Don't forget to wipe the oil filter mounting surface on the engine, before installing the new filter. Grit can cling to the old oil on that mounting boss. I always use fresh oil, not old oil, for the rubber gasket on the new filter. For those of us without a lift, what is the correct center jack point for a hydraulic floor jack? Is there a cross member strong enough to hold the weight of the front of the car, while jacking up and placing the support stands?
You can use a couple of ramps or jack stands. In a driveway I like to use ramps because it is easy to drive onto and a little easier than jack stands. I use ramps similar to these amzn.to/48FFmeZ
You should invest in an oil drainer so the oil isn't goin all over your floor to then end up in customers cars 😂 and wipe the oil filter mounting pad clean before installing a new filter looks like a rough old set up to me 😂
Yes, Even this can be confusing if you are laying under the car on a creeper. Thanks for checking out our video that shows you how to change the oil on a Toyota Camry. Have a great day!
One of the best I’ve seen. Not only changed the oil but checked things that should be checked during an oil change. Well done! Thank you!
Glad it helped, thanks for watching!
