It's great that Metallica plays this enormous classic song from ...AJfA album! Since when I was younger, this song hooked me in such way that i say that this is one of the Best Masterpiece from the album, it's powerful, melodical, agressive, amazing drumming tempo sticks, the riffs are assessins, the solos are brutals, James voices is like the Metal God he is our beloved frontman Jamen Alan Hetfield... Outstanding in all sense this Máster classic The Shortest Straw! Yeaaaah!!!
Metallica NEED to play the album justice for all more often! This is the best album in general but somehow the guys hate it. But every song is perfect. Blackened is a better battery, the song ajfa is a better master of puppets, to live is to die is.... not as orion but nice. Damn i love it
I wondering if Rob is the dude when it comes to helping Lars find the right tempo. He seems to be the most gifted musician in the band. When they have these type of introductions or pulses in songs he is always watching Rob.
James said in a recent interview Lars has a click in his ears. He’s telling Rob the tempo. Idiot. Do you have autism. At 0:09 Lars is getting everyone’s attention and is telling them it’s a 4 count
As always Lars deletes every fills that makes the song a drumming masterpiece on record. Never ever honors anything he has done. Just freestyling with absolute crap instead. Don´t know why. Either he does´nt give a shit or he his just to bad to play it
@PhilipMertens what do you mean with "nobody?. Do you know everybody or just speaking for everybody? That seems a bit arrogant, cause I know some people who agree with me. And the internet is full people with that opinion. Especially people who like drums. Like me. And I know he is up their and I 'm not😂. What has that to do with anyhing? Lars is still destroying his own songs.
Because when you play big venues for 35 years straight, you know what works and more importantly, what doesnt work. Al lot of fills played on the album just dont cut through on big stages with huge sound. In the end its all about the song, the melody and groove, not so much about this or that specific fill.
@@wout808 Hahaha their is absolutly no way that could be true😂. What are you talking about? Lars doesn't do anything else live then playing fills every two second. He just doesn't play song the way they were written. Never has. He freestyle every night and its much much worse. And their are a lot of drummers playing big venues. They don't delete 90% of drum parts. Of course the dont. My god....
Jesus Christ that guitar tone is perfect.

Finally, the 72 Seasons tone reaches it's heaviest. Also, this is the 100th performance of my fav tallica song
They on fire
Is anyone going to mention James mariachi pants 🤘🏼🔥
Love this song! Love this album!
Yeah! Best tallica Album.
I cant understand why the Band hate this album
It's kind of a bummer they never play the song in it's entirety but this was still damn good.
They did tho ??
Finally Lars nailed that intro 😅😂
He play it also in 2021
@@elialunetta1986 and in 2009 also, guitar hero meme thing was just for fun
@@crawlinger1 Except that "joke" stopped to be funny since then

They're both rhythm instruments so its natural that they look at each other when doing an intro like this
WOO
Great solo.

I can do that, no problem
Pretty Please 🙏
Just play your old stuff.
