You can also use shift-v to enter photo mode if you see a vista you like (such as on that mountain in France. You’ve got a drone camera so you can also take selfies with those views in the background. I enjoy snapping pictures like a tourist.
there are even better ways to get out and start the actual game by walking. You can chose to begin with your plane on the ground. And there are even ways to move your plane directly in YXZ directions from the air to the ground without flying/crashing
you can also just click anywhere on the planet, and at the top left under your departure you can choose to start on the ground. No need to crash the plane.

It's part of the game. In MFS2020 you also could walk, but it was more like a camera mode. Now you are really walking there.
