This is a fantastically engineered engine swap !
I'm so doing this swap in my 1970 Superbird. Will be Epic.
Nice job guys! Love the attention and time spent making everything work with a junkyard donor drivetrain! While each person has his or her preference on their tansmission of choice, some of us go with the setup we can afford. That's why my choice is to go with the setup as pulled straight from a running donor vehicle. Since the 5.7 was mated to the NAG1, in the early years, that's what my '50 Dodge panel has. ...And, now, my '66 Charger may just have to have the same setup. Again, seriously nice job! Thank you for stepping up to the plate and being willing to take a chance engineering parts for us Mopar guys! I missed Moparty this year, but am holding out hope that I'll be able to make it next year.
Great job, nicely engineered gear
Please make turbo headers like the cast iron one yall have for ls engines for a gen 3 hemi!!!!
When it comes to B body, everyone goes to the roadrunners/gtx, cudas etc but these 1st gen chargers dont get enough love. Ive been hunting for years now.
Cool vid. Keep up the great work!
nice setup guys one nice clean install...love those GEN3 hemi
Terrific job! If you guys can do a E-body swap that would be greatly appreciated and AWESOME! Aloha
The process and parts are dang near the same
Nice video, guys. Great job.
Cool Holley is making g3 hemi swap parts........only 17 years late.
Great work man!
Love the swap kit stuff. When is the Dakota video coming....can't wait!
Now if you guys could make your pro dash plug into the obd2 port on these modern engines, would simplify gauge installation
ok guys now I just need you to get this for the 74 duster
Make mounts for the 62-66 b and c bodies!
Looks great! How about an A-body? Specifically a 67 Dart.
why would i swap to nag1 Transmission ,since it is not supported by Terminator X max or Dominator...!!?
Can you talk about the wiring and computer needed and the rest of the stuff?
nice .... but you stopped making the long tube headers!!!!! why??? I liked my two sets and I need two more!!!
What about the driveshaft
What computer is used to control the transmission?
When is the A Body stuff coming or is it?
5:15 in for the Transmission Crossmember details for anyone else who's here for that information.
holleyperformance With these engine mounts pushing motor forward how much room does that leave for a radiator and electric fan setup .
Get something for 73+ B body mopars
Everything looks fantastic, I have a 67 under restoration now and it's real eciting to see you working on the same car. Just one question, do you also cover converting the electronics?
Pretty awesome stuff going on at Holley. I see a lot of Mopar guys swapping in complete late model dashes into the old iron and wonder if a person could easily take a late model LX drivetrain with accessories, computers, wiring ect and install it into a car but use on of the new Holley digital gauge tablets instead. Would the Mopar factory wiring and connectors just plug and play into the Holley dash unit?
Have kits like this for the A body? Have a 73 Dart that'll need some love lol
I did a Hemi swap and I’m having a vey difficult time seems like it’s running on 4 cylinders I pinned everything checked my grounds
Will this stuff work with the qa1 k member planning on running their entire drag suspension kit
What about some Mopar A body love.
I'll gradly accept all the 383's, 400's & 440 Magnum's y'all put aside.
Beautiful, what about the computer module to run the Hemi and trans? Is there a stand alone system one could buy and install?
Will this work with my QA1 K-member? - Thinking about buying the entire system from blackheart for my b-body. Also, aren't you going to have a prop shaft available soon, to complete the collection of necessary parts for the swap?
Would like to know too
I have a 1980 grand prix would these parts work trying to put my 5.7 hemi in it
Thank you for not cutting up a Gen Two charger or a 70 to 74 ebody or worse a 71 Cuda . I don't have a problem cutting up cars on the low scale of worth . This is the first time I seen anybody do a swap on a lower value Mopar they usually butcher Gen 2s or Cudas or Challenger RT s
So your video says up to '71, but the website says up to '70... which is it?
im gonna do it, wondering if my unisteer rack and pinion will still work, 71 charger
So the transmission crossmember won't work on a 71 or 72 charger? Seems like really the only parts that would work according to you guys are the engine mounts.
Seems like you guys are still working on it I guess, I'll refrain from buying anything until it's confirmed that the transmission crossmember and hoop will work on my 72 charger
Do you think those headers would work on I have a 65 polara
I noticed on y'alls site it only goes up to 72, but I have a 73. I thought the 71-74 were all the same.
You and me both brother.
suspension/steering are different on the 73-74 than on the earlier cars.
Wow, that's really great work. I am considering the swap for a 69 Dart GTS. Anything I should be considering that is not listed in the vid?
Sorry, was all excited and forgot the Dart is an A body. What do you have in that area for similar swap?
Do you have kit for 8hp90 yet
Any idea if a TR6060 will clear without cutting? I imagine but will if the 8spd makes it!
No Mopar clears a tremec without cutting the crossmember and tunnel, especially if the car was an auto originally.
@@PredaFran That's what everyone has been saying about the 8spd too - but with this mount setup it works.
So one of the reasons for the swap is because the new engines are cleaner and you leave the cats off???
The hemi tick.
I’d love to swap in a 6.1 or 6.4 into my 2001 dodge van,, can you fellas help? Would also like the 8 speed auto if possible
So far no one I know of has been able to get a Gen III into a Van. A couple of people are trying...
I’d love to give it a try,,, I know where a 5.7 is,, needs an overhaul
@@nitewatch2.027 The problem is on the passenger side. The engine is purposely biased as much as possible to that side to give the driver foot room for the accelerator and brake. From what I have learned, you have to take the frame stands off the crossmember and reposition them, making the necessary modifications to them, and then with the manifolds/headers of your choosing, weld them back in the place that allows everything o fit. Except the drivers feet...they will be VERY cramped. But I see it as being possible, just a little more engineering than most are willing to embark on.
Can’t find a shop near me that would tackle it 😢, my goal is the hemi, 8 spd auto, and utilize newer half ton truck suspension parts(rear axle, plus front and rear disc brakes, headers and side pipes ,, and maybe the dash
Any c body kits
How about the wiring?
would those be a negligible difference between a 2 vs 4 door?
Would a 392 hemi bolt up directly to a torqueflite 727?
A Gen III 392 Hemi will bolt up to a 727, yes.
Do you guys have a gen 3 hemi swap kit for a 68 dodge dart cause I have a 6.4 grate enigne I want to put in my 68 dodge dart superstock
Will the oil pan fit and work with a 6.2 hellcat/red eye motor?
Does tunnel need cut for the nag 1
How much u yall charge to install one in a car
Sooo would this kit work for a 75 charger ???
Wiring harness upgrades?
They have a terminator you can get now
You should of started the car js
Leave it alone it was a better car
this hurts...hard.
Huh?
