It took me awhile to figure out the landscaping part. The best tip I found was, when doing some ground adjustments is, make your adjustments before you place anything down. Also use Slope to even out the ground when on a hill or slope. I use landscaping every once in awhile and using it more and more made me better at it. Thanks for the video!!
Yes some ground areas go crazy when you place a building, I was experimenting with a load of chicken coops, bade the mistake of placing them all then had to knock them all down again to fix the ground.
Thanks for the info. Rarely find landscaping tools in any game that are perfect. FS22 is obviously no different. Your vid convinced me to not bother with landscaping in FS22. Very fiddly and time consuming. But again thank you for the vid and please keep up the good work👍
It takes a lot of fiddling around, I found, if you want to make a sloping area, for instance for a field next to an already sloping field. They made the terrain leveling to flat ground easy, but they didn't include a tool to do the job of flattening a field to levels where a tractor or harvester could smoothly drive over it. It's amazing how many lumps a Hired Worker will put up with in a field when working with a tool on a tractor.
This definitely helped. I quit on a few maps bc I didn’t understand the sculpting cursor.
glad it helped
Thank you sooo much for you help and kindness i appreciate the time you took to do this for me thank you again
You are so welcome
