- Hi Guys
In today's video I am unboxing and assembling my new 2021 Polygon Siskiu D7 Dual Suspension Mountain Bike.
I am new to the world of mountain biking and wanted to get into it for a while so I was looking for a budget friendly dual suspension mountain bike and came across the Polygon Siskiu D7 which had all the bells and whistles I wanted for a beginner mountain bike.
I am super happy with the bike and looking forward to progressing and meeting like minded people in the mountain biking community.
I am not paid by any of the companies mention in this video, all the content is my own impressions and opinions.
Like, share, comment and subscribe and see you guys out on the trails. Keep the front wheel in the air!
Thanks you so much for this unboxing
And thank good your Australian because I can’t understand any other video because it is a different language
Thank You SOO Much Im Buying This Bike Sooner Or Later and This will definitly come in handy
Nice video!
I just had the bike delivered yesterday!
Fun Fact: the key ring is also a bottle opener
Congrats and hope you enjoy it, I love mine!
Im jealous mine didnt come with the same rockshock stickers on fork😢
Sick 😃👍🔥🔥
Love the colour mate, i was just wondering, did the pedals come with the bike???
It does
Good polygon
Dropper post is 30.9 or 31.6 in large size ?
Did it come with the suspension pre loaded?
perfect
good bro
How long you take your bike
Great Video - thank you ...
I bought the D7 for my wife and it arrived yesterday... put it all together - but cannot work out what the little metal piece is in the box with three holes (looks like a backwards J - you can see it at 6:25 at bottom of box next to screws ...
I'm still waiting for the T8 to come in stock ... I HATE WAITING!!!
I love my D7 but the T8 looks like an absolute beast! Let me know what you think of it once you get it!
The part you are referring to is a spare derailleur hanger.
@@ulrichklingenberg226 will do mate ... However its way too flimsy surely. .. that said ... I'm outside now at it seems to fit in the spot where the two holes are behind the crank on the drive side of bike.
@@bluemy03 yeah it fits in the front, think it is for people who want to run a front derailleur or maybe to run a front chain guide or guard of some sorts... Not 100% sure.
The Bicyclesonline guys said its a spare though...
@@ulrichklingenberg226 I think you are right .. the D5 has front derailleur .. they all share same frame .. this looks like the front hanger.
Was thinking of buying the T8. How do you feel Polygon quality matches to other bike brands like Trek, Giant, and Santa Cruz?
My biggest factor making a decision was my budget, comparing the Polygon D7 to the other brands and the components it had on it was the best bang for the $$$.
Is this bike will be used additional in daily routine or size of tyre will create resistance on normal turmor roads. How bike is different from 2020 cream black model?
better rear shock, marginally downgraded drivetrain
@@grmnj downgraded drivetrain in 2021 model. And will i able to use this in my daily commute purpose also
Do u like the d7? Any complaints? Thinking between this and the t7.. wish they had colour options
So far I'm loving the D7. The T7 looks awesome as well. Don't think you will make the wrong choice either way, they both seem to be good bikes for the price.
@@ulrichklingenberg226 thanks
Thanks for the vid. Have you been to the trail with it? What are your impressions so far? Any problems with the bike?
If been to the trails, its holding up pretty good, very happy with it!
My rear cassette came loose after a couple of rides, other than that no issues.
That seems really odd for that to come loose. Did you mean the axle at the rear wheel? I’ll check the cassette on mine when it arrives just in case. I can’t wait to hit the trails with it!
It seems like a common thing, but the bike shop fastened it within a minute, no issues. Always good to check everything after your first couple of rides, but all in all I'm very happy with the bike! 💯
does 2.5" tire width could fit in front?
It comes standard out of the box with a 2.25" front, unsure if the 2.5" would fit but it looks like there should be enough space for it. Let me know if you get any other info on that, would be good to know, thanks!
@@ulrichklingenberg226 sure bro! thanks for the reply. :)
Did u buy the pedals separately
No that's the stock pedals that comes with the bike.
Yo dude dong touch your rotors because it gives u a lot less breaking power. Since u did touch them u should clean them with alcohol
yo dude no one asked
Says the guy who probably has rim brakes on his cheap ass walmart bike
Hahaha
Are the rotors the aluminium disc plates? Cause if they are, won't they get dirty anyways when riding a trail. I mean mud and grit would get in them.
I wish you did it a little slower. I couldn't figure out how to install the saddle post and your video is so fast that ....
I thought it's just me. But apparently the don't give you a spare derailleur hanger.
Voice is not clear , so much echo, however nice video🔥
Thanks for the comment, was struggling to get the sound to work correctly as I was filming in a small space.
