I am diagnosed Bipolar II w/ Ptsd as well. After 15 years of standard treatments including numerous therapists & over 30 medications I started treating myself with psilocybin tea in 2023.
After 18-20 trips I was able to stop taking 2 of my 3 psych meds, 1 being lithium.
I now only use Seroquel for sleeping and only see a psychiatrist once every two months.
I no longer use mushrooms but I feel that their use was an essential step in getting off of traditional (sometimes harmful) psychiatrist meds.
It's certainly not for everyone and they should definitely not be used with certain psych meds like lithium or anti-depressants but for me, they were life changing.

So how doyou explain the people who take psychedelics and have months long psychotic breaks. I have known a number of them. It's clear that psychedelics cause psychosis and serious dangerous psychosis where people hurt themselves and others. You don't know people who have experienced this?

lol those aren’t what they do. Get a grip on reality. Learn. Get out there. It’s all legal now in Colorado for a reason.

Go a little deeper in research a lot of the biased media out there say it causes psychosis but no, it can only exacerbate certain mental disorders which can end up causing that, and if your pre determined for certain mental disorders and can possibly bring them out sooner rather than later in life, but that’s why they are beginning to do research because there are other mental health issues that psychedelics greatly help with, I personally have been diagnosed with major depression, anxiety, and anger issues, I won’t say psychedelics have completely just magically healed me but they have helped me immensely over the last 5 years of experimenting around with it and really helps put things in perspective, I’ve also recently noticed I have a lot of symptoms of a.d.d. and have known for a while now that I have ocd as well which in my experience don’t mix well lol but I’ve found that Microdosing helps a lot :) have a great day I hope I informed well lol I’m no scientist just a guy who has done a good amount of online research and personal experience with it :) p.s. I also have met people that have had the negative symptoms I mentioned in the beginning of my long schpeal and it is very unfortunate but that’s why these things should be available to the right people it is not for everyone, I do not recommend just anyone to try it because I understand the intense power these medicines can have

@@BlakeMcDaniel225please check my reply in the main thread. I have 2 pre-existing conditions and didn't have any PTSD for over a year. I always test the clarity.. not the right word but cleanliness of the psilocybin and knowledge of doctors in Oregon. I studied it for eleven months and read lots of material and books rather than just the internet. I don't believe in micro dosing. I think macro every 6-18 months of 2g or more is the right way to go. It's all about setting and ideally a sitter and noise cancelling earphones and proper digestion of the mushrooms. There wasn't any research on my pre-existing condition but I was at the point where I was willing to take the risk based on everything id learned. Another family member saw a huge improvement in me and despite living in a state that isn't legal.. she tried micro dosing but she wasn't sure if it was helpful or not. I don't believe it's helpful and unfortunately every person has a different weight for micro dosing.

Do you truly trust the FDA? It's legal in my state and I have seen nothing but growth.
Foods are monitored by the Drug Agency. I was in Asia, Central America and Europe. American food is so bad. I have epilepsy and I can report no seizures. I didn't have ideation for 2 years after my first use. I also had almost no depression for 20 months on a 2gram dose. Noise cancelling earphones 🎧, proper setting and the 3rd time was after 3.25 years later. You can message me personally if you have questions.
