering a poll. Also the might only knew the historical game rather than the old BFs. I was not surprised, it is most in line with most of reddit of what I read.
Am I the only one who miss the battlelog? It was packed with more content than anyone asked for.. Sometimes you could just sit and klick around lost in time..
Well, vietnam war is part of cold war conflicts, so as u said next bf could start in vietnam and move with dlcs to the other theaters of war, that would be top notch
I didn't vote but I would choose Vietnam because there is a lot of modern games, futuristic games and alt history can be a weird area. There aren't that many Vietnam games out there compared to modern and futuristic games
I just want to be grounded, gritty and more REALISTIC. Not a mil-sim, but definitely not the arcady route taken with BF1 and more lile BF4 and BF3 in terms of looks and mechanics. This is the approach COD tool with MW and I’m loving it because I wanted Battlefield to do the same
I want my Abrums... I need my Abrums... But seriously I really want a revamped Modern era with increased levelution from what was demenstrated in BF4. I also want the maps to be bigger, maybe a giant city map or a island map like Wake but 3 times bigger and with more island hopping. I feel like they could take ranged combat to another level with snipers and tanks or close combat in a city by allowing a more advanced version of the destruction physics. Also please bring back manual artillery Dice
how about this : battlefield 6 will switch eras depending on wars, for example : you could have different story and multiplayer missions on different eras and different wars there should be a option to select the year on the menu and fight in the wars available in that year! ranging from 1960, vietnam to 2003 iraq or 90's balkan wars etc etc chechen wars and such
since they messed up bf v so badly the next bf should be modern with an additional Vietnam dlc either paid or for free with like 4-5 maps. And my god imagining the possible trailers for a vietnam bf :d
If it’s Vietnam they better put a taunt that says “John Wayne” probably like “John Wayne is this me” or “you call me john Wayne” and for the NV something like “G.I go home” or “This is not your fight G.I”. Doesn’t have to be really a taunt but like an audio that you get when you get like a 3 kill streak or maybe 5. This would add more feel to the game and maybe a few laughs. It’s just my idea.
Battlefield Vietnam needs to happen! Because when I got the DLC for BC2 no one was playing 😢 so I want a dope Vietnam story and some sick ass multiplayer.
If it's in Vietnam, they better get the rights for Fortunate Son!
they had it on battlefield bad company 2 vietnam
white rabbit

Same!
Jerod S thats so wrong. Its actually super difficult on PC, way more difficult and Ive played BF1 and BFV both on PC and Console each for 100+ hours

infinitsai sure pure aiming is easyer on PC but thats not important, playing and actually making kills is way more difficult because there are a LOT of really good players
The one that really surprised you was by far my least surprising one. Vietnam as a setting hasn't had the same exposure as WW2, modern warfare or futuristic titles. I'm shocked no one has jumped on this recently.
I think previously it would be hard to present jungle warfare because of graphical limitations which are now greatly reduced.
literally rising storm 2 on the ue3 did it
@General Grievous
Agree
I would love to play as in Vietnam it’s just that the only newer Vietnam war games are pc only
There was a rumor of the next bf game or atleast one of them being vietnam all the way back after bf1 released.
It would be better if the cosmetics looked more realistic and were affordable like the Base Cosmetics on BFV
Cosmetics in battlefield. What a joke. Only cosmetics i'll allow are the bf3 gun skins.
I preferred the BF1 style. no cosmetics except gun skins. and the gun skins werent crazy
@@tankadar I agree

Vehicle gameplay without assaults would be awesome.
Just add back the team switch option. I’ve had the same issue where I want to use something faction specific and it always puts me on the opposite team. So I in return have to leave a lot of match’s and matchmake until I get said team I want to be on.
@@yourcommoncriminal7024 they have a lot of Eastern front/ Africa tank only battles they can choose from
Lejend Dairy team switch is cheating
I said this before BFV launched and I’ll say it again. A live service most likely will not work for Battlefield. They need to lower the price of premium and make said expansions free after a certain period of time. Maybe whenever a new expansion comes out, the previous one is made free?
live service with premium battle pass is the answer. Imagine each expansion introduce new army/company which only premium players can customize how their look via exclusive comestic in the battle pass. And maybe some cherry on top like early access to new map. But still, every dlc map should all be free for every players
Maybe making it free and doing it live service with battle pass but without restricting gamemodes and key features ?
It can work if the people in charge aren't morons
Restricting content to players RUINED BF1 and split the fanbase, BF5 was a good step in the right direction. I think everyone should be able to play on all factions and all maps, but a paid battle pass could give cosmetics and other items to people who wanted to pay. But yeah...no paid DLC. I payed for the DLC in BF1, and it honestly wasn't worth it because nobody else wanted to pay for it.
I still play battlefield 4 because of this
Cold War... but above all, a game that works properly and is well supported would be a start ;)
The cold war would never be a game since it wasnt a real war. Just a bunch of fear and people testing bombs. Vietnam would be too much of the same. Island hopping which people can do on BF4 too in the south china sea.

If you haven’t caught on they are making history games leading up to modern time so the next game is gonna be vietnam
H Battlefield 1 was not a semi realistic battlefield at all. It was a fun game but you can’t say it’s realistic.
They can't cause if tank penetration was realistic then you could one hit tanks if you hit them right
BF4... and BF3...
Modern BF: New gadgets and weapons we’ve never used before.
WW/Vietnam BF: Same weapons from every other WW/Vietnam game, nothing *NEW.*
Modern would still have guns we have used in games not top many new guns have been adopted also Americans would still have abrams, humvees and Bradley's not much would be new unless they choose to include ratnick 4 or talos body armor systems
THIS
Muffin Man Exactly thats what i mean, we can add onto stuff we still use.
So you don't want to use m16a1's, m60's, AK's, and flamethrowers?
@@LS-qt9bo No modern better much much better than history
In the end, it's all about execution. Premium with solid content or live services with solid content will just work.
Animations that fit in the game flow, invulnerability in the right places.
Team balance, private servers with proper management tools. Letting go of the deathgrip of how players experience the game.
If Dice executes these things correctly the game will be great. But Dice as of now is cutting corners, only cares about their own bonuses, it's a hollow shell of s studio.
Just make premium cheaper
Dice makes great games its EA that fucks everything up
I wouldn't mind seeing the demographics of the votes. It honestly suprised me seeing these results. I don't know about you but i would assume most people want features to be similar to bf4.
Spent the most time playing Battlefield 4 and earlier games but that doesn't mean that everything in the game was good.
BF4 the best. I still find it the most satisfying game play. Play it still.
A bf4 game with the technical advancement and gameplay changes of bf5 would be a masterpiece
Mod tools would be nice...
Maybe the bad company days as well.
Lejend Dairy u can still do these things u just must be good
Lejend Dairy I have also been here since bf3 and the new animations in the game really have shown me a lot of you past battlefield players relied way too much on things like that smh.

And as for historical based games, you have a lot more freedom when it comes to smaller conflicts like Korea and Vietnam and even more with the whole “Cold War gone hot” speculation. They need to bring back the bfbc2 movement speed, made you feel like you actually were carrying a weapon system and all the ammo. The rest of them were way too arcade feeling. Slower movement speed, more hardcore damage model, different munition for AT weapons (frag, smoke, heat).

@@FlowerKnight2 it was called special forces I think, and I love the smaller map in it

- Team balancing
- Vietnam or Modern (or Cross Era)
- Premium = 20 maps or more
- I play BF for the multiplayer

*THE COLD WAR*
Would love to see The Cold War Era at it's prime in Battlefield, that being the 1980s.
TheAverageSushi I would like to see cold war from 1947 to 1980s
Too many cold war Battlefields out there. Cold war is boring and a fictive scenario that never happened.
While it can be a very cool concept, I think it is a rather niche market.
@@AzuraProductions that is very true, especially in our day and age

As a lone wolf I really like attrition. I like having to fight to keep myself supplied, and it's really immersive to begin _dying_ before the final bullet lands, knowing I'm running out of medical supplies, as the end becomes near.
Only major infantry gameplay changes I'd make from BFV style as it is currently is that shotguns should have much longer lethal range, like in Battlefield 3 and 4, and the slide should be removed.

The Korean War would be something actually untold, not handicapped British female WWII soldier “untold.”
Battlefield 6 should have a map editor where we can make our own maps
Thanks, Azure! Very interesting results!
Vietnam was a very complex war so I would indeed prefer it as the next Battlefield game. Modern war can be interesting but I feel like it’s seen almost everywhere. It’s good to have some variety here and there.
Also your gameplay is really satisfying lol
Modern is generic. Vietnam fps has a special feeling and one made by Dice has the potential to be even better then. BF1 or BF4
Who cares, leave it in there. Makes you feel like you're in a battlefield and actually trying to escape. You die, you die simple.
Matty G A lot of people care and it’s a game. Immersive features are nice but there is a extent where they get annoying. If you want it to feel like an authentic, deeply immersive Battlefield, there are games like Arma, Hell Let Loose, verdin, etc that are very realistic for gaming standards.

Sungleplayer could be like the bf 1942 singleplayer (mission).
The behemoths in BF1 were insanely fun. They should bring those back.
the kind of DLC i think would work alright is the maps are free for download while some weapons and gadgets are paid so everyone can play on every map but don't have all the weapons and maybe also a bit of a live content for cosmetics
with the attrition i think the health system should be adjusted with i can heal fully but the start of healing starts after a long time and the healing is slow and if i use a health pouch i use it the second i use it and it's rapid there's also a 35% of bleeding from the bullets and any fragmentation recieved so the health pouch needs to be bandaged around the arms and body to stop the bleeding which would kill if not treated
The way DICE has been lately, we better ask them the opposite we want, so they can give us what we want
The only battlefield game I want is vietnam and after that they should let dice focus on the battlefront series and put battlefield to rest
If there is one thing that I hate about planes, by hitting a light pole at 30 mph your plane shouldn’t blow up, you should just have the plane crash like war thunder and have whatever parts hit it get damaged, this way, the animation for bailing actually has a point, you never get to use it anyways.
would love to know what people think to this idea for BF6;
the game is based on a modernised version of BF4 in terms of the engine and gameplay, much like call of duty have done with modern warfare successfully, also utilising bigger more spread out maps as mentioned in the video. the key i believe is that the game should be freshened up with additions not before utilised by battlefield. a huge addition i believe could be added would be TEAM killstreaks.
these dont work in the way that cod killstreaks work, an example of a team killstreak could be a Pavelow like helicopter HOWEVER it is completely manned by players much like a standard BF4 heli for example. the difference is that these team killstreaks will be triggered when a single player hits a high killstreak (i would prefer much higher than in cod games) and is prompted to call in the heli (example). the player could be given option to either be the pilot with missile capabilities or as a side gunner or to leave it for his team where it would spawn on a special heli pad like a normal heli where it would be first come first served. the heli as it is a killstreak would have special capabilites. my personal idea is that it would be unable to be locked onto by enemy misiles or launchers. it could only be taken out by c4/rpgs etc man used. this would mean it wouldnt be completely game changing in the way that cod killstreaks are (ie one player completely destroying a team with a chopper gunner) but would give a big advantage and a reward to a player that could affect the match. the side gunners also could be like standard BF4 mini guns but with FLIR/night vision as the miniguns were not OP but would be much more effective with this change. i also think it should be armored and have more health than a standard heli as it would become a big target. this is one example but many classic killstreaks could be modified to fit this none OP system that provides a rewarding team bonus.
another thing i think they could utilise along side extensive gun customisation is of course a focus on non gimmicky, military realistic camos or gun model changes. whereas COD has used things like bright pink glowing camos i think unlockable special camos for example a 'white death' camo like that of finnish ww2 sniper simo hayha would be hugely rewarding unlockables and something that battlefield fans would love, along with gritty style gun varients etc.
the final addition would be titles and emblems that match with the above theme. gritty, military themed titles and emblems that give the game the same playability as we likely all had with MW2, along with the freedom of BF4 and the randomness of good old battlefield i think this would work perfectly, without losing touch of what a battlefield game is, and without reverting back to recreating the same game as before. please let me know what you guys think :)
I want either Battlefield 4 Final Stand's sequel (2030s/Near-Future) or Cold War goes hot (think of World In Conflict)
Dice’s Mentality for Battlefield V Community- “Can you fix the bugs plaguing the game?” DICE- “No but how about a new bundle in the armory?”
Your on your way to becoming a Game changer. Also, amazing clips in the background!!! More of that please Azura
He's way closer to being a Game Changer than you think...
2:20 With the system in BFV I am able to go on very long streaks without running out of ammo. Can't say the same about BF4.
Man Vietnam warfare would be pretty fun, flying an F4 Phantom, or a Cobra attack heli could be epico
Just a reminder everyone should get hyped about '83 by tripwire interactive.
This is the approach COD tool with MW and I’m loving it because I wanted Battlefield to do the same
If they make a Vietnam bf game they should make spike traps a part of the maps so you have to watch your foot. That would be cool, right?
Cold war would be cool, we're gonna have many factions around the world. Even Africa
I want more customization options for your soldier like helmet and body armour
I would love a battlefield set in Vietnam. There aren’t many games that cover this apart from Rising Storm 2:Vietnam
@Starvin Marvin im shaking at the prospect of how cool you are
Battlefield Vietnam needs to happen! Because when I got the DLC for BC2 no one was playing 😢 so I want a dope Vietnam story and some sick ass multiplayer.
