I'm a struggling mother who now has been successful... So my journey went like this ... i started bottle feeds as he was born but my mother in law forced me to stick on breastmilk only so the first month we gave him formulas and the other month i stopped giving bottle feeds. Then i started again at the age of 5 he accepted bottle but suddenly he started reflecting it. God knows i tried everyday but failed ... my baby was one year old he was sane enough to understand whats going on. I touch the bottle and if he sees the bottle in my hand he started crying everytime ... screams squeeze and tandrums are all the things he did. I left the bottle for one month but again he got me othermonth with the same attitude. Now i stopped breastfeeding him suddenly ... i know its called cold turkey and we should try it slowly but i tried it slowly it did not work. Finally i stopped breastfeeding and gave him bottles he rejected i bought a juice and my baby loveed thww taste i pour it into milk bottle in front of my baby eyes. He took the bottle asap and drank juice ... the next day i replaced juice with alnomd milk flavour .. he drank it but limited next day i gave him buffalo milk mix with flavour and then plain buffalo milk he now takes buffalo milk 😂😂

Philips avent bottle works for me..I was desparate to bottle feed my baby though breast milk is sufficient. I work for almost 14 days 3 to 4 times without compromising feeding..now my 4 month old take both breast and formula from the bottle.so happy
thanks! very useful tips!!! I didn't even think that our baby might need bigger size already but as I found out the different bottles and different nipples change the size at different age, so I will try to switch to bigger size and see how that works.

@@MomComIndia can you do a research on it? It happens very frequently and can lead to depression... After caesarian as the milk production is low it's very easy to introduce a nipple but once that's done the baby won't let it go and start exclusive breastfeeding. Why should they put in an effort when they have an easy way out
My baby also refused to take feed from me Nd he demanded thru bottle...but hav patience Nd try fr a gud nipple shield first fr one or two days...bcz regular use of nipple shield ll reduce the production of milk so max 2 days use nipple shield with correct nipple size...then start to feed directly from breast...however baby demands fr milk through bottle don giv t...always try to feed baby through breast...even f baby don’t take feed...slowly within days baby ll forget d bottle...
My son is 16 months old.when he got his first tooth, Initially he rejected bottle feed during the day so i gave him soft foods. It was not a problem then, but now he does not even want it in night. Then he wakes up hungry and takes only breast feeds. Which is insufficient for him. I feel very exhaused. Even when he is in deep sleep, he doesnt wants to take bottle nipple in his mouth
I'll tell my story, day 1: i applied musaambaram paste both sides and offered him feeding , to my wonder he rejected by seeing the nipple itself, that day he is little bit cranky and didn't asked for feed in the day time. At night upto 4 am my husband managed him to sleep in swing (vuyyala) . My husband tired and asked me to give him feed. I fed him till morning . Day 2: next day he didn't asked in day time, my husband took care of him upto 2am , i fed him from 2am to morning. Day 3: he stopped day time feeding, at night i asked my mil's help , from that night my husband and my mil took care of him. I slept outside the room, they both didn't have sleep at night , my baby didn't drink when they offer milk, they forcefully fed baby with "tonic pillar " Day 4: this day also completed like day 3 Day 5: same as day 3 Day 6: i started taking care of him , he slept peacefully and started drinking milk with glass. * before starting of this process ,We offered horlics milk , he liked the flavour and drunk it. Before he don't like milk and avoided feeding from bottle, sipper, glass anything, when we added little horlics he liked it and excited to drink, after 1 month my mom stopped using horliks as it is not healthy , he is now drinking only milk with light sugar in it.
Wish it works on my 5 months old baby, he really don't want bottlefeed 😭 i need to go back on work this month that's why we're trying to bottlefeed him

I'm telling this with my personal experience.. though you sterilize it, there are chances of germs.. which makes frequent vomiting with your baby..there are chance of choking when not feeding proper position..

hey ...why do u want him to take bottle , have u tried sipper ? have u tried milk in other forms like curd , paneer , porridges ? I am trying to say that its not necessary to drink milk , as long as u are taking calcium in some form your body is good
@@MomComIndia he takes all other forms of milk. But problem is he is not taking milk from bottle, he only want my breast milk. I want to wean him off. So trying alternative as bottle. I tried sipper also , he didn't drink water from sipper bottle.
@@MomComIndia hello dear, my baby weaned off successfully, last oct 17th is the last day of bf , he is drinking milk from glass itself . It took 5 days to us . Those 5 days are soo tough, but worth it. Though he drinks from glass,I got relaxation from cleaning bottles.

Guys, try a small nipple without a wide base. It worked for me. I used Mee Mee bottle after a big war tying avent feeding bottle. My first son used to take avent bottle without any issue but my second did not like it at all. And after 8 months I tried Mee Mee bottle and he s drinking from that

Start giving a combination of the two if you feel that your supply of breast milk is less. He will eventually get used to it. You can try giving Aptamil as it’s closest to breastfeed and has prebiotic.

If not pls do give and my baby drinks pediasure now for some reason she liked flavoured milk but again please consult with your doctor before giving it your baby hence Im able to reduce and cut down breastfeeding. Introducing my 2 month old to a bottle. Using expressed breast milk. He will take the bottle at first but after an ounce or 2 he starts turning his head toward my breast and pushing the nipple out with his tongue. Going to have my husband try and see if he takes more from him
@@nilofershaikh663 he drank only enough to keep starvation at bay for the first weeks or so and would breastfeed when I got home from work. He only took the Phillips avent bottle (after trying NUK, munchkin etc). Eventually he took the bottle without issue.

i tried adding a little bit of sugar properly to my baby's formula milk and it really worked....i was skeptic earlier but som babies r given ghutti and all...even i also give it to my baby who is gassy.... it consists sugar base....so i added a bit of sugar just now to my baby's milk... i m not going to add it everytime...and i also do not suggest it to anyone as every baby is different....i am doing this only to make my baby familiar with the formula once again...would update after a month

although i dont recommend powder but in case of prickly heat powder will benefit fastest so apply a lil powder and let the area breathe....give it air contact ...ensure baby wears only cotton soft fabric ....apply coconut oil at times it also helps but in less quantity ...himalaya prickly heat powder work fast

Why do doctors discourage the use of bottle? If sterilised properly I don't think it poses any problem.

@@zikrakhan503 Try nipple shields love on your breasts. The silicone mimics it but it's so closer to you feeling it like regular breastfeeding!

hey ...why do u want him to take bottle , have u tried sipper ? have u tried milk in other forms like curd , paneer , porridges ? I am trying to say that its not necessary to drink milk , as long as u are taking calcium in some form your body is good

@@MomComIndia hello dear, my baby weaned off successfully, last oct 17th is the last day of bf , he is drinking milk from glass itself . It took 5 days to us . Those 5 days are soo tough, but worth it. Though he drinks from glass,I got relaxation from cleaning bottles.

day 1: i applied musaambaram paste both sides and offered him feeding , to my wonder he rejected by seeing the nipple itself, that day he is little bit cranky and didn't asked for feed in the day time. At night upto 4 am my husband managed him to sleep in swing (vuyyala) . My husband tired and asked me to give him feed. I fed him till morning .
Day 2: next day he didn't asked in day time, my husband took care of him upto 2am , i fed him from 2am to morning.
Day 3: he stopped day time feeding, at night i asked my mil's help , from that night my husband and my mil took care of him. I slept outside the room, they both didn't have sleep at night , my baby didn't drink when they offer milk, they forcefully fed baby with "tonic pillar "
Day 4: this day also completed like day 3
Day 5: same as day 3
Day 6: i started taking care of him , he slept peacefully and started drinking milk with glass.
* before starting of this process ,We offered horlics milk , he liked the flavour and drunk it.
Before he don't like milk and avoided feeding from bottle, sipper, glass anything, when we added little horlics he liked it and excited to drink, after 1 month my mom stopped using horliks as it is not healthy , he is now drinking only milk with light sugar in it.
Guys, try a small nipple without a wide base. It worked for me. I used Mee Mee bottle after a big war tying avent feeding bottle. My first son used to take avent bottle without any issue but my second did not like it at all. And after 8 months I tried Mee Mee bottle and he s drinking from that

Start giving a combination of the two if you feel that your supply of breast milk is less. He will eventually get used to it. You can try giving Aptamil as it’s closest to breastfeed and has prebiotic.

If not pls do give and my baby drinks pediasure now for some reason she liked flavoured milk but again please consult with your doctor before giving it your baby hence Im able to reduce and cut down breastfeeding. Do try everyday one day the kid will accept it.

Introducing my 2 month old to a bottle. Using expressed breast milk. He will take the bottle at first but after an ounce or 2 he starts turning his head toward my breast and pushing the nipple out with his tongue. Going to have my husband try and see if he takes more from him

@@nilofershaikh663 he drank only enough to keep starvation at bay for the first weeks or so and would breastfeed when I got home from work. He only took the Phillips avent bottle (after trying NUK, munchkin etc). Eventually he took the bottle without issue.

although i dont recommend powder but in case of prickly heat powder will benefit fastest so apply a lil powder and let the area breathe....give it air contact ...ensure baby wears only cotton soft fabric ....apply coconut oil at times it also helps but in less quantity ...himalaya prickly heat powder work fast
