I love the color palette as a True/Cool Winter. The thing that throws me off from fully embracing SN is that I look more right wearing the reds, purples and pinks of my color palette and that closed necklines aren't an option for me with my very short neck, large chest and chunky arms. I feel closed necklines exaggerate my running top heavy. I feel like too much detail is pushing it for me but again I find what makes it hard is that despite the chunky thighs and butt that my hips are so straight which makes it hard to find bottoms. Low waisted pants look awful but drop waist dresses and skirts work. I feel I have to highlight my entire figure to look right instead of accommodating one thing or the other. I have a short vertical and 5'4". Tiny hands and big feet. SN is typically shown as more tomboyish and I feel Icsuit going more "frou frou". I considered FG but I feel it looks too sharp. SD kinda works but I feel I have to do too much to work it instead of it mirroring my body so I think that's not it. I keep landing on Romantic and TR tilting towards Romantic but they rarely show a top heavy Romantic. TR doesn't feel off but I find the accessories for it too noisy for me, like it needs more round less "sharpness". I have BIG coily curly hair to boot and prefer to wear it as is since my lifestyle makes it impossible for me to constantly fight it down. And I have to FIGHT to alter it. In general I suit big hair that's not too long or short. Long hair drags me down but big hair looks fun and personality appropriate. I find rings to be the best accesory to drag the eye down and reduce the detail from the top. In general I suit fashions that drag the eye down but free the upper body so I don't look like a palm tree. Could you make a video how this would look like?
@@eyesthrurosecoloredglasses You can absolutely wear red, purple, and pink as an SN! I do not believe that color type is tied to body type - I believe your color palette should be chosen based on your personal coloring and your preferences/style goals alone. I can totally understand the issue with tight necklines, I personally struggle with that too as an FN. I have straight hips as well, and I find that straight or relaxed pants work best, so that there is a fluid line from my hips to the floor. Tighter or even slim silhouettes can look weird in the hip area for me, so I often choose to wear them with tops that at least partially cover my hips. I'd love to help you with your body type if you aren't sure about SN! Feel free to DM me on Instagram @alyssarudman 🥰
As a soft natural, *YES* , I would wear these items. I love the dress and the teal off the shoulder top. I prefer brown or navy over black in my wardrobe, burgundy is a staple for a pop of color in my muted palette of olive, denim, khaki and brown.
I am a soft natural with dark winter season and this video was released in good timing since I am slowly building my capsule wardrobe. For starters I love how this video suited my style and focused more on versatile outfits. I might make some few changes since I live in a tropical country. So rather than turtle necks, long sleeves, and ankle boots would just opt for black blouses, short sleeve body suit and a pair of black heels. Overall I enjoyed the video. Thank you!
Ah I love this soooo much!!! I’m an SN and I find the normal go to and most recommended styles for SN are just not my vibe at all, I prefer much sleeker styles so this video is perfect ❤
Such good content 😊 Can you do essences blend: ethereal, gamine, classic? The only celebrity how have this blend and follow this is Taeyeon, a korean singer, but since she has a gamine body she daily uses more her gamine side. I have a dramatic classic body and can't mix my essences X body Helps please 😢
thanks for the interesting and useful video! 🔥You wrote that the bag is Proenza Schouler, but it is not for sale. where can I buy such a bag? With gratitude🙏🏻
Can you do a video on how to style myself more "cute" as someone in the Natural family? I dressed like the pieces in this video for a long time, but now I'm gravitating towards cuter fashion -- even though as a Natural, cuteness isn't the first thing you'd probably think of when you see me. It's something I want to channel more but I don't know how. Wondering about hair and makeup too. Not necessarily ultra feminine, just a bit more delicate.
I'm a dark autumn. I thought I was a soft natural up until I saw these clothes. Mostly of which I don't have. I had turtlenecks but I gave them away because they look terrible on me. Asymmetrical stuff look terrible too. I wore an asymmetrical jumpsuit for my senior prom last year. When I look at the pictures, I look offlandish😅. Flowy dresses make me look like I'm wearing a night dress. Shirts look bad too. Relaxed stuff make me look a bit on the unkempt side, almost like I'm tired. Now I'm really not sure what Kibbe type I am. I'm 5'5. Help.
Please don’t type yourself based on the clothing selections! Just because you don’t have or like items that are in another SN’s capsule wardrobe doesn’t mean you’re not SN. But I would love to help you out! I can’t help without seeing you though. You can book a body type analysis on www.alyssarudman.com/services and if you DM me on Instagram @alyssarudman I’d love to give you a discount code too!
Would you wear this capsule wardrobe?

Can you please do this in a deep winter colour palette or recommendations to make this into a Dee winter colour palette xx?

That’s a good idea! Do you have a Pinterest board or something showing what you consider to be “cute?”
