Episode 7 is frickin awesome
I just don't get why people hate on a show before it even finishes.
This show has a better progression than the crappy GoT House of Dragon
@@Parzival-2049 And Wheel of Time which is an absolute fucking travesty.
@@caolanod2261 Agreed. That show gutted its premise as soon as it tried to make every member of the party a possible Dragon Reborn. The differences and complementarity of the genders were essential to the story and that was removed from the get-go. Why should we fear a female Dragon Reborn if she has no danger of corruption?
“There must have been some magic
in that spiky metal crown-
For when they smashed it on his head,
then he thrashed and melted down.
Sauron the Dark Lord
was a badly written guy-
looked like Aragorn
(but from amateur porn),
leaving us to wonder-
Why?”
(This last part should be read to the rhythm of the “thumpity thump thump” part of the original song)
“Supposedly
this thing
about power-
ful rings
cost a billion bucks-
The insulting
lore breaks
from these “Tolkien-
fan” fakes
means Bezos
thinks we’re all schmucks.”
😉 I spent way too much time trying to make this fit for rhyme and rhythm, especially when it was originally a two line joke inspired by your question about the crown having magical powers, but it just seemed like if it was worth doing, I should at least put in the effort. I told myself I wouldn’t get up from the toilet until I was done with the song.😆 20 minutes later, my leg may be asleep and I can’t feel my foot, but hopefully it made someone laugh👍🏻
I watch the series for entertainment. If I want canon I read the books
It's very entertaining alright and for all the wrong reasons.
@@lucianotesta5019And how!
@@moon-moth1spoken like a person who doesn’t understand Tolkien. He stated that he wants people to write and create stories in his world. An honest view of this series sees that it only attempts to honor Tolkien especially in the philosophies presented
@@moon-moth1 I have read nearly everything he wrote. Silmarillion several times and listened to the 14hr book on CD multiple times. LotR and the Hobbit dozens of times. Unfinished Tales probably 6 or 7 times. The first time I read The Hobbit, Tolkien was still alive. The only books I haven't fully completed are The History of MiddleEarth volumes. Thanks for assuming though.
I actually am enjoying season 2 more than season 1; it could certainly be better, but still enjoyable. I think people are thinking of the original lord of the rings series and making comparisons like they did with the Hobbit; it is okay for spinoffs not be as good as the original!
Look. I don’t like the hobbit trilogy, but I saw that there was something good buried in it underneath the stupid elf-dwarf romance and past the annoying, extraneous characters and overlong action sequences. That’s the nuance these videos fail to see, that there’s something good in the mix. In the Hobbit, for example, if you just focus on Bilbo, which some fan edits do, it becomes a decent movie. Still, there are no true adaptations of Tolkien’s work. It’s basically impossible to do so.
@@5quepasa movies and tv shows always fail to live up to the books, even if the author is involved.
Give power over without the one ring?
Would’ve been better if I could hear a word you said. Had my phone at full volume and could barely hear you.
