Edward Portillo introduced me to Pastor Roger Huang and his work at City Impact in San Francisco. Edward was in my youth group when I was a youth pastor at Mosaic in the late 1990s/early 2000s. He grew up to advocate for those in poverty and help those with mental health issues. He was also an actor and film producer. After Edward's passing at the age of 41, those who have been working with him on the film about Pastor Roger's hunger strike plan to begin filming in 2025. (33daysfilm.com/)
