Good Video. Well Done. I had a question, between the Catalina Yachts and the Jeanneau Yachts.... in your opinion....which brand is generally EASIER to 'work on' / 'repair' / inspect things for proper utility etc.etc. ((ForExample: you run out of water, and you suspect that there is More, so you want to inspect your water tanks, or maybe switch the gooseneck values for 1 tank to a different tank. Or Example #2. the ease having to change a fuel filter or Example #3. simply switching from the toilet pumping into the 'holding tank' to dispensing overboard (when at sea).?? Is one Brand better/easier than the other.??
I think that would depend on the model. In the case of the 51 here everything comes apart for access. Engine filters quite accessible. Overboard offshore discharge is handled by opening the ball valves to the vertical mounted holding tanks. The valves are under floor panels. Water tanks can be accessed and there are inspection ports on all of the tanks. I haven't seen the Catalina 545 yet however I expect it to be similar. I've sold and sailed both brands. Both lines are good boats.
