Extremely concise, clear, and informative. Thank you. One question. Using ARA, often I'll edit pitch, bounce, save, and close a session. When I reopen it, some of the blobs have changed pitch. I've been observing this for some time, and haven't been able to isolate the source of the problem. Any ideas? Appreciated!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Unfortunately this may just be a bug with ARA. In my experience it just doesn’t work reliably with Logic for some reason. That’s one of the big reasons I use the standalone Melodyne.
Love Flex Pitch, and its works perfect, super easy to use, but it has WAYYYY too many artifacts. I really wish they would fix this and use tuning algorithms like melodyne. Even waves tune has less artifacts (but still present). Melodyne wins over Flex Pitch every single time.
Yeah I totally agree. Flex Pitch is fun to use for creative effects and really mangling audio but for transparent vocal tuning it’s Melodyne every time.
Yes, I had the same experience with Flexpitch. I tend to push things to their limit and edit with my eyes, so even Melodyne sometimes conjures an artifact.
Hey man, great tutorial. One suggestion, stop ending your sentences with rising incidences. It makes you sound less authoritative. You have a great information in your videos, and do not put subconscious triggers that would diminish your credibility.
I get annoyed extremely easily, and your video/voice is nowhere close to annoying. I found your video to be extremely useful and helpful. ♥
Thanks so much! Glad to help

Thanks for this tutorial Chris. I'm new to Melodyne and some of your tips were very helpful. Nice track too!
Thanks so much! Glad to help!
Very helpful for me as I also have Melodyne! THANKS A LOT!
You are very welcome! Glad to help!

Beautiful and so neat!
Thanks so much!
EXCELLENT METHODOLOGY OF PRESENTATION . 👍
Thanks so much!!
If you use Melodyne as a plugin. Isn't it possible to bounce to a new track with melodyne baked in after correction?
Yup! That is totally possible. You would just use bounce in place.
Hey
Let us know what you eat or drink to remember all this stuff.
Good work!

You’re welcome!
Yessssss bro
We are gonna get you on this technique soon!
Maybe there is another good method to detect incorrent pitches: Classical ear training.

ARA requires rosetta 😢
Unfortunately true. Another reason I don't like to use it.
Interesting however; your high rising terminal speech makes it annoying to listen to, had to use the subtitles lol!
Glad you still found the video interesting!
@@sangstersounds I didn't hear anything annoying about your speech. You sound fine. Great video and well done. Thanks for posting
