Have a look at 2.19 At the end of the shot the lever raises indicating trapped air in the group. If you would like a full 30-32ml shot, try lifting the group and flushing for 1 sec first then lower a mm or 2 to shut off water, then insert the PF with the handle in the raised (shutoff) position. Then fully raise the lever to fill group, a couple of micro pumps to exclude any air, then pull. When the shot finishes, if the lever raises like that, it shows theres some compressed air. Liquid doesnt compress. No biggie either way if you like the taste of your coffee as thats what its all about . Just an observation.
