I'm so glad to finally have this posted! In this video I show all stages through three different routes. You can obtain a medal in each stage for getting high enough hit score, which is included in this video. I only get the medal once per each stage though (doing it again seems pointless, as the medal saves through additional playthroughs). There's not so much a specific strategy tied to these medal scores but you do need to use your charged shots correctly. When there's a group of 5 ships, you can take them all out with a single charged shot as long as you hit the one in the middle. This offers more points than shooting them individually. Obtaining medals isn't super hard except for the charged shots, because the game has the tendency to lock on the wrong enemy it seems. Also, important to note is that Venom 1 and Venom 2 count towards the same medal. The Venom 2 is much easier however and Venom 1 seems to be considered the hardest medal in the game. Anyway, the medals aren't necessary for anything but getting them all unlocks Expert difficulty. For most people I think this game is much better played casually, without going after the medals. It's a great game with good framerate for the system

Such an iconic game on the N64! Star Fox 64 has been an incredible success and many people consider it to be one of the greatest video games of all time! It’s such a fantastic experience and I love it for that reason!
Fox is one of my favorite nintendo characters. I'm so glad you took this game seriously. But some parts that you nearly died at and whew, that was a close call.

This is such a fun game, I still play it today! Sometimes I find the gameplay quite hard on some planets, especially when you’re surrounded by obstacles.
This is a great game to just rediscover one afternoon and play through again. It's too bad gaming went the way it did and there's not much room for arcade-like games like Starfox anymore

One of the first games I ever 100% with no help from my brother or friends, the second was Majora’s Mask. I hope Nintendo can make a new one for Switch or at least port Star Fox Zero to be more like the others ( not having to use the controller screen to aim like on the Wii U). Star Fox 64 is still very fun, and still looks great.

I first played this game on the 3DS version. I gotten all the medals and unlocked Expert Mode. That version is much easier as it has a save option whereas the N64 does not have that feature.
Great long play, but your combat against new Star Wolf and final Andross would've been better if you used the U-Turns and Loops more. When Andross brain gets on your tail, it's hard to get around him without them

Not really. If you hook your Elgato up to your N64 and just select 1440x1080 resolution settings in OBS you should be good. Stretch to fit screen
