  • The European Commission has recommended disciplinary action against France, as well as Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Malta, Slovakia and Poland, for running excessive budget deficits.
The EU's Maastricht treaty requires member states to keep public debt below 60 percent and deficits below 3 percent of GDP. Plus, Nvidia has overtaken Microsoft to become the world's most valuable company, with $3.3 trillion in market capitalisation.

Countries over 60% debt to GDP shouldn't have a deficit at all. Italy with one of the highest debts should be quarantained economically like Greece for having a 7.2% deficit as the highest in the EU again. Germany even lost the Nord Stream and kept there deficit low.
Congrats Germany from the Netherlands, well done.'
We will make our own EU when this all falls apart. Let those failing nations go.

Do not let emotions drive your investment decisions. Fear and greed can lead to poor decision-making. Stick to your investment plan and remain disciplined.

Italy had a deficit of 7.2% with one of the highest debt to GDP and after my country the Netherlands and others saved them with free loans from collapse. Malta has as debt to GDP of 52% and the 60% is the number to strive for, so they can run a higher deficit. Italy and France can't. They should be on a budget surplus.
Italy and France are big economy's too, so the deficit in Billions is higher too. They should be economically quarantained like Greece in 2008. Sell some o France and Italy's assets and end their universal healthcare immediatly.
Which one do you want in Malta? Airbus France or Lamborghini and Ferrari?

@@Joey-ct8bm airbus France would be best. We don't really have anywhere proper to enjoy driving fancy cars here, too small and congested.

@@kwalelalipimile3894 not yet but this government is obsessed with sensationalising and sugar coating things to make it seem that they are the best. In the meantime things are rotting from inside and when you are smart enough to scratch the surface, you can see it.

This is good news, as one day Europe will have to allow people a vote to legalise weed to bring those taxes into the economy 😁👍
