As the president and founder of DEVILLENS cadillac club I approve of this build🤙. I've been hot rodding cadillac's for years. Have a few on my channel if you're interested. Building my 79 coupe "devillen" right now. It has a compound blown twin turbo bbc and slicks under the ass.
Was working on a "84 along the lines of what you are doing. Sad to say, the car burnt, along with some others, in a building that caught fire in a storm. Still looking for a replacement.
im also doing an LS swap on my 83 deville. can you help me on the best route to go with exhaust system. i have mid range headers and no exhaust. need size of piping, which performance mufflers( prefer a quite sound), xpipe and resonators or not. my engine will be a naturally aspired LQ9 6.0. is there anyway i can contact you instead of using this current method. need help with other mechanical upgrades. thank you
I swapped a 425 into my 83 Coupe and seeing this one makes me wanna go LS lol. Looks good!!! What is your total price of everything for this swap or can you get me a parts list?
@@bignip2000 I know what you mean. I would say to leave the 425 in there, but it's very tempting to not ignore the reliability of an LS motor 😎. I purchased the car without the 4100 it originally came with and decided to go LS. My original plan was to put an LT1 motor in it, but opted out due to the Opti Spark being faulty and located near the water pump. If anything, definitely look into doing an LS swap. Weigh the pros and cons to see if it will work out for you. I will give you a heads up. For the frame motor mounts, use the rear holes to bolt the mounts down. Hope this helps 💯
I'd like to see what u do with that factory wiring it's a nightmare trying to check fusses in my 1984 still haven't gotten a LS found for mine or got HVAC and fuel data to even turn on can't get my ht4100 to run 100% percent so that engine needs to go elsewhere
sad last 6months engine wound up popping 6 of the 8 cylinders had cracks out side block with zero coolant loss untill I pulled radiator hose didn't disect it called it a loss
80s Cadillac cars don't get enough love - liked and subscribed!!!

It is cool. You should paint it black and murder it out. That fast couch.

'84 Fleetwood coupe owner here doing an LS swap. I'm about $3,500 in so far on the swap. Most of the cost are cut down by me doing my own work.
@@danmarley2926 nice work. I’m still undecided because the 425 runs so good.

What color gold did you paint the motor? Looks great!
Does it still ride like a Cadillac?
Probably better
How much will all the suspension bits and pieces would cost if put in a package type of deal? Anyone?
Tell us about the Mazda in the driveway.
How much for this sweet ride?
