I have been a student of classical music and I definitely love the kacheri rendition any day, but this treatment is just amazing. If this won't appeal you, what else will? This is the best fusion rendition of any keerthanas I have heard till date. Sharreth sirs signature composing style and his genius written all over the songs.

His intricacies on placing of instruments, intricate thalams, variety of instruments, musical pauses and lastly his singing style, gamakas keeps the listener intrigued and craving to want more. The amazing compositions of our very own Swathi Thirunal and his expertise and passion for Carnatic krithis is to be extolled. Such a genius who passed away at such an young age is sad. I'd imagine what the genius could have accomplished if he had lived a long live. As they say, God takes away such diamonds to keep them closer to Him. Sharreth sir - Purists will always be purists and they do not want to be flexible and tolerant to ideas and possibilities. You have kept the sanctity of the krithi yet brought a more embracing perspective to modern day listeners which would otherwise go unnoticed if only limited to the Carnatic purist way of music.
