It's funny how people just believe what nolan shows them, half of the things in movie are complete nonsense and still people praise it just because....its nolan
fucking awesome this movie was, the concept, soundtracks, acting, it was all great, i watch this over an over now, this has changed the way i see sleep
Silent Stone It was left ambiguous on purpose, you realise? You can interpret the ending in different ways, what’s awesome about it for me is it makes you, after finishing the movie, question whether reality even matters, if he can see and love his children.
Inception isn't a rip off of the Matrix. The only similarities are that both movies have fight sequences, the twist being that the laws of physics can be altered, because the mind can manipulate them while in the dream world. The tone and style is very different, and the story lines are completely different. They are both incredible, well-made, thought provoking films.
Everytime I'm depressed I believe Cobb is still dreaming at the end. Everytime I'm in a good mood I believe he is in reality and that everything is ok.
F**k yesss!!! Please let Tom Hardy take the mantle!! But you never know these days they might have to make James Bond an activist who is a non-binary trans mutant with him/her pronouns….SMH….😏😒😒 I can’t believe you commented on this 9 years ago. Makes me feel really old…😂
I just watched this film last night. A film like this only comes around once every ten to twenty years. Best sci-fi film I have ever seen. What a ride.
Every time I think about Inception, the ending scene at the airport and him meeting his children comes to mind. Pure Epicness. The track 'Time' by Hans Zimmer was perfect.
Because Nolan casts so well that he has found actors that can do different roles perfectly, and likes working with those actors because they're that good :)
Inception is not your average film. Most critics note the lack of story and character development, and while there's a little truth to that, they're so missing the point. I can't remember who, but someone once said that what makes Inception so great is that it dares you to think, unlike most films that will hold your hand. When Cobb sits down with Ariadne he explains in depth how the dream world works, it instantly became one of my all time favorite movie scenes.
Its been so long since Inception came out and it never gets old. Sends chills down my spine, heart racing and yet it also makes me cry. The best film of all time, Inception had it all and it is simply a master piece.
If it falls its real if it keeps spinning then it is dream. So its real because the top began to wobble and fall, unlike in the dreams where it doesnt stop
I can tell you because this stuff I have experienced. This is lucid dreaming maybe the best explanation you could get. Only difference is that you cant die or you cant kill anyone all you can do is fight or run
So technically this movie is a lucid dream in a dream in a dream in a dream... Or just a dream in a dream in a dream in a dream... That's so confusing...
one of the best scenes is when cobb is talking to mal how they did have a long life together and they show them as a old couple...by far this is the best movie ive seen
And the best part of all: the ending. Some of us want to believe that Cobb's dream finally came true after everything he'd been through - watching his wife die twice, having everyone think YOU KILLED HER and knowing that you're to blame for her suicide, he gets to go home to his darling children who he hasn't seen in forever! Along with the theory that Cobb's real totem is his wedding ring (the top was Mal's), this makes us WANT to believe!
Critics are dumb they say this movie is too confusing what they want everything to be thrown at you? Also my favorite part was when fishers dad tells him he was disappointed with pride while the small base building explodes while the van falls and while the elevator falls
you missed my favorite part! when they all woke up in the plane.. the look on their eyes, the eye contact they had that they all knew what was going on along with the music was priceless.
@Andyfletcher1 You cannot wake yourself using a kick within a dream. However, you can wake yourself by dying. Jumping off the building (level 4) and blowing up the building (level 3) are examples of dying in order to wake up. Crashing the lift (level 2) and crashing the van into the water (level 1) are examples of using a kick.
Another way to confirm it was not a dream is the faces on the cildren. We see this scene allot of time in this movie, but never ther faces. We can conclude with that he has no memory of that and that means it's no possible way to see their faces in a dreAM
@KittiKatti1 More about the Director's ambiguity: Also at the end when Cobb meets Saito in limbo, theoretically he reminds Saito about their deal and Saito kills Cobb then himself thereby waking them up. However, you never see Saito actually kill Cobb. He grabs the pistol...then Cobb wakes up on the plane.
A horribly selfish man Cobb risking all his friends. Brilliant movie. Arthur was my favourite character. Beautiful soundtrack. My favourite scene was when Cobb touched Mal's foot at the beginning of the film before he tied the rope to her chair. It was just so full of love.
Wendy Flay Of course he's selfish! And for good frickin' reason, and any decent person who truly loved his family more than all else would've done the same ;) I agree... brilliant.
she saw tha cobb was careful when things were blowing up and she said if this is just a dream why are you trying to protect yourself, even if you die you weak up in reality
no saito didnt want anything from from fischer but to plant an idea in fischers head, the part where fischer opend the safe to find the windmill and heard his fathers last words, it meant to him that his father wanted him to make his own empire not follow in his footsteps, thus giving fischer the idea to bring down his fathers empire srry if my explanation is vague
No special effect in Inception is unique. Everything was done afore. Nolan is like a politician spoting BS and like drones you eat them up. Nolan drones.
Me watching the clip 1 minute in and listening to the preceding creaking and groan as the landscape flips over onto itself: ......ohhh-kkaaaayyyy......so...that's not creepy at all....
I tried to make a compilation like this. I ended up taking the whole movie except the casting. Wait, I took that too the music during that was awesome.
Well the ending of TDKR could be seen as Caine's character imagining the scene. He talked about how he imagined it before. He was also quite clearly upset by the death of Wayne, which would make him want to see him alive even more. Although I guess this theory can be disproved by the fact that Selina Kyle is sitting alongside Wayne. Alfred never knew of any romantic relationship between Wayne and Kyle.
Inception is one of the best films of this generation, but think about the following paradox: how on Earth would Robert Fischer not have realised he just slept through a 15 hour day flight, or at least be suspicios about the circumstances?
I love everything about this film, its just so perfect. Christopher Nolan and all the other people who worked on this film are truly master minds
Except for the many plot holes.
@@abernier1401 elaborate
It’s a MASTERPIECE of cinema
It's funny how people just believe what nolan shows them, half of the things in movie are complete nonsense and still people praise it just because....its nolan
fucking awesome this movie was, the concept, soundtracks, acting, it was all great, i watch this over an over now, this has changed the way i see sleep
***** in truth, they can talk, some of them atleast, go watch the illse's journal
Too bad the end wasn't clear enough
Silent Stone basically, he made it back to reality because you can tell the spinner is about to stop
Silent Stone
It was left ambiguous on purpose, you realise? You can interpret the ending in different ways, what’s awesome about it for me is it makes you, after finishing the movie, question whether reality even matters, if he can see and love his children.

+Beck Riches I freacking love both of them
wow that last scene just gives you the chills haha
Everytime I'm depressed I believe Cobb is still dreaming at the end.
Everytime I'm in a good mood I believe he is in reality and that everything is ok.
it was confirmed that he is not dreaming
4:20 is proof that Tom Hardy would be a great James Bond.
F**k yesss!!! Please let Tom Hardy take the mantle!!
But you never know these days they might have to make James Bond an activist who is a non-binary trans mutant with him/her pronouns….SMH….😏😒😒
I can’t believe you commented on this 9 years ago. Makes me feel really old…😂

The hallway scene is the most brilliant scene of any action movie.
I just watched this film last night. A film like this only comes around once every ten to twenty years. Best sci-fi film I have ever seen. What a ride.
9:53. I was literally blowing on the screen to try and make it topple over.
it never fell
One of the greatest films I've ever seen. Hands down.
Every time I think about Inception, the ending scene at the airport and him meeting his children comes to mind. Pure Epicness. The track 'Time' by Hans Zimmer was perfect.

Nice selection of scenes. Makes me want to see it again - for the fourth time.
Watch this video, one of the best decisions I ever made.
i think aside from the Batman movies.. every Nolan movie I've watched I've come out of the theater like "wwwhhhhaaaaaaaa???" in the good way.
Those hotel scenes are amazing, I have no idea how Nolan shot all of that shit and made it look so damn real.
Its been so long since Inception came out and it never gets old. Sends chills down my spine, heart racing and yet it also makes me cry. The best film of all time, Inception had it all and it is simply a master piece.
If it falls its real if it keeps spinning then it is dream.
So its real because the top began to wobble and fall, unlike in the dreams where

Ask Siri what Inception is about!
I can tell you because this stuff I have experienced. This is lucid dreaming maybe the best explanation you could get. Only difference is that you cant die or you cant kill anyone all you can do is fight or run

i never noticed that guy giving the finger as hes backing off the bridge. 3:39
great video. The funny thing is that this video is pretty much the whole movie in 10mins
So technically this movie is a lucid dream in a dream in a dream in a dream... Or just a dream in a dream in a dream in a dream... That's so confusing...
are sure your not leaving a dream?
The Thumbnail for Top Ten special effects that's displayed immediately after this could not come at a more perfect time
one of the best scenes is when cobb is talking to mal how they did have a long life together and they show them as a old couple...by far this is the best movie ive seen
best of inception should be the whole movie
And the best part of all: the ending.
Some of us want to believe that Cobb's dream finally came true after everything he'd been through - watching his wife die twice, having everyone think YOU KILLED HER and knowing that you're to blame for her suicide, he gets to go home to his darling children who he hasn't seen in forever!

Now, this a epic movie
Thanks Christopher Nolan an Hans Zimmer TTuTT.
The scenes one of the best in the movie by joseph gordon levitt in hallway....
Hard to believe this movie is almost 10. I really regret not seeing this movie in theatres.
Man whenever I see the ending I can still hear the audience on opening night OOHing and AHHing as the thing shakes but keeps spinning.
Chris Nolan continues to amaze.
All of my Dreams were similar to those in Inception :P
Dreams turning to Popcorn all around you after Cobb is pushed into the water.
you missed my favorite part! when they all woke up in the plane.. the look on their eyes, the eye contact they had that they all knew what was going on along with the music was priceless.
the final three kick is my favorite part of the film.. bff its perfect with the music and all.

Makes me wonder what the Matrix would have turned out to be if Nolan was the director...

she saw tha cobb was careful when things were blowing up and she said if this is just a dream why are you trying to protect yourself, even if you die you weak up in reality
The mission was never about Fischer........ think about it. It was all about Cobb.
My favorite
1:35 mind blowing
this is how movie should be made
The scene with Eames skiing backwards and shooting should have been in this video.
no saito didnt want anything from from fischer but to plant an idea in fischers head, the part where fischer opend the safe to find the windmill and heard his fathers last words, it meant to him that his father wanted him to make his own empire not follow in his footsteps, thus giving fischer the idea to bring down his fathers empire srry if my explanation is vague
it's funny guz in 04:22 he had plenty of time to throw the bomb away

This is that movie when Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy became friends ☺️
