Ooooh!💖 Those are GREAT questions!! There are countless ways to tackle both of the challenges you’re facing so really think about what you want your viewers to feel and experience when they read the flashbacks and endings of your chapters. 1. Cliffhangers work well, concluding a little side story at the end of a chapter (like “monster of the day” anime’s like “Sailor Moon”) are very satisfying, while adventure mangas tend to leave you with a feeling of wanting answers; who was that new enemy? Are they... gonna end up together?! Did he survive that attack?! Other stories like to end with a wholesome or heartfelt moment that makes you feel more connected to the characters. At the end of the day, the reader’s experience must be kept in mind at all times. Make it easy to understand and leave their curiosity peaked 😊💖 I hope I was able to help!
