The kid's got great rhythm, Hogle, but you shouldn't be that excited about a 7-year-old playing bass, snare, bass, snare, bass, snare, high hat, high hat. I go to a youth music workshop at Tipitina's about once every month and every time I go there's at least one 8-year-old that's as good as I am, if not better.

They have a similar sound but you might could say their stuff is a little bit more raw as they recorded their most famous albums in the mid to late 1960s. Check them out, The Sonics likely inspired Foo Fighters, The Ramones, EODM, and many other great bands!

I like how they’ve put their own stamp on this classic song rather than do a strait laced version of it which is what other artists who have covered it have done. Although I’m not a fan of this band as such, I give them kudos for covering one of my favourite 80’s nostalgia numbers. Go guys! :)
