Today we move on to some cavalry for my Austrian army, starting with the heavy horse the Cuirassiers. Unlike many people I actually quite enjoy painting horses, which is a good job because I've got a lot to paint over the next few weeks...

That’s a lot of horseflesh that you are doing there Matt! I believe that Austrian cuirassiers wore black cuirasses, but I don’t claim to be an expert on Austrians!

I think you're right Dom. I couldn't tell on the Perry box if it was black or dark metallic.

A bit late to the party, I know, but I've just started building a Russian army for Tim's event at Boards and Swords in June. Like you I had a Russian army gathering dust 'under the stairs' and thought this would be a good opportunity (excuse) to get them on the table.
