I’m so excited for you. “Grammy” just kind of happened to me, because when my grandson was learning to talk, “Grandma” came out as “Grammy,” and he was just so stinkin’ cute that I let it stick. Now, I’m a GREAT grandma, and I’m trying to teach the 2 year old to say “Great.” 😂 I live in hope! At least that way SOMEONE will call me “great.” In other news: Your turkey is looking FABULOUS!! I'm so happy your birds have found you! I'm planning my plantings in hopes the hummingbirds find their way back to my clothesline! Your ABC's have inspired me to pull out my chart and get it started. So excited for you and the arrival of your new family member! My husband's grandmother was supposed to be Grandma, but his brother couldn't pronounce it and it became Gamma instead. It stuck through to the next generation! Whatever you pick will be perfect, even if the little one alters it a bit!

We've had alot of gold finches this year which is unusual and I love to see them. I hope the orioles find you. It's funny I'm from Maryland and they are our state bird but we don't have them here or at least I've never seen one. I think you totally look like a Mimi. It sounds fun like you.

How happy to hold that first grandchild! I remember just breathing her scent!! I am Gramma Dez! And now I have two great grandchildren! I love June Bug! My mom will be 98 in June and last year we did 5-generation pictures. I hope to teach my great granddaughter to stitch!

Hi Pam! My mom wanted to be Grammy but when my son was a toddler he could only say Mimi so that’s what stuck. Your HRH is looking so good! Congrats on the move and can’t wait to see pics of the little munchkin!
You could be a Grammy or Nana....always fun watching you...I just could not imagine moving again 39 times was enough for me...every 2 years my stuff jumped into a truck....the bug is just to cute...please take care and be safe
My hummingbirds were back 3 weeks early here in WV.
I put out my Oriole feeder this weekend and had a Hummingbird find it🙄 No orioles yet but fingers crossed we both see them!!🫎
Congratulations on the new house and the new member of the family! As far as names go, kids learn pretty quickly, so my (unnecessary) advice is to be comfortable with what you’re called, and think about how it will sound when they are teenagers. My husband called his grandma Momo. As an adult, it was just weird. And when she was introduced to the spouses-we just called her Helen. Write down the cute names they say when they’re little, but they learn words very fast-they’ll catch on.

Hello!! I’m so glad that I found your channel! I started watching you last year but for some reason I stopped getting updates (I’m still subscribed) until today when you popped back up. YAY!! I so enjoy your videos. I was wondering what happened to you but now, because of UA-cam’s bug I have a nice backlog of videos to watch. 😊 Fun fact, my UA-cam name is partly to blame because of the wonderful June Bug. I love to garden but I scare very easily and why these guys have to fly right by your ear I have no clue but I’m pretty sure my neighbors either think I’m nuts or find it hilarious. 😂
My oldest granddaughter started calling me DarDar... so now all the kids call me that... I love it! I was trying to figure out what I was going to be called and it just happened! Always great to see you... I'm almost done with the center of A Tisket A Tasket, I only have a few flowers to backstitch, then I am off to continue with the border, I have the left top corner done! I look forward to seeing the progress of yours!
I have a feeling the name will happen organically no matter what I pick :)

My husband's grandmother was labelled "Hat" by our daughter, and his stepfather was "Guh-Doc." (Hat always wore hats, and Guh-Doc started out as Grampa Dick - his given name, but he was also a veterinarian and everyone in town just called him Doc. Guh-Doc seems like a better option, really....)

So excited for you on becoming a ( whatever name you decide on) I have only two children so wasn’t expecting a ton of grand babies.BUT I have 8 grandchildren!!! Wow! I have trouble looking at them and call them by their right names. One family( my daughter) calls me grandma and my sons family call me Moute. All those grands are like having one bug after another coming to dinner. So fun!
