So, if I sell some artwork to someone, and they place £20 pounds into their paypal account, then send that £20 to my PayPal account, and I then take that £20 from my PayPal account and transfer it into my DEBIT account, will I lose any money due to merchant fees?
How many times do you have to go to the wallet and click on use your bank account for all purchases, see bank account marked as prefered and have funds taken from PP balance? Which then overdrafts the account and purchases are now charge to the credit card, now over the limit. Thanks to the idiots I have to wait for the 3 days for an electronic transaction to go through so I can deposit $10 in my lotto account and get 40 free games.

So disappointed with PayPal, resolution center doesn't function, customer support doesn't respond, I will step out of PayPal because buyer is not protected well because of a froud seller, buyers be aware, PayPal support doesn't do the job well anymore

paypal is not secure ! someone tried to buy 2,000 dollars worth of tickets by using my credit card going through paypal account. but i caught it in time and put a stop to it. Now i have a new paypal cash account and dont have any credit card or bank account linked to it. now i only use it to get my pateron money every few months, and as soon as that money is deposited in paypal then i spend it. I know how it works. They sell you a card from a bank that doesnt trust anyone. so getting it activated is next to impossible. Looks like im out $200...thanks, paypal.

But funny how they have no problem mailing My $195 to my PO box, but cant trust me because i dont have a residential address. Does that make any kind of sense? Why would I lie about who I am if Im giving some people I dont even know my money? If anything, I should be asking them for ID.

Its not ideal, but legal and enforcable. Good to know, I was ready to try paypal but this is not disclosed before or starting the signup. I I started, but decided to watch walk throughs to find out what is entailed. The SS is a dealbreaker for me. Never had a bank ask for it. we are about a year away from "show my your papers" just to walk around or shop anyway. Ill wait till then.

I have a question if anyone can help. Is it safe to trust them with ur Social security number? Why can't I use it without my SSN? For the Taxs?
Social Security number will prove that you are a US citizen and is a unique identifier. I would personally trust PayPal with it.
