Wow, what an unbelievable finale!!! Absolutely enjoyed this episode, yes there were some things that seemed a little rushed and some story issues that seemed a little incomplete, but overall we got the biggest reunion we wanted!!! Yes we want that reunion with Daryl and others, but having them reunite with Judith and RJ was huge!! Let us know what you thought!
I gotta tell you, as a hard die fan of this show the finale was ok, but they definitely rush the ending especially with The CRM, i'm glad Rick got to reunited with Judith and RJ was it the reunion i was looking for? No lol but when i see Rick and Daryl reunite that's when i'm gonna cry hard and i need a good 10 minutes scene with just them talking everything Daryl did to find his Brother!
This show gave me exactly what I wanted. Rick & Michonne getting the happily ever after ending they DESERVED and EARNED dealing with what they’ve both gone through this entire series. I’m so thankful to Andy & Danai for returning to give us a satisfying conclusion to their characters. The CRM was a plot device used to create friction and it served its purpose. Hopefully this isn’t the end for the Grimes Family but if it is I’m super happy with what we got ❤
The question remains what about the planned crossover show, who could be the enemy with CRM now being good and allied with the commonwealth, I don't see anyone being able to pose a thread to both, except maybe the french group.
I truly cried. The way Rick waited behind Michonne to be united with his children made cry! This was just the best ending ever expected. This was what this season was about... Michonne uniting with Rick and bringing him home to his children.❤❤❤
I think is kinda dissapointing... like... they been telling us the CRM was going to be the biggest enemy in the whole twd universe... and got destroyed in only one episode?? For real? I mean... 500 year plan to rebuild the world, the biggest military on the planet, managed to keep Rick Grimes locked in for 8 years and got wiped out in only ONE episode just because "Rick and Michonne together can do anything"? Like it seemed so unreallistic that in one episode they returned to cascadia base and were able to kill Beale, Thorne, the whole CRM army and military, make the civic republic and portland find out about the true evil intentions of the CRM and at the end returning safe and sound to Judith and RJ who were specifically there waiting for them to land? In only one episode. I mean i understand they wanted to give it and end and not make a season 2 or make movies, and give us the happy ending we wanted. But i feel it was at the very least... rushed. Like they made us thought Beale was the biggest menace of the whole universe... and he appeared less than Gareth, and was much easier to kill... then kill Thorne and the whole of the CRM in the same episode... it just seems odd to me, like, we got the ending we wanted, but way too soon, like everything went perfect and as planned for the first time in their lifes... in only one episode, when there were like 3 episodes which their point was Michonne trying to gain back the Rick Grimes she once knew. They spent a whole episode chasing Jadis so in the end she died, but in only one episode they wiped out the whole CRM, saved portland and told everyone the CRM was evil, killed Pearl Thorne, killed Beale, AND returned to their children all in an one hour lapsus?? I would feel like an idiot if i was with the endlings on the world beyond since their whole objective was doing the thing Rick and Michonne did in only ONE episode, and they couldn't do it on an entire season. Like... the world beyond was supposed to teach us about how dangerous the CRM, Jadis and Beale actually were... and they just ended them in one episode, very similar with what game of thrones did to the long night. It was cute and sad at the same time. Him standing in the background like a lost friend. I wanted Judith to run to him first. Killing himself to get back to them and he had to wait in line for a hug lol. But it was still awesome to see.
I think the reason Rick killed General Beal so quickly was because of the wasted opportunity he had to kill the Governor that could have saved many lives especially Hershall's, and Rick regretted it for a long time. So I think Rick killing Beal was in a way , coming full circle. Although rushed, It was a beautiful ending. I can't wait for the crossovers. You guys are awesome to watch! See you when the Daryl Dixon and Negan shows comes back.
What I takeaway about Thorne overall is that she really wasn’t the A that Okafore thought she might be. She was more B, and she fell in line with Echelon Briefing out of fear and hopeless more than anything. At the end, in her moment of death, she realizes what Okafor was saying all long. And I think that’s a big part of her deathbed realization and why she handed Rick her gasmask at the end. In the grand scheme, that’s why Beale didn’t want any A’s; only Bs. Even the fighters who all made it to the front liner and higher ranks, we’re all capable, Bs, towing the company line.

I would argue they were taken down over 8 years. Sleeper agent Grimes infiltrated the CRM and attacked at the optimal time. When the higher ups were all brought together.

I think this was a good finale. They can always start it up again down the line. Important thing is Rick got closure to his story. Honestly I feel like there is more story to tell. But that doesn't mean we need it.

That ending just hit different and I think it was a satisfying, good conclusion to the Grimes family story. People who have watched this show in its entirety from the beginning know how much these characters have been through. The moment between judith and rick was something everyone wanted to see and it was awesome. The journey made the emotions really come out in that moment. During episode 5 I didn’t know if they could finish it in 1 more episode but I guess they did it for the most part. Good series and would like to see a reunion with Daryl/Carol/others in the future.
Watched it from day one. I have lost my family many many loved ones and the fantasy world it created for me was better than a grief counselor at times. With the story being about loss it helped so much.
This was a story about Rick and michonne over coming overwhelming odds to make it back together and back home to their family. The overwhelming odds were the CRM. So while yes it was rushed a bit defeating them but it makes sense given the context of the over arching themes. It’s a love story and they told a love story. Overall it was an amazing story and amazing finale and I’m so glad to have experienced it all ❤

This whole season is about Rick and Michonne and the reunion with the kids. Everything else is secondary. Whenever they had past reunion with others they ultimately separate and go their own way. This is a beautiful end to this chapter of the walking dead. There is a difference between surviving and living. Love, faith and hope is the sword of life that cuts through the darkest of times.
Omgosh I keep hearing the same old complaint! Please, explain to me how there could be an Nsync reunion with Rick and boys in SIX episodes???? How??????????? Let's remember it was ONLY going to be a MOVIE! But we got a LIMITED series. Those are usually less than 10 episodes. And for giggles lets say we got 10 episodes. How is e *veryone who are spread* out around the world...Daryl is in PARIS! Even if they did 10 episodes, how would that be mapped out, written properly so it makes sense and not just shoved in where we would get everyone one found and back together?? Smh It boggles my mind that so many ppl actually thought in SIX episodes it was going to be like a Fast and Furious sitting around the table and Dom (Rick) toasting to family LOL. I'm sorry to be sarcastic but seriously how did any of you think that was possible in SIX episodes?!!! This was NEVER about a reunion for Rick and the boys it wasn't. I never expected that at all and it's probably why I'm not complaining like I see so many ppl doing. *It was ALL about RICK AND MACHONNE.* Period. And in six episodes that's exactly what we got. Rick's *reunion* with his *wife and children.* If they never do another season I would not care at all. Do I want Rick and the others coming back together sure but if it doesn't happen I'm good. I got what I wanted from this, Rick and Machoone, together with their children. The. End. I'm not disappointed because they told us that's what the show was going to be about and I listened and didn't write my own fanfic script in my head. Danai, Andrew, Gimple, etc. *They told us repeatedly* what the show was going to be. Some weren't listening and clearly many of you had your own scripts and fanfic going on and when you didn't get it got mad LOL. No one said to put such high expectations on a limited SIX episode program. They can only do so much in SIX episodes and they did exactly what they have been telling us for almost two years. Never once was it mentioned that Rick would see EVERYONE, never. From the beginning they told us it was about Machonne finding Rick and guess what? That's what we got. Just, wow LOL.
Although people are going to point out some flaws, and I can understand some, I absolutely loved this show and finale, and got the reunion I wanted. The ending was amazing, now we just need Rick and Daryl back together🙏🏼
It was great, and it did have some flaws, but overall the series was a masterpiece. My favorite episode was four, because it's a love story, and it had a lot of raw emotions and layers.
Fucking flawless. 100% the best thing we could have gotten. I kept waiting for Carol to come running out of the woods yelling Rick!!!! That is the only thing that I would have wanted.
Michonne found the dossier so fast because she recognized that wired cat , that wired cat made an appearance a couple times in the Original , once at jadis junkyard that Rick gave michonne and the other time michonne found a diff colored one in a house and gave it to Carl….

That's what I saw someone say last night. That the last time we saw Gabriel in episode 5 with the helicopter flying over him, that wasn't Jadis coming, that was Rick and Michonne coming home.
i feel like people are forgetting this is a rick and michonne story and about how they become a family again and not a walking dead show about the universe
The CRM is still important to the story tho obviously it was about Rick and Michonne but villains matter to the story as well other wise what was the point of building them up for so many years I still enjoyed the episode overall but it was definitely rushed

The Walking Dead original show and story is officially complete. This was the true ending. Everything else is basically TWD2. Thank you for giving us a satisfying ending to this long running show
Whatever comes next for the franchise is a bonus at this point. Rick got home and that’s all that matters. No Daryl’s gotta find his own way and come back.
When Carol was speaking with Daryl over the radio, she was too nonchalant... if Rick had returned, her tone would've been a lot different and she wouldn't of said, "pretty quiet here."
Or maybe Carol wanted daryl back and was guna let it be a surprise but daryl weren't coming back so she decided to say over walkie and then never heard back from daryl again leading her into season 2 maybe that wil be the end of daryl season and somehow a reunion like Judith and rj happen
I’m still of the opinion Richonne returned home as out the time Carol has just left searching for Daryl. And that she had been mentioning Morgan, or Dwight returning. And so after Daryl/Carol get home, they’ll see Rick there - whether it’s S2 or S3 ending.
This is about Rick and Michonne … and reuniting with their kids. I can care less about Darryl reuniting with Rick. I don’t think Rick is in a hurry to reunite with Darryl either, or Maggie. It was the two that conspired to betray Rick resulting in this situation…. Being separated from his family. But that’s me I guess, real bitter. But this whole series was everything, especially the ending. Beautiful. What was real beautiful was watching you two crying. Love it. LOve your reactions.
I guess in my dreams, Rick would've walked into the community and everybody would've just freaked out. I wanted to see the shock and joy on everyone's faces. I would've loved to see him just tackled with hugs. Lord knows I'll take what I can get though...lol
I equate this series as a chapter in TWD novel...these 6 episodes is pretty much the Book of Richonne/Grimes Family story and now their chapter is complete. They've left the door open for other "chapters" like The Return of Rick where the community has a chance to wig out and greet him.

I agree with others on here, sad the series is ending but they did keep warning us. Once Rick and Michonne got together they would be unstoppable. They couldn't just let them get taken out by the CRM or have to keep in fighting them for a next season. They were warning us this would just be one season, I think. But I would have gladly watched a second season. Great series! 👏🏾👏🏾
@nocbronation NO!!! Expanding the CRM in this series wasn’t the goal which is why pivotal characters were killed off!! Richonnes reuniting & with their kids was the purpose! More CRM info is a door for future series! TOWL did a phenomenal job!!
In the first episode Okafur told us that everyone in the military doesn’t know the full plan of the CRM. Only a few upper eschalon (😉) knows. They know more than 90% of the rest of the troops. The troops, being a secret, know more than 100% of the Republic at large. Also, Andy, Danai, and Scott said that these 6 episode / 1 season miniseries is Rick & Michonne’s Epic Love Story. Not *and Daryl*. Daryl’s story could conceivably be considered a The Ones Who Live continuation. He is One Who Lives. Rick and Michonne’s story is complete. Maybe they’ll come back for a Total End Of Series Endgame Wrap Up, but if I don’t see the Grimes Family again until that happens, this fed me and filled my soul.

This was the best of the spinoffs hands down! What a beautiful ending. Yes, I would have liked to see more characters but since they no longer have access to the Alexandria set, they couldn't have done that. Either way, it was amazing.
The writers came up with the best scenario on just how to take down the CRM. If there are only two people, how would you go about doing It? And I think that they came up with the best solution and Rick and Michonne executed the plan perfectly. I now see why Danai got the role of Okeye on Black Panther. This was a good episode and the only people disappointed were the ones who wanted more Beale. And the ones who had built up this big show down in their heads. Not understanding, that works only if you have more people with you. Rick and Michonne did it the way two people sent in to infiltrate an army would do it. My thoughts on what will happen if there is a S2. They let us know that Morgan is going to find Rick. I don't think they did that for nothing. They let us know that they take children from communities they plan to destroy, and embedded spies in every community and City across the entire US continent and the World. Is Beale's son Mason embedded in one of the TWD communities? is he at the Commonwealth? Will he take back what they took from his father, and will Richonne's children be in danger? This was a great episode
Guys, im a 56 year old man, when i saw Judith i just lost it, i became a sobbing mess. it was one of the most emotional moments ive had watching a show. The expression by Caley Fleming was so real. Just brilliant.
What I did'nt like was to save himself from the walker hoarde, Rick blows himself up with the grenade, but than magically emerges unscathed. This was to well written of a series. They didn't have to do that.
They've been cagey about an actual S2, but I think it leaves it open for them to pop into the other series. Esp since Beale said that they're global. And since the other two spin offs are currently dealing with expanded communities and villians, it leaves it open for Rick and Michonne to possibly show up within those other spin offs too. I don't think they're done with them yet. Hope Not 🙂
I know a lot of people on twitter are complaining that this was just fan fiction and sucked but that’s what Danai and Andrew wanted was finish this story for the fans. So many are theorizing about different things. Like Lance was a plant. Which seems very likely. Some people are saying Heath was a plant. He dropped the PPP card. There’s still so many questions but I still enjoyed it. I just wish they could’ve filmed a reunion AT Alexandria with EVERYONE. That’s my only big disappointment. But Rick needed a solo moment with his kids.
You guys had a much more positive response to this finale from what I've seen so far, and I love that! It helped me see the good in the episode as well! Of course, I would have wanted maybe 2 more episodes to really slow the pacing down a bit and flesh out the reunion/future a bit more, but I am, overall, grateful for the story we got over the last 6 weeks. Much love to Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Scott Gimple for coming together to give us this show!
Thorne was a soldier before CRM found and took her. Military background. I think the minute the she got the briefing, her soldier mentality came full throttle. She wanted to be to fight, she didn't have the level of love and community like Rick did.
Sure there could have been more to the CRM but I don't really care for me it was always about Rick getting back to Judith As a father, heart is so full. Amazing Show!
I think the point was to cut the head off of the snake. We all know just because Beale is dead, doesn't mean all his sheep are going to go along with the changes. That leaves the door open still for future CRM content.
So glad that they did not go with the initial plan of making three Rick movies! Six one hour episodes was more digestible! Well done! All the dots were connected! What next?
i think a substantial part of the fandom built this up to more than what it was.. and what it was is a nice little epilogue to rick and michonne's characters. nothing more. the whole crm/thanos-level cross-over thing.. i think thats dead in the water, frankly. gimple can say he wants that all he wants, but he's not the one calling the shots here - its basically the actors at this point.. and a decade and a half is a hell of long time doing the same shit. besides.. i have some trouble visualizing the actors now headlining their own shows willingly walking away from that for another huge ensemble piece - sorry if that hurts some of y'all, but thats just how i see it. and many of them arent getting any younger at this point either. but.. and this is the good news, at least - while rick and michonne might be done being "big characters" and headliners.. it's almost inevitable that one, or both, of them will play into the final few episodes of the daryl dixon show.
I wonder whether Portland and the CR will see/know Rick and Michonne as heroes for having prevented the Portland massacre, the supply drops at the end may indicate rewards for it.
Writing this before ive fully watched the reaction, but i am soooo pumped to see yalls reaction to this ep. I liked it, but think its become divided w fans concerning certain issues & how it seemed to be like a rushed ending. However, i personally enjoyed it & i am holding out a little hope that we will still see Rick again atvthe end of the Daryl series & get their reunion for that shows finale. I think it would work out really good that way since this series focused on their love & kids. Daryl & Ricks reunion can be Daryls perfect ending.❤💞❤️

The first time I watched it I cried my eyes out but still wanted more. I think they done these episodes so well that they left us wanting so much more but also satisfied in the end. I felt like they told the story they needed to tell and they answered what we needed
that was insane!! i fuckin screamed and slapped my hands so hard when those intense parts were happenin and i was scared someone would die. and that ending fuckin made me cryyyy. it was sooo good!!
I was amused when I realized that The CRM tried to pull a Padre with the kids. I found it interesting with the parallel of Negan's incarceration to Alexandria and Rick's incarceration to the CRM. Thorne's attempt to shooting Okafor in the head, leading up to the scar on his head. Jadis' attempt to shooting Rick where it grazes his head like Okafor. Sucks that we will not be able to witness the expression on Rick and Michonne's face once they learn of Judith almost dying from being shot by Pamela Milton.
Imagine the Daryl Dixon show, Book of Carol start with Rick and Michonne meeting up with Carol at the commonwealth, and then the viewers hearing the full extent of Carols radio call to Daryl saying “Rick is Back” does anyone know when the Daryl Dixon show starts up?
Are we supposed to believe that Judith and RJ went out alone to meet up with Rick and Michonne? Surely they would have had someone go with them. I don’t think they would have let them go alone.
Overall I thought this was a great series and conclusion to Rick and Michonne’s love story. Of course it’s not perfect but we got Rick reunited with Michonne and Rick finally making it home to Judith and RJ. It focused on Rick and Michonne as it should and not on other characters. Happy ending 👍
This is a gift to us from them. For our support for our love of the story. If people whine on now I have one thing to say. Go Snot yourself and be grateful we have some of the best if not the best actors ever who love their fans as much as we love them. (Not in a weird creepy way!!)
What if Carol goes to France to bring Daryl home because she knows Rick is back? If so, at the end of season 2 (or however how many seasons the show gets) maybe we'll get a reunion between Rick and Daryl and maybe with other people too. World Beyond went into the scientist/lab portion of the CRM The Ones Who Live went into the military portion of the CRM So yeah we never really got an overall view of the CRM, just 2 sections of it. There is a ton of CRM soldiers who did not believe in what Beale did and never got that briefing. I have Twitter notifications on for the official TWD account and some big fans and cleared each one from my screen without reading it because I did not want any spoilers. Beale said he gave his Echelon Briefing 2533 times. I believe that's how many soldiers were at the summit or close to it since both Rick and Michonne took out at least 1 before the big boom. They were just taking out certain kids, ones they believed could help make Beale's version of the world better. Everyone else got bombed and those leftover kids got stuffed bunnies to make them feel better. I love that John Locke said make me a walker! I believe that what Rick and Michonne ended up doing, bombing all of those soldiers and taking out Beale, that's what he wanted Rick to do this whole time. That he didn't believe Beale's speech either, but was able to get through the "test". Every time I've seen the ending, which is 3 or 4 times now, I have cried. I absolutely LOVE that Cailey Fleming and Antony Azor were able to reprise their roles as Judith and RJ.

The finale opens the door to more adventures....remember Daryl is dealing with a foreign powers AND mutant/experimental zombies and a possible cure with Laurent. I watched Dixon again and the possibilities are CRAZY!!!! Dixon gonna need some help and Carol...not to mention the rise of Negan happening and we still have hidden scientist holed up near NY still trying to find a cure....how knows.
I believe Thorn was trying so hard to believe CRM was saving the world. Because she left her loved one and gave up, she desperately wanted it to be for something worth giving up!
Guys, don't be so sure about there not being a season 2. Danai and Gimple keep getting asked about it, and they keep saying they can't answer that question. So, that's pretty telling if you ask me.

This one was for the Fans and they did not let us Richonners down. An epic love story was told and a family reunited. The way I ugly cried when i saw Judith and RJ running towards their parents was everything. I appreciate you alls sincerity and videos!!!

The show was executed and ended beautifully ❤ I agree with some fans that the CRM was secondary and that only the small % they took out were the crazy ones. The Civic Republic was alerted to what was really happening and are trying to work on preventing something like that again. It’s not Rick and Michonne’s job to take over the CR. They were able to take out the small % while ultimately the whole purpose was reuniting and going home. I’m happy there is no season 2. ❤❤❤❤ Now, if RJ and Judith are in future spin-offs, I want RJ (in addition to his parents’ training) to be training with Elijah and Judith to grow and fall in love with Laurent from Daryl’s show!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

I gotta tell you, as a hard die fan of this show the finale was ok, but they definitely rush the ending especially with The CRM, i'm glad Rick got to reunited with Judith and RJ was it the reunion i was looking for? No lol but when i see Rick and Daryl reunite that's when i'm gonna cry hard and i need a good 10 minutes scene with just them talking everything Daryl did to find his Brother!

This show gave me exactly what I wanted. Rick & Michonne getting the happily ever after ending they DESERVED and EARNED dealing with what they’ve both gone through this entire series. I’m so thankful to Andy & Danai for returning to give us a satisfying conclusion to their characters. The CRM was a plot device used to create friction and it served its purpose. Hopefully this isn’t the end for the Grimes Family but if it is I’m super happy with what we got ❤

The question remains what about the planned crossover show, who could be the enemy with CRM now being good and allied with the commonwealth, I don't see anyone being able to pose a thread to both, except maybe the french group.
I truly cried. The way Rick waited behind Michonne to be united with his children made cry! This was just the best ending ever expected. This was what this season was about... Michonne uniting with Rick and bringing him home to his children.❤❤❤

I think is kinda dissapointing... like... they been telling us the CRM was going to be the biggest enemy in the whole twd universe... and got destroyed in only one episode?? For real? I mean... 500 year plan to rebuild the world, the biggest military on the planet, managed to keep Rick Grimes locked in for 8 years and got wiped out in only ONE episode just because "Rick and Michonne together can do anything"? Like it seemed so unreallistic that in one episode they returned to cascadia base and were able to kill Beale, Thorne, the whole CRM army and military, make the civic republic and portland find out about the true evil intentions of the CRM and at the end returning safe and sound to Judith and RJ who were specifically there waiting for them to land? In only one episode. I mean i understand they wanted to give it and end and not make a season 2 or make movies, and give us the happy ending we wanted. But i feel it was at the very least... rushed. Like they made us thought Beale was the biggest menace of the whole universe... and he appeared less than Gareth, and was much easier to kill... then kill Thorne and the whole of the CRM in the same episode... it just seems odd to me, like, we got the ending we wanted, but way too soon, like everything went perfect and as planned for the first time in their lifes... in only one episode, when there were like 3 episodes which their point was Michonne trying to gain back the Rick Grimes she once knew. They spent a whole episode chasing Jadis so in the end she died, but in only one episode they wiped out the whole CRM, saved portland and told everyone the CRM was evil, killed Pearl Thorne, killed Beale, AND returned to their children all in an one hour lapsus?? I would feel like an idiot if i was with the endlings on the world beyond since their whole objective was doing the thing Rick and Michonne did in only ONE episode, and they couldn't do it on an entire season. Like... the world beyond was supposed to teach us about how dangerous the CRM, Jadis and Beale actually were... and they just ended them in one episode, very similar with what game of thrones did to the long night. It was cute and sad at the same time. Him standing in the background like a lost friend. I wanted Judith to run to him first. Killing himself to get back to them and he had to wait in line for a hug lol. But it was still awesome to see.

I think the reason Rick killed General Beal so quickly was because of the wasted opportunity he had to kill the Governor that could have saved many lives especially Hershall's, and Rick regretted it for a long time. So I think Rick killing Beal was in a way , coming full circle. Although rushed, It was a beautiful ending. I can't wait for the crossovers. You guys are awesome to watch! See you when the Daryl Dixon and Negan shows comes back.
What I takeaway about Thorne overall is that she really wasn’t the A that Okafore thought she might be. She was more B, and she fell in line with Echelon Briefing out of fear and hopeless more than anything. At the end, in her moment of death, she realizes what Okafor was saying all long. And I think that’s a big part of her deathbed realization and why she handed Rick her gasmask at the end. In the grand scheme, that’s why Beale didn’t want any A’s; only Bs. Even the fighters who all made it to the front liner and higher ranks, we’re all capable, Bs, towing the company line.
I believe that Thorne is alive. They didn’t show us the body, only that she gave away the gas mask. Maybe in the future we still have it

That ending just hit different and I think it was a satisfying, good conclusion to the Grimes family story. People who have watched this show in its entirety from the beginning know how much these characters have been through. The moment between judith and rick was something everyone wanted to see and it was awesome. The journey made the emotions really come out in that moment. During episode 5 I didn’t know if they could finish it in 1 more episode but I guess they did it for the most part. Good series and would like to see a reunion with Daryl/Carol/others in the future.
Watched it from day one. I have lost my family many many loved ones and the fantasy world it created for me was better than a grief counselor at times. With the story being about loss it helped so much.
Daryl & Carol should come home at the end of S2 of that show.
This was a story about Rick and michonne over coming overwhelming odds to make it back together and back home to their family. The overwhelming odds were the CRM. So while yes it was rushed a bit defeating them but it makes sense given the context of the over arching themes. It’s a love story and they told a love story.
Overall it was an amazing story and amazing finale and I’m so glad to have experienced it all ❤

This whole season is about Rick and Michonne and the reunion with the kids. Everything else is secondary. Whenever they had past reunion with others they ultimately separate and go their own way. This is a beautiful end to this chapter of the walking dead. There is a difference between surviving and living. Love, faith and hope is the sword of life that cuts through the darkest of times.
The ending surprisingly hit me hard. Would love to see more of them, but I'm okay if their story is over for now.
Omgosh I keep hearing the same old complaint! Please, explain to me how there could be an Nsync reunion with Rick and boys in SIX episodes???? How??????????? If they never do another season I would not care at all. Do I want Rick and the others coming back together sure but if it doesn't happen I'm good. Danai, Andrew, Gimple, etc. *They told us repeatedly* what the show was going to be. Some weren't listening and clearly many of you had your own scripts and fanfic going on and when you didn't get it got mad LOL. No one said to put such high expectations on a limited SIX episode program. They can only do so much in SIX episodes and they did exactly what they have been telling us for almost two years. Never once was it mentioned that Rick would see EVERYONE, never. From the beginning they told us it was about Machonne finding Rick and guess what? That's what we got. Just, wow LOL.

It was great, and it did have some flaws, but overall the series was a masterpiece. My favorite episode was four, because it's a love story, and it had a lot of raw emotions and layers.

I’m still of the opinion Richonne returned home as out the time Carol has just left searching for Daryl. And that she had been mentioning Morgan, or Dwight returning. And so after Daryl/Carol get home, they’ll see Rick there - whether it’s S2 or S3 ending.
This is about Rick and Michonne … and reuniting with their kids. I can care less about Darryl reuniting with Rick. I don’t think Rick is in a hurry to reunite with Darryl either, or Maggie. It was the two that conspired to betray Rick resulting in this situation…. Being separated from his family. But that’s me I guess, real bitter. I equate this series as a chapter in TWD novel...these 6 episodes is pretty much the Book of Richonne/Grimes Family story and now their chapter is complete. They've left the door open for other "chapters" like The Return of Rick where the community has a chance to wig out and greet him.

I agree with others on here, sad the series is ending but they did keep warning us. Once Rick and Michonne got together they would be unstoppable. They couldn't just let them get taken out by the CRM or have to keep in fighting them for a next season. They were warning us this would just be one season, I think. In the first episode Okafur told us that everyone in the military doesn’t know the full plan of the CRM.
Only a few upper eschalon (😉) knows. They know more than 90% of the rest of the troops.
The troops, being a secret, know more than 100% of the Republic at large.
Also, Andy, Danai, and Scott said that these 6 episode / 1 season miniseries is Rick & Michonne’s Epic Love Story.

Daryl’s story could conceivably be considered a The Ones Who Live continuation. He is One Who Lives.
Rick and Michonne’s story is complete. Maybe they’ll come back for a Total End Of Series Endgame Wrap Up, but if I don’t see the Grimes Family again until that happens, this fed me and filled my soul.

The writers came up with the best scenario on just how to take down the CRM. If there are only two people, how would you go about doing It? And I think that they came up with the best solution and Rick and Michonne executed the plan perfectly. I now see why Danai got the role of Okeye on Black Panther. This was a good episode and the only people disappointed were the ones who wanted more Beale. And the ones who had built up this big show down in their heads. Not understanding, that works only if you have more people with you. Rick and Michonne did it the way two people sent in to infiltrate an army would do it.
My thoughts on what will happen if there is a S2. They let us know that Morgan is going to find Rick. I don't think they did that for nothing. They let us know that they take children from communities they plan to destroy, and embedded spies in every community and City across the entire US continent and the World. Is Beale's son Mason embedded in one of the TWD communities? is he at the Commonwealth? Will he take back what they took from his father, and will Richonne's children be in danger? This was a great episode
Guys, im a 56 year old man, when i saw Judith i just lost it, i became a sobbing mess. it was one of the most emotional moments ive had watching a show. The expression by Caley Fleming was so real. Just brilliant.
What I did'nt like was to save himself from the walker hoarde, Rick blows himself up with the grenade, but than magically emerges unscathed. This was to well written of a series. They didn't have to do that.

I know a lot of people on twitter are complaining that this was just fan fiction and sucked but that’s what Danai and Andrew wanted was finish this story for the fans.
So many are theorizing about different things. Like Lance was a plant. Which seems very likely. Some people are saying Heath was a plant. He dropped the PPP card.
There’s still so many questions but I still enjoyed it. I just wish they could’ve filmed a reunion AT Alexandria with EVERYONE. That’s my only big disappointment. But Rick needed a solo moment with his kids.
You guys had a much more positive response to this finale from what I've seen so far, and I love that! It helped me see the good in the episode as well! Of course, I would have wanted maybe 2 more episodes to really slow the pacing down a bit and flesh out the reunion/future a bit more, but I am, overall, grateful for the story we got over the last 6 weeks. Much love to Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Scott Gimple for coming together to give us this show!
Thorne was a soldier before CRM found and took her. Military background. I think the minute the she got the briefing, her soldier mentality came full throttle. She wanted to be to fight, she didn't have the level of love and community like Rick did.
Sure there could have been more to the CRM but I don't really care for me it was always about Rick getting back to Judith

I think the point was to cut the head off of the snake. We all know just because Beale is dead, doesn't mean all his sheep are going to go along with the changes. That leaves the door open still for future CRM content.
So glad that they did not go with the initial plan of making three Rick movies! Six one hour episodes was more digestible! Well done! All the dots were connected!

And we'd probably still be waiting for the first movie if they were still going through with that plan.
i think a substantial part of the fandom built this up to more than what it was.. and what it was is a nice little epilogue to rick and michonne's characters. nothing more.
the whole crm/thanos-level cross-over thing.. i think thats dead in the water, frankly. gimple can say he wants that all he wants, but he's not the one calling the shots here - its basically the actors at this point.. and a decade and a half is a hell of long time doing the same shit.
besides.. i have some trouble visualizing the actors now headlining their own shows willingly walking away from that for another huge ensemble piece - sorry if that hurts some of y'all, but thats just how i see it. and many of them arent getting any younger at this point either.
but.. and this is the good news, at least - while rick and michonne might be done being "big characters" and headliners.. it's almost inevitable that one, or both, of them will play into the final few episodes of the daryl dixon show.
I wonder whether Portland and the CR will see/know Rick and Michonne as heroes for having prevented the Portland massacre, the supply drops at the end may indicate rewards for it.

I liked it, but think its become divided w fans concerning certain issues & how it seemed to be like a rushed ending. However, i personally enjoyed it & i am holding out a little hope that we will still see Rick again atvthe end of the Daryl series & get their reunion for that shows finale. I think it would work out really good that way since this series focused on their love & kids. Daryl & Ricks reunion can be Daryls perfect ending.❤💞❤️

The first time I watched it I cried my eyes out but still wanted more. I think they done these episodes so well that they left us wanting so much more but also satisfied in the end. I felt like they told the story they needed to tell and they answered what we needed

I found it interesting with the parallel of Negan's incarceration to Alexandria and Rick's incarceration to the CRM. Thorne's attempt to shooting Okafor in the head, leading up to the scar on his head. Jadis' attempt to shooting Rick where it grazes his head like Okafor. Sucks that we will not be able to witness the expression on Rick and Michonne's face once they learn of Judith almost dying from being shot by Pamela Milton.
Imagine the Daryl Dixon show, Book of Carol start with Rick and Michonne meeting up with Carol at the commonwealth, and then the viewers hearing the full extent of Carols radio call to Daryl saying “Rick is Back” does anyone know when the Daryl Dixon show starts up?
Are we supposed to believe that Judith and RJ went out alone to meet up with Rick and Michonne? Surely they would have had someone go with them. I don’t think they would have let them go alone.
Personally I'm not satisfied yet. This was a great series but you cannot end TWD without everyone reuniting. We need that and need that closure
Overall I thought this was a great series and conclusion to Rick and Michonne’s love story. Of course it’s not perfect but we got Rick reunited with Michonne and Rick finally making it home to Judith and RJ. It focused on Rick and Michonne as it should and not on other characters. Happy ending 👍
This is a gift to us from them. For our support for our love of the story. If people whine on now I have one thing to say. Go Snot yourself and be grateful we have some of the best if not the best actors ever who love their fans as much as we love them. (Not in a weird creepy way!!)

What if Carol goes to France to bring Daryl home because she knows Rick is back? If so, at the end of season 2 (or however how many seasons the show gets) maybe we'll get a reunion between Rick and Daryl and maybe with other people too.

So yeah we never really got an overall view of the CRM, just 2 sections of it. There is a ton of CRM soldiers who did not believe in what Beale did and never got that briefing.
I have Twitter notifications on for the official TWD account and some big fans and cleared each one from my screen without reading it because I did not want any spoilers.
Beale said he gave his Echelon Briefing 2533 times. I believe that's how many soldiers were at the summit or close to it since both Rick and Michonne took out at least 1 before the big boom.
They were just taking out certain kids, ones they believed could help make Beale's version of the world better. Everyone else got bombed and those leftover kids got stuffed bunnies to make them feel better.

I believe that what Rick and Michonne ended up doing, bombing all of those soldiers and taking out Beale, that's what he wanted Rick to do this whole time. That he didn't believe Beale's speech either, but was able to get through the "test".
Every time I've seen the ending, which is 3 or 4 times now, I have cried. I absolutely LOVE that Cailey Fleming and Antony Azor were able to reprise their roles as Judith and RJ.

The finale opens the door to more adventures....remember Daryl is dealing with a foreign powers AND mutant/experimental zombies and a possible cure with Laurent. I watched Dixon again and the possibilities are CRAZY!!!! Dixon gonna need some help and Carol...not to mention the rise of Negan happening and we still have hidden scientist holed up near NY still trying to find a cure....how knows.
I believe Thorn was trying so hard to believe CRM was saving the world. Because she left her loved one and gave up, she desperately wanted it to be for something worth giving up!
Guys, don't be so sure about there not being a season 2. Danai and Gimple keep getting asked about it, and they keep saying they can't answer that question. So, that's pretty telling if you ask me.

This one was for the Fans and they did not let us Richonners down. An epic love story was told and a family reunited. The way I ugly cried when i saw Judith and RJ running towards their parents was everything. I appreciate you alls sincerity and videos!!!

You can tell Scott Gimple was show runner on this episode . Good story , but getting there laves loop holes. The ending was perfect so I can not complain.
The show was executed and ended beautifully ❤ I agree with some fans that the CRM was secondary and that only the small % they took out were the crazy ones. The Civic Republic was alerted to what was really happening and are trying to work on preventing something like that again. It’s not Rick and Michonne’s job to take over the CR. They were able to take out the small % while ultimately the whole purpose was reuniting and going home. I’m happy there is no season 2. ❤❤❤❤
Now, if RJ and Judith are in future spin-offs, I want RJ (in addition to his parents’ training) to be training with Elijah and Judith to grow and fall in love with Laurent from Daryl’s show!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Awesome reaction, and yes it had me watery eyed when Rick finally seen his children. Too me what would've been even more awesome would've been having Carl standing in the background smiling at Rick's homecoming.
