That poor lady in the bathtub. I couldn't even imagine being helpless like that. I know there's alot worse things but I can't imagine seeing my own skin peeling off of myself.....

Imagine staring a wall for 3 days in hot water knowing you can’t do anything and your skin is peeling off,her vocal cords where obviously way to much affected if she was in there for that long so she couldn’t even call or scream for help
A prisoner in her own boiling body. Nerves shot so she can't feel anything, just able to see and maybe hear what was happening to her. I've had water burns before so I'm really surprised she didn't start going into shock immediately considering when I got mine on my chest and arm I was in excruciating pain for 3 weeks and that was with burn cream and things... and they were only 2nd degree burns.
I started boiling water for shells and cheese then I heard that 1st story... It made me look at the boiling water a different way, kinda not hungry anymore...but maybe I am? truly some creepy pasta.

Probably virtually unbearable at first, but after excessive nerve damage, she sure didn't feel anything before death.

For the first one, there's a reason why apartment buildings will only set the temperature for the hot water only so high. If the water is hot enough to actually burn you or cause you a great amount of pain then you need to talk to your landlord. It's unusual for any landlord to want to willingly waste electricity like that too. Most time tenants complain that the water is not hot enough.
Lady Deadpool 💋 my hot water stays actually luke warm for like 5 minutes. I have to get out half way done with my shower and wait for the hot water to be back on.

Me too. It was really disturbing but she’s in a better place now. But it also makes me wonder why they even have it where the water can even get that hot. It’s obviously isn’t safe so I don’t see why they don’t change it.
When I heard the story about the woman hacking at her wrists, that’s the first creepy pasta that truly made me sick to the stomach.
My dad and grandfather (R.I.P) used to be firemen for Rocky Hill, Connecticut, my dad told me once about an accident he and the others were called to. When they got there, there was a young man and woman who'd been in a fatal head-on car accident. He told me that the woman's leg were snapped back and bent past her head in the wrong way. They looked in the backseat, and they found a large amount of letters scattered around, they were wedding invitations the couple wanted to give to their families, very sad stuff

I guess people working in those kind of field eventually get used to it.. I'm a medical student and I've been to the forensics departement, ER nightshifts, the psychiatric ward, etc, and I guess I'm starting to get used to seeing creepy stuff.. But the smell of a dead body is the worst.. Makes me appreciate those who deal with those kind of things everyday

Humberto 3:16 volunteers don't get paid, and if you get a job as an EMT you get paid.
I find law enforcement/paramedic/medical stories to be the most interesting, since their occupations inherently put them in the line of fire for some pretty awful shit. Respect the folks who put up with this.
my fiance is an EMT & he's told me countless stories of crazy patients saying that they had witches or demons following them, & a time where he found a woman bleeding through her neck stoma. Its a job I DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to handle.
+Kimberly Parker What mistakes? I see only one word missing "ed" (witness..). Actually yr grammer etc. is really very good. Not like alot of comments! Lol. Though I know alot of mistakes are simply fast text fingers. I can type 80 words a minute on a physical qwerty,but on these little mobile "keyboards" I am in a heap of trouble. Without a stylus I end up hitting 2 or 3 letters at least half the time. Then I have to go back and fix. It would be interesting to hear your stories btw-but very sad too I bet.

None of these were disturbing but i found them very sad. A human body is still a human body no matter how terribly it's been cut/burned/etc., no matter how sick the person looks and no matter how the person died. Good stories though.

I think what people find creepy is the thought that it happened, and could've happened to them in a similar situation. The thought of going through intense/horrific pain is very disturbing to some people.

What's sad is no one appreciates EMS/paramedics.. We do so much fire helps but we do most PD is just there.. We get little thanks for what we do and it's shitty
So what you're saying is, EMT's are the only ones that do anything... police and fire just show up but you do all the work and get no credit?
I'm sorry dude but you need to suck it up!! You chose that job and many of us get no accolades for doing our jobs either! Do you ever see police or fire getting much credit for ALL THEIR HARD WORK, bc contrary to what you are claiming, they also work their asses off with very little praise!!
I've always thought of the EMTs as angels for what they do. I remember hearing a couple stories from one woman who did this. She'd had to help to try and save a woman who had sliced her own arm completely open.

For low-profile cases where agents don't have to be worried, they can have surveillance on people all the time and not have to worry about that person describing they are being watched (like the guy in the video). The NSA did that to us Americans for quite some time, and even though they were busted for it, that didn't change anything really.
You can do a quick search on Google to find a bunch of spy tracking tactics. There's even one for high-profile cases where the agents need to make sure the target doesn't know they are being followed, such as using the Triangle method (3 guys follow one person). 1 guy follows the target for some time and uses his phone to tell the guys where the target is moving, when the target is in range of the 2nd guy, the first guy leaves the immediate area and sprints/speeds down back roads to be far ahead of the target while the 2nd guy then proceeds to follow the target. The 3rd guy moves in far enough in front of the target so he/she can't see, but close enough that the guys can switch off without the target becoming suspicious of someone following him/her.
+00maniacmanny00 I can believe it, like if you look on youtube and other sites there are so many cases of 'lunatics' who before were perfectly sane now suddenly 'crazy' and saying things about the government following them and trying to kill them then usually they end up mysteriously dead or suddenly killing themselves in a very professional manner. Thanks for the fine work, Corpse Husband! I've been an EMT sine 2001 and a medic since 2004. I worked Burn ICU prior to EMS, and I never ate chicken again either. Or steak. I also don't follow up. When I drop a patient off, they were still breathing (or not), and that's all I need to know. These calls are pretty messed up. Play this game long enough and something like this comes your way. It's the price of admission to the coolest job on the planet. I'll take it; it's better than the alternative.

Started watching in October but I started with his Among Us videos like everybody.
Yeah his vids were amazing. I began watching right after my dad and mom signed up for different parts of my city's police department. These stories always would always have me shaken but I was glad to know that my family was ok and glad that someone made videos on these very dark but very informative videos. I subbed around 100k. Love all his new stuff as well but this shit was my life back then.
Even just listening to the first video in the true stories playlist versus the last is extremely jarring.

I just got hired as an EMT in Michigan. I just wanna say that I have tremendous respect for this field. I am 19 years old and I also plan to go through the paramedic program this fall. But for right now I plan to be the best EMT I can be. God bless all emergency responders.

Sometimes they moan sometimes they don't : As a Paramedic in the Army we were called to a barracks on the report of a death. We arrived and were directed to the 2nd floor. A young soldier was laying on the bed with a plastic bag over his head secured at the neck with a boot lace, with a rag soaked with boot sole edging inside. I determined he had been dead a while due to rigor setting in. We called in and reported the findings, I had started to resuscitate as required by regulation (only a MD could pronounce him dead) while the gurney was brought up. The ambu bag failed and I had to send for a second, but in the mean time I had to give CPR to the corpse for 15 minutes by mouth. The chest muscles were rigid and every breath was forced back into my face, I was affected by the chemicals and had to receive oxygen in the ER later. Another time a guy on a crotch rocket went off the road at 150 mph (est.) and flew into a chain link fence face first. The speed on impact embedded the fence over an inch deep into his body and 2 inches into his face and head. We surmised he was dead but then he moaned ! We pulled him loose but he died enroute from blood loss. A third was a two car collision with a hot rod 69 Chevy hitting a car turning left at over 100 mph. The driver of the station wagon was ejected from the car and hit a telephone pole guy wire decapitating him. It was near dark and a LEO on sight and I were searching for the driver of the Chevy. The car was compressed to half its normal size and about 3 feet high with the engine in the back seat on top of the young driver. His body was crushed to a pulp with his head smashed almost flat and brains ozzing out in the light of the cops flashlight. The cop said "This one's dead too !" and then he moaned...for the last time!

The old lady in the bath story made me cry. I’ve worked with the elderly in the past and it hurts my heart to think of a sweet old lady dying like that. I hope her family was with her in the end

Im currently going through EMT-Basic training and as a requirement you have to serve atleast 4 hours inside an ambulance. Hearing these stories gives me chills!
#6 made me sad, not only was she going through mental pain, but can you imagine the amount of pain that woman went through to do that. I wish i could have met her before maybe helped her, it's so sad that any one would feel enough pain enough loneliness that they take their own life. I cried at this part

The first story reminded me of one story I read on Rotten years back where they found a fully cooked body in a bathtub.
This is just utterly horrifying.

My dad told me a story while he was a paramedic for like 5 years. A guy called and he was speechless. All of his skin was cut off amd his eyes were gouged out and put into his mouth. He told me that he could hear him screaming while they were putting him in the stretcher. Still gives me nightmares

1 Story in and not too pleasant to hear while engulfing food
That first story reminds me sooo much of my mom's best friend, and her first and only day as a nurse's assistant in the 70s, back when pretty much anyone could do that kind of work, with basically no training. She helped a bariatric patient into the tub, and apparently this woman could wash herself, so she didn't need help with that part. So, she got her into the tub, and went on to help another patient. She was gone for approximately 20 minutes and when she was walking down the hall, she heard a weak voice say, "can you please help me?", coming from the bathroom of the obese elderly patient. When she walked in, she was bewildered because she saw these strange white strips floating on top of the water, and the water was still running. She ran over and turned the water off. To her horror, she realized that the woman had accidentally knocked the hot water faucet at full blast with her foot, and couldn't get out of the tub, as the boiling hot water scalded much of her skin off, which was now floating in the water. She tried desperately to get her out, but couldn't pick her up by herself, and the water was so hot that even when the other nurses and assistants came to help, they kept scalding themselves in the process. She said the woman wasn't screaming, just looked very sad and pitiful. They did eventually get her out, however, she was so badly burned that she ended up dying in the hospital. Sherry, my mom's best friend, never went back to work.
My uncle is an EMT and some of the stories he tells are fucked up.

I mean, if you think about it, the menstrual cycle /is/ super amazing. Women's bodies produce all these hormones that turn a completely deadly, hostile organ into a very nurturing area. The uterus not only produces multiple new layers of cells, but it also creates whole new blood vessels specifically for the maintenance of this new tissue layer as a means to nourish a potential fetuses. And then if that doesn't work, a woman bleeds for up to (and sometimes beyond) a week, often without any adverse health effects (except for some pain and irritation.)

Perhaps I'm a bit odd, but I've always been grossed out in wrists. I don't know what it is, but I cannot be grabbed at my wrists or even look at the veins in my wrist without squirming and looking away in disgust. So, this video, with the suicidal wrist cutter and the guy with the cross' stories, both contributed to making this your video which has had the biggest effect on me. Although it didn't quite scare me, it definitely disgusted me. Great work, man!
