Just replayed the entire campaign. As a kid I always adored the Red Army missions and the ones on Peleliu, but after my recent playthrough I have a newfound love of the Blackcats level. It's overstated but they just don't make them like they used to. Treyarch did good.
I gotta say the same. Literally just did a replay myself and had a ton of fun with the BlackCats level too, they really put a lot of soul into the game.
Blackcats was AMAZING. That beat while you were bombarding the ships, I remember I showed it to some friends on my birthday party and the PC was connected to my dad's sound system and he came and told me to keep it down (there were more people outside). Good times, man

Germany tanks were so powerful that it could blast a person flying across the square. That made sense for Dimitri Cheesekov too, as he was full of bullet holes after each mission. A mere main gun shot from the back worth nothing but a bhop boost.
Theres another area where you could do this. Right before you head downstairs to engage in the fire sequence, theres a broken mannequin you can jump on and jump on the railing and do a trick jump and a opening that drops you outside to the same area where Amsel is. However I couldn't replicate it on PC unlike console, and this is way faster.
My favorite Call of Duty! The atmosphere and scale they capture are unreal. Really helps immerse you into the battlefront of WWII. And the game still holds up remarkably well after all these years.

Literally you compare how the Japanese are portrayed in this game compared to Vanguard, they torture you and then kill a comrade right in front of you all the while through the campaign: they straight up BONZAI CHARGE YOU FROM NOWHERE. Talk about edge of your seat stuff....meanwhile Vanguard's like "Do you speak-a Japanese?" Lol, if you enjoyed Vanguard good on ya...but there is honestly no discernable comparison b/w the two. WaW is just far superior in quality storytelling and game play.

This was one of the big reasons I loved cod games, I spent hours in almost every cod since Black Ops just messing around on maps trying to do out of bounds glitches. Even though you get nothing from it, it was still just so much fun to do.

I really hate how how 80% of the mission is fighting your way through an entire city block so you can go 20 feet. Also, if he used the pistol from the first room he would have gotten an achievement if he didn't have it already.

It is so fun... Many years ago I played Half Life 1 and I managed to escape from the train you traveled in, in the beginning by jumping out of the window... found out that most of the NPC reacted to sound so crawled silently throug most of the game... in Half Life 2 I used the gravity gun to pick one of those selfshooting machineguns... they never run out of ammo... and kill everything that moves so I just carried it in front of me, and every time I met an enemy I just released on the ground and it startede killing everything... finding shortcuts is soo cool... but can also get you stuck in the game
The first time I played WaW's campaign I did it on veteran and got every achievement to get them all in one run. The Reichstag was about as hard as Halo 2 on legendary in some respects. This was one of the better CoD's as far as the campaigns. Very good.
This is literally the best mission in any call of duty by far, really made me feel like a sniper was about to claim me. And waking up next to all those dead bodies really made me feel like i was in a world war. wouldn't wanna skip this one.

That’s because the entities are bounded to be at that specific place, after the tank fires at the building, the short “animation”, which in this case is cinematic takes place and overrides the movement of the entities for that specific scene, making them spawn at the place the cinematic occurs.
You killed richtofen! This was a classic man, this was the only way I was able to get that pistol achievement back in the day cuz I was in junior high and didn’t care to get good. Also had the benefit of expanding the mind cuz I came up with theories saying this guy is richtofen since they have the same character models. I assumed after we killed richtofen here we sent him to a darker timeline to live out the zombies timeline.

To be honest, I'm really not surprised how areas of the game that typically the normal person wouldn't go into, is in rather exceptionist condition!!
