If you angle the remnant armor so it is facing the same way the sprite/talking head in FO2 it does not look so different. The old helmet is not so smooth because of wear and tear over the years. And it always were meant to look like a wasp head, same way the OG veribird looks like a dragonfly. The kids in New Reno call Enclave soldiers in PA "bug men". They were always going for the insect theme with them. Besides that yes, mod for the bulkier PA does good for the Enclave PA but man, Hellfire helmet looks like a freaking elephant. In other cases, good list.
Enclave helmets have an animal theme to them, the APA has a vulture look, the Enclave power armor from 3 has a bat look, and the hellfire armor helmet has a cow look.
Ironically, I would say that the Modiphus did the APA MK2 better than Bethesda did in Fallout 3. Despite being a miniature model, the Wasteland Warfare depiction makes the armor a lot smoother, and even has the god-awful oversized forehead slightly smaller.
Just gonna come and say it. Titans of the New West look absolutely ridiculous and I have no idea why people enjoy it. It turns everyone in power armor into a goofy ass sunday morning villain with those proportions. I will NEVER understand why it is so beloved yb the community.

Not trying to be a nv fanboy but i think the remnants armor did it best. Looks like an aged suit of fallout 2 power arnor too me. Just a shame they couldnt give the impression of you being bulkier eith it.domt get me wrong i love fallout 3's arnor aswell i like to see all the suits together. Then they give off the vibe of being specilist suits. I feel like like remnants would be the heavy gunners wielding miniguns. The black devil using laser rifles and plasma rifles and the hellfire just generally incinerating enemies. Seems like the dream team too me
I still think the 2d sprite of APA is my favorite power armor design. I personally like the top heavy appearance of old power armors and little restriction on the legs. I think TOTNW and the FO4 APA mod best captures how they looked in the classic games for me.

Fallout 2 takes place in New California, which is almost identical in shape to regular California while New Vegas takes place in an area around Las Vegas in Nevada. The armor most likely has a different shape due to the distance it has been kicked around
Not a bad video. But… you're just nitpicking. Remnants is the closest APA in 3D we can have. The main issue is the low polycount due to the game engine. Obsidian did a good job portraying it.

Scalding hot take: X-01 HELMET is better than APA HELMET. The armor is better on the advanced power armor, but the shape of the helmet is very silly compared to the X01 version. The 2d sprite of APA has a good helmet though and the FNV variant fixes a few of my issues with it (which is cool and all but the armor looks like ass)
Me personally I don’t care for the look of the fallout 3 and New Vegas power armor, the design looks cool but it’s the fact it doesn’t give off “power armor” in fallout 4 it feels more like a own man army walking tank.
Yeah, although 4 lacked a few things NV and 3 did well, 4 did power armor way better. IMO the Fo4 X-01 body looks the best out of all the versions, and the helmet is not that bad either

(IMO) Advanced Combat Power Armor is the bootleg with incomplete blueprints of the X-01. The X-02 is the ACPA MKII, but with the complete blueprints.

MK2 на деле очень похожа на концепт-арты от Fallout: Tactics (главным образом, шлем), так что я не думаю что она настолько не вписывается во вселенную
