But, while the newest addition to the growing Genesis family has a lot to be liked, Alex and Dan throw a twist into their summary.

Such an elegant design inside and out. I want one so badly. Beautiful car! Steering wheel is nice too. Not sure why that got so much discussion.

You guys are just biased about the steering wheel, the alloy wheels and someone who will buy this car would buy a Saab. It sounds more like a bashing session rather than a review. You can't appreciate a beautiful, bold design-- something that doesn't look like the German babushkas.
Go Genesis!! You are making some awesome cars. Can't wait for the G90 to come in Australia.

A humble opinion form a person living outside Australia and New Zealand: please make sure you quote the power figures in Horse power (HP) too as it is really difficult for us to understand it
Also insted of watching content we keep converting the power figures
Certianly Not very intuitive as a Viewer
    Kindly consider the suggestion

Actually most of the world is metric not just OZ & NZ, so KW is correct or at least the most preferred. I don't notice any non metric countries providing KW & NM in their review of cars. That said it would be easy to include or you can simply multiple the KW figure by 4 and divide by 3 for an approximation.

Well yes and no. Most European publications quote power in PS which is metric but not kW.

Interesting you mentioned the body creak when another publication that compared the G80 this the E-Class said the structure felt less rigid.

My 2015 Hyundai Genesis does it too... feels like it’s related to the sunroof

Compare to 3.3T or a direct injected V6, the new 3.5TT is based up on MPI and direct injection... This should help to solve the carbon building issues in the motor due to the EGR.. So many problems can be avoided as carbon particles are most problematic issues with the direct injection motor and turbo, as the carbon particles can build and break off to the turbo and valves and causes problems... The MPI method helps by using petrol as solvent to clean the carbon build up.. The engine operates on MPI on low revs and direct injection at high revs.. It was one of my many reasons to buy the GV80 over the Germans... It was cheaper for me to buy BMW X5 M pack inline 6, which I like, but I wasn't fan of mundane design and interior.. I used to own 2016 RR sports SE but this is more planted and stable on high speed.. The air suspension on RR was rubbish after 2 years, it started to leak and mushy.. And the equipment level was inferior.. for me to buy the same equipment spec, i need to spend $20,000 to $40,000 or more on RR or BMW.. I have done 12,000 kms on the GV80, and I would buy it again, if I need to replace it again..

Copy that, Dan. Plans are already under way. We’re curious. Would you take a G80 over one of its German competition?

@@WheelsAustralia I loved my 3 series to death but given the chance, I wouldn't mind the G80. Although I do agree that the GV80 SUV is the better looker of the two.

There are some dumb people out there if they don't know what a genesis vehicle is.

Haha that intro 🤣🤣 seriously tho, good to see Genesis making decent product. Question mark is around depreciation for me...

I hadn't thought of that, but that's true. Who would buy a used Genesis over a BMW?

Right because the Germans don't depreciate like crazy....😆

G80 is one of the best steering wheels on the market in my opinion. GV80 also is very practical but that one looks ugly!

I see Wheels is trying to mimic the review style of "TheStraightPipes" and "Throttle House" car review channels. Not a bad idea if you can pull it off as both of those are informative and fun, car review sites.

I’ll keep buying Lexus 🤑. The wheels would look good on a jdm car on airbags.
