I just ordered a book ! The author is Stephanie Bannon. I have never gone to a retreat but I'd love too! I have no local stitching store and don't know anyone who stitches. Congrats on your our 5,000!
Hi Pam! Book- I’m listening to Indigenous Nation. Really interesting history of this country from the point of view of the native peoples. And I’ve never been to a retreat- would love to go to yours! Oh, and I’ll bet when you move your furniture you’ll find those buttons and charms!! 😂
Congrats on 5,000 subscribers and the new grandbaby on the way! My first and only retreat so far was Jacob Palooza last October. It was a great experience that we made into a family vacation the week before the retreat. Good luck with the move and everything you have going on.
Congrats on the 5K subscribers!🎉. Your birds will find you in your new home! The book I am reading right now is Fourth wing. Sir Thomas is looking good and I also love that Owliver Quaker pattern. So CUTE!
You are a delight, Pam! I enjoy your stitching and backyard bird updates so much. I heard how much fun the Stitch New England retreat was last year from a stitchy friend and hope someday I can attend. My first retreat of 2024 will be Stitch North in Canada. 😊
Congrats on reaching 5,000 subscribers 🎉 I think I need to try the Book as I venture out into the land of more than one WIP! I think your birds will eventually find you💗 Awe, I love that your Dad sits in the window in the rocker! Cherish it💕
Congratulations on 5,000 Subscribers! Yay! I started A Peacock, A Unicorn, A Badger this month! It's going to take me forever to finish 😂 I also signed up for the 2024 retreat, and I can't wait!🎉
Ah Pam I would love for your retreat to be my very first one. I live in SoCal, but my in-laws have been in Foster RI for generations, so easy to visit them, drop off the grandkids and come to retreat! I love your videos and you inspired me to do the temperature calendar stitch for our new town, Pine Valley CA. We just moved here in December from nearby San Diego. ❤ I’ll be praying for a smooth move for you guys! I’m excited for my first Atomic fabric from your club. Basically you are my LNS 😂. I love birds too, we have Stellar Jays here at 4000ft, but so far they don’t care about my feeders. Hummingbirds still come in the winter.
Congratulations on welcoming a grandbaby! I love being a grandmother. So much more fun than parenting 😂 I love inserting anything Mary Oliver, and I think maybe that is something I’d like to do with some of the more traditional sampler charts I have in stash. I think that in a decade or so you might want to start another swinging fancy lady, but a joyous older woman enjoying a childhood thrill. I discovered stomping through mud is even more fun as a senior ‘cause no one scolds me for muddy jeans.
Congrats on 5000 subscribers ❤❤! I’ve been following you (lurking) for a while, but since I found out that besides cross stitch, you are a ‘birder’ AND do genealogy!!! Holey Moley! Let’s chat!!!
I am a librarian and I love books! My favorites are the Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. The audiobooks have won awards. Read/listen in order to get the full character development. The only stitching retreat I have ever attended was in the 1990’s in Winston-Salem, NC - maybe called “Joy of Cross Stitch”? I’m embarrassed to say, I still have stash from that retreat!!😂
You crack me up😂😂I’ve only been to two retreats. My first was with Teresa Kogurt in MI, and it was wonderful. I’d love to go to New England in the Fall. I just finished a book about two indigenous women who were abandoned by their tribe. I gave it back to my daughter…🤦♀️I’ll get back to you with that one🤣ohhh.. your WHIPS are beautiful, and your highlighting is next level organized 🙌🏼. Thanks for sharing, Denise
Pam! Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers! That is awesome and amazing and so well deserved. Also, your stocking is SO CUTE, and I can't wait for this year's retreat.
Beautiful stocking finish. I would stitch that pattern at A retreat. I have been to Quilters Station's retreat stitchcon 2023 and a few local retreats. I love them and the people I meet. I would love to experience the New England retreat. I have never been to that area.
Love, love, love your channel. It’s like we are old friends. I also am an avid family history buff. I would love to have a BOOK of Days and join you in highlighting 😀
The Stitch New England retreat sounds like an interesting weekend. I have attended for several years the Needlework Guild of Minnesota August retreat. Always a great time! Currently, i'm reading the book The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown. I have seen so many great reviews for the movie, but i wanted to read the book first. Love the luscious colors of the fabrics hanging in the background.
Hello from Arizona! All my alarms are set for the retreat registration. I also love those NC mushrooms. How precious your dad sitting in that rocker. I am on the hold list for Killers of the Flower Moon and the Magnolia series by Anne Marie Meyer. Genealogy sure has rabbit holes. LOL Oh and yes Stephanie has infectious joy! xx Michelle
I think it's great that you are only starting things you already own this year! Congrats on 5,000 subscribers! I went to your retreat last year and would love to go again this year!
I would love a chance to attend your retreat. I've been to several...Stitch-Con twice, Shepherds Bush twice and many local to me in TX retreats. So fun! Autumn in New England is my favorite time!!
It’s great to see you again I attended your Retreat last year it was absolutely amazing and I’m hoping to attend again this year I love Kevin stocking and congratulations on your new home and upcoming grand baby I hope to see you soon at your wonderful shop. I to love to listen to books on tape while im stitching
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers! It's so exciting! And thank you for your videos. I live close to your shop in MA and I love going in when I can. I have been thinking about going to your retreat. I have only ever been to quilting retreat, but I'm excited to attend a cross stitch retreat.
Hi Pam! I’m sure your birds will follow you to your new house. You won’t be that far away. Currently reading a cozy mystery book called Tagged to Death. Would like to recommend the book The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow. Fabulous! Would definitely like to attend a SNE retreat. 😊 Have attended rug hooking schools, but not a stitch retreat.
I love your color coding system in your Book of Days! I'm stealing!!! I never got to your store a few weeks ago because COVID reared its ugly head for the first time!! Love your videos, love your store and all your stitching!! Oh, I LOVE my fabric of the month! So glad I joined! Okay, time to retreat to my stitching room. I have gone to writing retreats in the past, specifically, The New England Crime Bake.
I’m listening to Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Burton and it is so fun. The narrator of the audiobook is really good! I finished Sir Thomas and those symbols gave me some issues, too, but what a fabulous design. The retreat sounds like a blast!
I've been to 2 retreats - SCS & Stitch New England. Super excited to go back to both in 2024!! Met my stitching besties at retreats and although it's intimidating, we are all going back again to hang out. Where's Serenity Harbor ? I'm still on the hunt for the perfect 40ct to start that piece!
Sew excited for the retreat this year!! Last year Stitch New England was my first stitching retreat. Absolutely loved every minute & the peeps from table #5. I used the Book of Days last year, I love journaling my cross stitch journey. I’m currently relistening to The Mayfair Witch trilogy by Anne Rice. Congrats on 5k subs 🎉
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I like your color system in your calendar. I need to get Owliver !! Yeah I wasn’t going to buy any new charts this year either 😂 😂😂 right !! Looking forward to the retreat - yours was my very first retreat “evah” - “wicked awesome “
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers! I'll be going to my first retreat in April and have looked at yours for an east coast trip. I so enjoy listening to books while I stitch, sew and walk. Some of my favorites from the last couple of months are: Delicious! by Ruth Reichl, The Address by Fiona Davis, The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict, The Indigo Girl by Natashia Boyd, The First Ladies by Marie Benedict, and The Lighthouse Keeper's Daughter by Hazel Gaynor.
Congrats on your milestone. The book I am reading is Famous in a Small Town, by Viola Shipman. I like this author because he likes to set his settings in Michigan.
Congratulations on 5000! I love going to a retreat. I have been to a couple of them. Missed chatting with you in the zoom groups, hopefully making it in February.
Wonderful milestone 5,000 ! I’m hoping to attend the local retreat with my LNS this year. I’m anxiously waiting for the book on tape through Libby. “ Killers of The Flower Moon” I started 17th on the list now 1st. Any day !
Good luck with your move! Move everything at once because you will be looking for things at your current home and they will be at your new home. Did this years ago and it was not fun. I attended the Stitch New England retreat last year and had a wonderful time! Never record what I am stitching because it takes away from my precious stitching time. I do place a project card in with my start date but that is all. Reading the Women"s Murder series by James Patterson. An older series that is available on Libby for free from my public library. Happy stitching and reading!
The book I am reading right now is Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica. I have been to several retreats. My favorite for now is chantelle's 141 Pep Rally.
Congratulations on 5k ! Not a surprise for us. I hope the birds find you in your new home. I am going to a small retreat here in Indiana the first of April and then flying to Maine for the Library Retreat later in April. Hugs
Thank you for another great video! I appreciate your "system" of finishing WIPs and not buying any new charts this year. I wish I was so disciplined -- not so much! I have been to several retreats and always enjoy meeting new people and chatting about stitching. I would like to attend your retreat this year too. I hope it all works out!
I sooo love the highlighting! I love a good highlighter or a multi color clicking pen! We need a multi color clicking highlighter! I would love to color a book. Those mushroom ladies are fabulous but Winter Wonderland is calling my name!
Happy move, hope all goes smoothly. The book of days is intriguing and would live to play highlighter games! I am not currently reading anything. Loved seeing your progress, sorry that the frog visited. The retreat was fantastic last year and I would love to go again. I am also expecting 1st grandchild this year, so exciting!
I am currently reading the book, "The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies," and the book, "The Bodies in the Library," both mysteries, the former is a historical novel in Regency London and the latter is a cozy mystery in Bath. I seem to be enjoying some British who-done-its.
I love Sir Thomas, but better you than me! I would love to go to the Stitch New England Retreat. I am going to the Stitch Florida retreat in July (phew), so I would love to go to a retreat in the fall in New England!!! Happy Stitching! P.S. I have a woodpecker at my feeder right now in Nc!
On the Hawk Run, I would do the December box first and then do October and November. Then you can split the remainder of the year appropriately. 🤔 I love genealogy too. I can so get sidetracked with extended family when I should be focusing on direct lineage or a specific document. 🙄 I’m currently reading The Fury by Alex Michaelides. Just started so can’t give commentary yet! 😂
Yay for 5K subscribers! Wishing you continued success! I am reading The Little Village of Book Lovers now, which is a fun read. The Little Paris Bookshop is by the same author author too which I want to read next. I loved Lessons in Chemistry as well. I've only attended a virtual retreat Jingle Ball. It would be fun to attend an in person one.
Congratulations on 5,000 subs!! 🎉 What if, instead of backstitching around the new moon with the other temp color, you do all of the perimeter cross stitches in that color and then fill in with the main color so you have more visibility of the outline?
Hi I'm currently reading Beartown and I'm loving it so much! I have attended Celebration of Needlework many, many times! I visited your booth last year, and I'm looking forward to visiting your shop soon!
Hello - so good to see again!! I enjoy your YT Vids :-) Big Congratulations on the 5K!!!! Yay!!! The book I am currently reading is the Mia Farrow memoir, What Falls Away. This was a neighborhood book club pick and it has surprised me so much in a good way - I recommend 10/10 ;-) She's a really good writer and her life is very interesting pre-Woody - I have not reach that part of her life yet ;-)
Congratulations on your 5,000! Yes my plan is to sign up for your retreat! I’m going to Gary and Ronny’s stitching retreat in the wild this year as well as stitch con retreat! Fingers crossed I get to attend your retreat as well!
Congratulations on 5k! The Stitch New England Retreat sounds amazing! I have never been to a retreat before, but would love to come to this one since I live in western MA and am so close!
Hi. I always enjoy your videos. Congratulations on 5000 subscribers. I'm listening to the book Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend. I'm also loving the Amelia Peabody series.
I have never been to a retreat before. I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short as far as registering goes lol. So i just stay home and read a book and stitch by myself. I'll get there someday. I always enjoy your videos. Im reading "Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone" by Diana Gabaldon. It's the latest in the Outlander series.
Congratulations on 5,000! Currently listening to the audiobook “What lies in the woods by Kate Alice Marshall” definitely an out of the box read for me. And little bit weird, scary and odd all at the same time. I’ve never been to an actual retreat where you sit at a table with the same people all weekend and do smalls exchange etc. I’ve been to Celerbrations in Nashua NH but it’s not like a regular retreat like I hear others talk about. Thanks for sharing today, love listening to your floss tubes.
Hectors stocking is fabulous! I love that a shop owner is trying to not buy any charts this year 😂 I want to say the same but I know I won’t be able to hold to it. Maybe I should say I can only buy a new one (or 2😜) for every one I complete (not FFO but stitching) 🤔 I have never been to a retreat but would love to come to yours! I love New England & I’m always quoting you “it’s good enough!” Lol!
Hi Pam! Love your channel! I have never attended an in-person retreat but would love to come to Stitch New England. Will definitely be making a trip to the shop once winter is over. 😁
Congrats on 5,000 subscribers Pam! As always, love when you post a floss tube. Kevin’s stocking beautiful! Will be hung this year in your new house with your Grand baby’s 1st Christmas stocking?? On my bucket list this year to try a Shepherd’s Bush stocking for my 3yr old Grand daughter, but now I’ll have to stitch two stockings! Second grand baby arriving in late September, early October. That means, boo hoo, I’ll be missing coming to New England this year! I had plans to attend again, as I enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed coming to your event Stitch New England last year! Great memories, great fun. I was so ready to book my registration when my daughter announced baby #2 coming in the Fall. Congrats on your soon to arrive Grand baby!
Love your progress and bummed I had to miss last night - I’m kitting up a Mirabilia though so hope to have that for a March start. I am listening to audiobooks while I stitch as well. Currently listening to the Hannah Swenson Mysteries series. I’m on book 28. I would LOVE to attend your retreat. Needs to happen and hopefully it could be 2024 🥰
to listen to a good audio book while I'm stitching. A recent book that you might like is A True Account: Hannah Masury's Sojurn Amongst the Pyrates, Written by Herself, by Katherine Howe. "The book starts off in Boston as the Golden Age of Piracy comes to a close..." Also, just have to say I'm impressed with your self-management for stitching this year....I'm still chasing squirrels.
Why would you be surprised at 5,000 subscribers? It's a joy to watch you! The Stitch New England Retreat sounds lovely. I have attended retreats in Canada and Oregon at the beach and in the mountains. Always a joy to gather with other stitchers!
Great catching up with you today and seeing your progress and love the charts I need Owliver so adorable. The fabrics are beautiful 🤩 have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Congrats on 5,000 subscribers! Your little blush was adorable. Unlike you, I have been home more than usual. Imagine my joy as I stood at my sink doing PT exercises and a pair of bluebirds flew up to my feeders!🥰🥰I was so excited! We usually don’t see them too often in CT and I’d never seen them in the winter. A male cardinal flew in right then too. My usual juncoes, nuthatches, wrens, downy woodpeckers and chickadees were out there too. My heart was so full! With the snow and forest behind them, it looked exactly like some of the cross stitch patterns with multiple birds feeding. You would have loved it! Can’t wait to see what new bird friends you get.💕
I love a good book but I tend to listen to audiobooks while I stitch. I loved, ‘The Ballad of Frankie Silver’.
I love the Book of Days! Thanks for sharing your Wips and your 5,000 subscribers! Happy Stitching! 😊
Book , this former English teacher is rereading Pride and Prejudice, love the classics 💕🪡🧵
Cherish it💕
When you put out the feeders in your new location, the birds will come. They will find you!
Congratulations on 5,000 Subscribers! Yay! I started A Peacock, A Unicorn, A Badger this month! It's going to take me forever to finish 😂 I also signed up for the 2024 retreat, and I can't wait!🎉
Congrats on 5000 subscribers! I would love to meet you at the retreat. Your videos are great - I’m so glad I found your channel.
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers! The current BOOK I am reading is Incredibly Bright Creatures, it is awesome so far!
Woo hoo! 5,000 subs!!! I love your highlighter idea you're using on the BOD. The Stitch New England retreat is on my bucket list.
Wahoo 5,000 congrats can't wait for this year's retreat! Your 2023 retreat was my first retreat ever and had so much fun!

I went last year and you will love it! I’m kind of shy and anxious and was worried that I wouldn’t find my footing, but it was great 😊
Your stocking looks fantastic!! I'm always amazed at how huge those are. I'm all registered for the retreat and can't wait!
Hi I'm currently reading Beartown and I'm loving it so much! I have attended Celebration of Needlework many, many times! I visited your booth last year, and I'm looking forward to visiting your shop soon!
Congratulations on reaching 5k. I will be attending the needlework RETREAT in NJ in March. I would love to attend your RETREAT this year if I can.
Thanks for you help on Saturday picking out the color floss for me. I would love a retreat. Congratulations on 5k
I enjoy the East Hill Farm retreat.
Congratulations on your 5,000! Yes my plan is to sign up for your retreat! I’m going to Gary and Ronny’s stitching retreat in the wild this year as well as stitch con retreat! Fingers crossed I get to attend your retreat as well!
Congrats on the milestone! Looking forward to the SNE retreat. 🎉
I have only been to one retreat - yours and it was great! I will see you there again this year.
Congratulations on 5k! The Stitch New England Retreat sounds amazing! I have never been to a retreat before, but would love to come to this one since I live in western MA and am so close!
I listened to an audiobook I think you'll love: Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. It's funny and heartwarming at the same time.
Hi. I always enjoy your videos. Congratulations on 5000 subscribers. I'm listening to the book Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend. I'm also loving the Amelia Peabody series.
Congradulations on your subscribers increased. I love to read books but now can not read as long as I used to. Love reading science/fantasy.
Congradulations It would be nice to book a retreat. I hope your move goes smoothly.
Congratulations on 5 thousand 👏
Love your progress and bummed I had to miss last night - I’m kitting up a Mirabilia though so hope to have that for a March start.
I am listening to audiobooks while I stitch as well. Currently listening to the Hannah Swenson Mysteries series. I’m on book 28.
I would LOVE to attend your retreat. Needs to happen and hopefully it could be 2024 🥰
February will be my first retreat. I would love to go to SNE!
The book I’m reading is Summer on BlackBerry Beach by Belle Calhoun. I read this at night so it’s not a page turner it’s just a nice story.
My sister and I are hoping to sign up for this year's retreat! Congrats on the 5k!!
Congrats on 5k! I hope you have another successful and fun retreat this year!
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers!
to listen to a good audio book while I'm stitching.
The stocking looks so awesome!! I've never been to a retreat but hope to go one day.
Bless You! currently reading Dirty Thirty by Janet Evanovich - love her books such easy read! Congratulations on 5K
Can’t wait to see what new bird friends you get.💕
Wow what a give away .i have never been to a retreat would love to go !!
I'm looking forward to my first SNE retreat.
Congrats on 5k subbies, I would love to attend a USA retreat
Loved your video as always. That owl is just the cutest. I have been thinking about getting the Book of Days. I would love to try it.
