We had the New PS5/PC Ultimate controller sent out to us by HexController to do a review and today we open this bad boy up! Thanks to them for the support!
its a 200 to 300+ dollar controller it really better be the best controller i ever used in my life. Its more expensive than a specialized arcade stick. I can see why the website list them as esports controllers because even the average competitive gamer isn't going to buy this. Does it have a warranty? How protected is the user if it just conks out after 90 days
6 months warranty and u also have to put in to factor tht it’s one of 3 companies Thts sell ps5 controllers at high quality and the other two options are the same price (aim and scuff) and it is the best ps5 controller is my Opinion
@@darnelllorenz8492 yea but if u don’t feel comfortable building it yourself then u can just buy it I’ve done both build and buy one the bought controller is 10 times better
I'll stick with may Xbox Elite controller. I personally love the paddle configuration. To me the Xbox Elite controller one of the best out there. I tried a Scuf builder and after I got it the way I wanted it it was 380+ if I remember correctly.
I love the elite series 2 paddle layout, but my a button started acting up and left stick is drifting after a couple years. Someone needs to make a controller with the same paddle layout and hall effect sticks.
I went with Defy Gaming. Hair triggers/bumpers, interchangeable thumbsticks, mouse click face buttons and 4 remappable paddles. For $200 with expedited build and shipping too.
I feel that hexgaming is definitely over priced, of course most pro controllers are, but $260-$280 is wild. Hexgamimg goes through extreme rate and uses extremerate parts, which I've never had problems with and have been using extremerate kits/parts for the last 3-4 years. You can build and fully kit out a PS5 controller for around $230, that includes controller, mouse click face buttons and mouse click triggers, paddles, custom color face buttons and triggers, 4 separate buttons for ur dpad instead of one button with 4 separate spots, a custom color front shell and little bottom spot of the front shell, and interchangeable analogue sticks. But all in all, having it built for u for an extra $40-$60 can save a big headache
200 bucks? Greedy company. They got this one manufactured in China for $5. No way I'm going to support this. I'll wait for Splitfish to get the PS5 license. The controller was great on my PS4, mappable and just 100 bucks.
that is technically a 2 paddle controller, the middle buttons don't make sense and looks uncomfortable af to use. Better go with Battle Beavers or better yet AimControllers with the real 4 paddles in the back
Lol Sony slacking, they released the p4 back button at the end of The ps4 life cycle and completely disregarded The ps5 version at launch and post launch
Using a tall stick on the left analog stick isn't helping u at all, the taller sticks traverse's more than a short stick. Good for right stick because u have more control and u can use a higher sens but using it on the left stick would slow ur movement down
Is this controller for the PS5? I would love to have a controller for TD2 but I´m not sure if the additional buttons are programmable. Furthermore I would like to know how this controller will be recharged?
270$ FFS! It's controller, It never lasts and going to brake some day... 270 is way too much... Well I got Astro c40 but u get spare parts eeezy... Still prefer my old Raiju, just a pit stick drift but u can get it disappear with small deadzone adjust 👍
@@NothingButSkillz about 200 and already my limit for controller... Wasnt as good I expected tho and hope to have ps5 firmware update but havent seen like rumors was...
I need a ps5 controller with similar paddles to the Xbox elite controller. I love that thing but don't touch the Xbox anymore im all Sony now, and really miss my paddles. I can't justify spending 300+ on a controller though. These companies should really strive to keep it under 250 they would deffinitly sell more of them if they could.
@@NothingButSkillz Have to say your vids on Division have been ESSENTIAL to me and my friends maximising our enjoyment of the game for years and we cant thank you enough for all the work.

They are so good that they come with a 6 month warranty, lol

This same controller with same parts can be built for $150 through extreme rates parts on Amazon

Truer words have never been spoken...
Sticks are too loose on both elites. Better off just using the stock series x controller and slapping one of these on and saving a bunch of money.

Will this work on the Division 2?
yes
the new ps5 controller looking kinda thicc
oh yes! lol
Man, I'll just use my standard PS5 controller😄
good choice
Looks great. But not on Amazon UK. Disappointed!!! Oh wait. Only 6 months warranty!? Not disappointed anymore! Phew!

Is this a new test channel to be renamed "Nothingbutshillz? I'd subscribe to that!
Your the Jedi, great info, on point. Still can't find your clan, help!
i don't have anyone in my clan bro
HeX and scuff are weird placements for the 4 paddles maybe the hex is for the big size hands

I was in ready to order till I heard price, don't need that to play competitive!! Much cheaper out there lads
over $300 for an controller I think not!
way to costly
A joke lol
Really nice 👌 but waiting for Scuf reflex to come available for UK
Will I be able to take the back buttons behind the controller off
200 bucks?

How are the joysticks? Offer enough grip?
I like them sometimes I add kontrol freek on top of them
Waiting for PlayStation to release a attachable back button for p5 , 😭
Yea me too I don’t wanna spend 200-400 bucks for a controller that only reason I’d want it is the back buttons.
I’m not sure why they haven’t made their own elite controller
Lol Sony slacking, they released the p4 back button at the end of

Be nice if they shipped out side of USA , I’d rather buy direct not for over priced store here
Just a extremrate build by Hex? Do it yourself?
Don't door camp me again lol GGz

Okay
Im glad to see you get some sponsor action but no thanks. :)

Yes it’s a ps5 controller
Plug it in just like a ps5 controller
thx for the feedback.... do you have experiencies about The Division 2 and the usage of this controller?
It's a shame they're charging so much for this controller
Yeah all these controllers are up there now
I like my Aim controller better tbh, Paddle Placement is perfect!
Bro I'll bite what's up wit the PC controller

Needs 6 face buttons. Not ultimate enough.
lol
Dude these are 250 bucks. For a controller. My thumbs arent worth 250 bucks.
Lol
