I love the part at 0:37. Oftentimes, when making even a small project, it can feel like you have to make the whole scene to be realistic. But this one moment in the video shows, how traditional filmmaking techniques can be used in 3D. I mean, it's all about creating an illusion!

I'm also making a 20 minute shortfilm with the cycles engine. It's amazing how you achieved this quality with eevee! I'm not using any paid softwares or mocap tho. I hope I can achieve this quality of detail! I've been on it for 6 months and it's in the mid pre-production stage

Question, in the last scene it shows all the elements of the ships, the troops and the focal character being overlayed together. Are they all separate and then come together in compositing or are they all in the same scene?

Martin, you are amazing!!! Following the 3d environment-course, I made the mountain scene, and when I uploaded it to freelance market it was rejected. They said to upload real images not pictures from the scenery. I had to get with support guys and showed them my blender screenshot then they allowed it.
