Today I share the way I make gold in Wrath Classic. It's not exactly the fastest way to do things, but it always works well whenever you decide to do it, and the more practiced you get, the easier it becomes.
This is my main goldmaking method for Wrath Classic.

Hey man, you can get to level 80 if you do both starting zones and the dungeons of them + a few from dragonblight which makes it really efficient since at level 80 the 2 starting zone quests are Grey and don't give much gold

I've played the game for a long time and when I was a broke noob i asked an experienced player how they had so much gold, their response was to "just go play the game" and I think that this is truly the same thing that WillE is saying here. You make the gold by just playing, so doing something worthwhile like leveling an alt to play, gives you both a new toon to enjoy and with some good organization a bit of gold.
I think the "secret" is finding something you like doing within the game to make gold, so that can be anything. I farm gold when I'm bored and have nothing to do, and the one thing I like doing when I'm feeling bored is to fish. Pygmy Suckerfish sells very well and will continue to do throughout the expansion, and if you're fast w/ the fish mechanic and have FasterLooting installed, you can fish around 200 per hour (not even counting the crates with all the goodies inside), which can sell for 400-500g depending on the day - maybe more depending on your server. But again, a lot of things will give you 500g/hour: dailies, dungeon farming, herbs, ores, the list is long.
i made almost 10k from pygmys farming the turtle.
In which zone do you fish tor 200 suckerfish an hour? I can’t get over 120/hour when fishing in Howling Fjord
@@bunnie1111 I fish in Grizzly HIlls starting at the river to the west, then going south and coming back to circle Blue Sky Logging. Depending on the hours it's pretty much all to myself, maybe 2 or 3 other ppl, but the whole area is pretty big to cover. Also, the most eastern isles at the Frozen Sea in Borean Tundra, there are a LOT of schools and they spawn very fast. I don't like Howling Fjord, the lake up from Skorn is good, but once it's all fished, you have to go around the map and there are very few schools compared to the other zones.

YES!! Finally a video about how to make gold the most fun way! That's how I always done it especially during wotlk. At max level the rewards are even better! Go clean the quests out guys, you'll get yourself a few achies too along the way!
When you only level while rested go Borean -> Howling Fjord -> Dragonblight -> Grizzly Hills where you will hit 80. Did this on 2 characters so far. 3rd is on its way now. Whenever I need gold for something I do half a zone.
In a world of gimmicks to “make gold fast” WillE shows us the tried and true method of just “play the game normally” also works very well 👍 additionally, when u have several toons at 80, just doing to super quick dailies like “how to slay your dragon” (31g in 2min? Dont mind if i do!) can net you a ton of gold very quickly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has done this. I'm currently on my 3rd char (lvl 80) finishing up the zones for badge gear and now due to having so many keeper shards and badges I don't need, also have most of the heirlooms saved in the bank. Still have to get both my non mains epic flying though
I'll personally never understand why people who spend all day long on wow somehow dislike leveling but will sit around Dalaran for 4hrs wasting time.
Just started doing this on my primary alt a couple days ago to get his 280 flying. Toon is basically in pre-raid bis and I just cut through everything. It's a great way to make some gold without much effort, just a little time commitment.
Just the method I am using!
Once I am out of quests tho I'll make my gold with my lw and skinning proffs and dailies

Leveling my mage right now who happens to be enchanter. Damn boy that makes gold. You can basically buy mats from the AH enchant scrolls and put them on the AH again for profit. It‘s like printing gold. You don‘t even have to worry about the cost because for some reason there is no AH fee on enchanting stuff. Love it. I should have started with this profession at the start for even more gold haha
This weekend is AV weekend with the insane 50% exp buff, so the perfect time to get all of your alts up to 80 and then be able to go back through and do this for big money whenever you need it.
One additional tip is to get TSM. It makes selling all the random crap you pick up super easy. Also instantly tells you whether it's better to disenchant or vendor your greens. Leveling my hunter from 1-70 I made 5-6k gold auctioning everything that was worth at least vendor price x2, and it took barely any extra effort over vendoring. Basically free gold.
I always fishing every day and make Boe ulduar items. But I think on my server (mirage raceway-alliance) so many bot put items in ah. If I put ~150-200 item he was undercut in 5minutes. I was try at evening, night, morning.... I can't sit in ah all time. I was fighting with him few days but I give up. Now I try sell item in trade Chanel.

i can attest that this method actually works. plus its a lot of fun blowing through mobs as you are completing quests... depending on how good your gear is ofc, and also there is always the best part which is killing alliance along the way as you are making that gold. :)

I also just got my 4th toon up to 80 recently, I think ill stop there even though i have a shaman at 70 ready and its AV weekend, im feeling swamped with these as it is, whats your thoughts on hunter willie? Since you play it as well. Just feels a little dull at the moment.
Friend of mine goes a step further, when he levels a new character he does EVERY quest in outlands, so he come to Northrend at 73ish, i think he made 18k from max level quest rewards since he capped 80 in grizzly hills already. Solid method if you like questing :)

Pretty much the same way I do it. Already have 4 lvl80s (started in mid november), the casual daily heroic and occasional raids are all I really do to gain gold and it's steady 1-2k per week. Also having more and more profs means you don't even need gold that much, I only really need to buy glyphs and flasks at this moment but my druid and paladin are already on their way with those profs. :) DE greens is nice in wrath but only lvl77+ imo.
Last Night i leveled my warrior in sholazar from 77-78 with a short stop in Dalaran in 1 Hour 15 minutes. Shola is a Super fast and easy leveling area.
And people laugh at me for leveling to 80 in BC content. This video explains why. More gold in the end. 👍
Level up alchemy on few alts, get transmute specialization and craft gems every day. Easy +50 gold per day.
But I think the epic gems will be added in ToC patch so you will need to wait a bit.

I made ~400K gold in TBC through crafting beginner / mid lvl epic boe's. Bought everything I wanted in Wrath and haven't worried about gold for one second :)
Was lacking the motivation to level my shaman until the JJ buff came back. Grinded from 24 to 52 in time for the start of AV weekend, got 9 levels really fast. Now I'm sitting here with no power and an estimation of 3 days to restore due to the storm. Just my luck.
Same here, I had a lvl 24 shaman and when I heard about the buff I decided to test it out and leveled up to 30. Then, the buff dropped and I got 38 levels in 6 days, just 30 hours. Today I went from 69 to 78 in 39 avs and lots of quests. And the best part its that I still have lots of quests to do with 5 chars :)))))
im saving all my arctic fur for when the phase 2 comes, i believe is going to go higher in price, is that ok?
Leveling my 6th 80 now and from sending my enchanter boes I’ll accumulated probably 2000 dust, 600 essences, and 150 shards. Essences go for about 25g on my server and shards about 20g
If this video is not WillE dancing atop a mailbox, i am gonna be very disappointed!
Takes me one week with minimal work. I now have. Dalaran ring. Noblescard. Mount with vendors and 2 fully epic gears with enchants and 100+haste pots and flasks. I wont have any more costs xD

Ive been leveling through questing with my alts with the focus on getting northrendloremaster on all for the emblems and gold.
This is counting raw gold from mobs questing and Selling all none boe. Atm its an avarage of 13.2k pr character if u Can finish early zuldrak and start getting bonus gold from questing. I do both starting zones -> dragonblight -> grizzly Hills and then zuldrak. And There i end up hitting 80. Early to mid zuldrak. Ive got 4 80 now that Way. And just did my nr 5 to 80 with 50% also But with restedxp with speeded up the leveling alot. But Havnt done questing full yet since im on my next already whilst we have the buff.
Sorry for the Wall of text :) But questing with 50% buff and restedxp guide is by far the fastest Way to 80 for all classes.
One thing I'm trying to do just now is level a lot of my alts to cap while we have joyous journeys and then circle back to them for the gold questing after the buff goes in mid January. Hopefully got 6 alts by then to tap in to when the gold coffers get low.

Same. My nr 6 is 73 and got another level 60 waiting. Rest is around level 20. But hopefullt Will get One of each class before long.
I found that a good gold farming is icc + storm peaks dailies. Easily 400+ gold in less than an hour.
Farming mine ores in icecrown is brutal, i earn rly good value of gold per hour-or two there..

Making gold is often a time sensitive process. I managed to make around 20k gold in around a month almost exclusively from jewelcrafting, mass prospecting Saronite. Selling cut Scarlet Rubies early on was mega bucks (before the market was flooded), orange and yellow gems also sold well - and then cutting and vendoring other gems or crafting and vendoring cheap rings. It was quite a grind, but effective.
I've stopped actively grinding gold until Ulduar, then I'll do it again for a while (when demand for gems shoots back up again), but really I'm waiting for ToC when epic gems are released.
I don't need much gold anymore, I have enough to last me for the next six months probably.
I play on a small alliance server and completely took over the JC market for my realm, made of 57k gold from the mass prospecting. Bought out rare recipes such As str/hit ,str/crit, str/stamina and more. So even orange and purple gems became very valuable to me . Much harder to sell now, but I have 3 characters with max JC and make 3 daily icy prisms which keeps the gold ticking over
U might think that stuff like mining and herbing mats are cheaper on lets say Firemaw where I play, but trust me its not, theres just too many bots.
Ur best option for mining is just do Mara runs/reset
havent even watched yet but I can't stress this enough, just play wotlk and you will get gold pretty much equal to the amount of time spent playing(productively)
With av weekebmnd and the xp buff you can reach 80 in no tune with 100% of northrend quests to do at 80

Doing your dailies is also a great way if you don’t feel like questing.
Mining & JC are particularly rewarding in my opinion. You can do a Titansteel bar every day, and doing the JC daily gives you a token which can be used to buy Dragon’s eye. On Whitemane [H], a Titansteel bar is currently ~115g/average, while a Dragon’s Eye is currently ~130g/average. If you do this every day 7 days a week that comes out to 1,715g/week. Of course if you have multiple alts with different professions (or the same professions), you can easily double or triple this.
Sadly the WG buff is bugged on my server we win then we lose the buff. It's been like this for 2 months. No word from blizz for a fix. It seems to only affect us on alliance .

If you have multiple alts just learn Transmute Master on all of them
It does not feel like JJ buff is being added to AV Weekend.
And this is why i might make a 2nd warrior and level him up with heirlooms, just to be my pvp gold farm warrior...
I've been fishing and turning my pygmies into oil and selling about 1k speed potions every two days lol
How long does it take you to get 1k potions ? I'm considering fishing the pygmie fishes but idk
@Neltherya it really depends on how many others are fishing. I got enough in about 6 hours and getting lucky on the double pygmy oil from the. One fish. I use water walking and don't fly like others do I think im slower than you can be. I also use rested XP money guides for routes.

i usually just find something in low quantity on the action house and buy it all out and jack the price up by double on a few stacks at first, and just keep watch because most people will just have the undercut percentage going, so refresh and make sure your always the lowest bid and since its a low quantity item on the AH, your not dealing with a massive sells, but you can move your own stock pretty quick before the price falls below where its just more time than profit, people will pay jacked up prices

Items bought from the auction house that don't include significant parts of vendor bought stuff aren't gold sinks. A gold sink is something that takes gold out of the game, like repairs, the mounts or riding. Glyphs, darkmoon cards or other player farmed and crafted items are not gold sinks.
Run EOE 10 on each of your characters, HR Surge Needle Ring, Sell ring for 10-15k.

I wonder how many players like myself there are, who actually want to play again, but just arent willing to spend so many hours into leveling up their character. Sure, if you didnt play WOTLK back in the days, it is a nice experience, but I had almost 10 max chars back then and just dont want to invest so much time again only to be it over one year later anyways.
Guess you could buy a lvl 70 boost and start from there to skip some of the grind

I tried this with the lvling gear and it was bullshit, you get the same amount of gold regardless if you have it on or not.

Assuming you do quests at a decent pace, the gold per hour from lv 80 questing can be right up there with most of the best gold farms for sure.
Neither in WoW, nor in real life, I have 10k gold :D
TSM earns you the most gold
I been doing gdkp’s on my Alf’s. I’m at 44k now. That’s good enough for me
Coming from a classic player who’s never bought gold before. Easiest/fastest passive gold farms I could find are flipping and investing. Lastly get some alts ready for weekly gdkps. Use TSM, go to reports for your professions, make the items that have a high sale rate+decent profit. I made enough for a repair mammoth, a chopper, and still have over 30k gold for spending. All I do is flip gems. For example, veiled MT usually goes for 15g-20g profit on my server.
Gdkp and AH flipping… the two worst things ever to exist in WoW. No real wow player that actually enjoys the game is gonna do that bro 🤦♂️

That's what I always try to do when playing on a new _(PRIVATE ONLY, F BLIZZARD FOR BLITZCHONG AND WOKENESS)_ server, especially TBC:
maximize the XP i get from non-quests so I can have more spare quests to do at cap for extra gold.
I'm solo player mostly and I enjoy quests probably more than anything but PvP so yeah :P Always my preferred route.
You could just go BS. I make 2500 gold a day with minimal effort. Maybe 1 hour of work a day. I have 100k gold on 2 characters from bs alone

its much easier to run eoe10 with all ur characters with snr hr, one week i made 30k like that spending lile 2 hours total.
