Sooo nice to see that you enjoyed your stay. Please consider Lofoten in the winter time, from mid january and out the sun is peeking about the horizon, making such beautiful skies. Remember to visit Henningsvær, and tast those cinnamon buns, WORLD CLASS!
Hallo, I love it! Eg elsker det! har sett episode 1 , og skal deffently sjå alle. I surffed on Stadt. Now ten years back. Hoddevika Stadt is It a bit more south,& 150-300people surffed on a weekend. But Lofoten is ofcourse way amazing. the place to go. The best vawes and stuff/allaroynd nature, . I guess the Norwegian Surf season just started😅😊and goes until 15decembre. Have fun !
13:43 that is a trout and not salmon! 😆But very good video with awesome storytelling! I am from Norway, but have still not visited Lofoten as I live and study all the way down in the south, and grew up in Oslo. But one day I will. :)
Glad you enjoyed my country, and the area where i was borne. But,. its quite a big difference living there all year araound, than to visit in the best weeks in summer. Winter gets very long and cold/lonesome. You should have gone on a mountain top trek, and enjoyed the midnight sun :)
4:25 The geological definition of a Fjord, is a valley created by a glacier running into the ocean. What typically defines the fjord, is having one or more thresholds (often at the mouth), where the water is much shallower than on either side. This is where the glacier met the ocean, began to float and leave all the rocks that it had pushed down the valley. Not all fjords have high mountains at each side, but those that do, are often also incredibly deep inside their threshold. Because of land-rise, several fjords (or parts of them) are fresh-water lakes, as their thresholds have risen above sea-level. Fjords that are still connected to the ocean, might have distinct differences in the ecosystem caused by the threshold. Colloquially, anything that looks remotely like a fjord on the surface, might end up being called a fjord without meeting the gelogical criteria. In other words: If it's named a fjord, keep calling it a fjord, but if you are uncertain, look to the geological definition.
I can't imagine what it would be like to live in China. We only hear rumors about it in Europe, and not many people are talking about it. I moved to northern Norway 11 years ago, near Lofoten. I see you travel a lot, which is cool. I'm glad you enjoy Lofoten. As for the comment below, it's very brave to travel so far and so often. Alex
Lofoten is very hit or miss, the weather is either good or really bad. The one summer I went there we had to wear wool the whole time💀. Love seeing you enjoy it and the surfing!
Awesome videos on Norway surfing and also from China before too. Make sure you come to surf in Taiwan when you're back from Norway as best surf season from now until March and you'll love surfing here 🏄♂️👍
Amazing video. I'm from Canada, and I moved to Australia for the warm weather and water, so I think you are both brave and crazy. 😂 Come to Noosa. You will love it.
@@SaltyCheeks the main points are more of a longboard wave, so although it can get busy when good, it's not bad. There aren't a ton of "locals," so you are often out there with people on working holidays or vacation. As well, there are quite a few surf spots around, so you don't have to all cram into one spot. Plus you have other world class waves within 2-3 hours like Snapper Rocks, Burleigh, and the Byron waves. Water is 23c-25c year round.
I, myself, is not a fan of salmon. However I am very fond of real sea cod and pollack. Try to steam a fresh cod and eat with potatos, real butter and yellow onion, with cod liver. I can eat till I drop. Same with fried pollack in sour cream sauce. OMG! Food porn right there! :D
This is how people should "vlog", nothing superficial, just you & your experience. People need a 1000d things to be entertained nowadays, just look at the scenary come on
The one she picked up at 13:44 in the store was "Ørret"/trout but the one she ended up eating was laks/salmon. You can see it says "Laks"/salmon on the package at 15:29.
@@TheSiliconeVeilWell spotted. I was thinking to myself that it did look like salmon in the pan. In my opinion trout is better, but it's so much harder to cook and season properly. It's almost impossible to ruin salmon. Even raw or overcooked it's still good.
If you ever come back to norway pls tell me. And I'll show u the best place to surf. Alnes is the place, on a small island 20 mins from Ålesund. I'm sure my girl friend who loves to surf will let u stay at her place for free. And I can be ur driver if needed. For free. All the best.😊
