The mouse app doesn't work with the new firmware. Amazon disable the ADB setting. It should be fixed on the next firmware update. For now if you have a air mouse remote, use that.
Anyone having timeout issues, it might be due to Hikvision limiting viewing times on their servers to ensure reliability of their service , overloading could fail live view connections. Therefore if you want continuous viewing locally and you are using the firestick on the same wifi you can add local machine via + sign at the top of the app on startup. Then select online devices and it should pick up on the local ip address 192.168.?. ?. And add it . Then go back and select it . Ideally you should have static ip set up on the NVR otherwise you might need to follow the process again if your IP address changes.
It worked fine! I can access the cameras, however it has a 5 minute timeout. I already changed the camera quality to basic on the tv, do I need to change the quality on my phone too or on the system settings? Cause I can't manage to make it last longer than 5 min. THANK YOU!

The mouse doesn't work because Fire stick disable it with there latest firmware update. We have to wait for the next firmware update and hope they fix it.

Hi. You can add it by, going to your apps. - look for the Hik-Connect app. - once you find it, press and hold the OK button for 3sec - then you will get the option to move it around. Then move it to the very top.

I have 54 cameras installed; one screen shows 16 & to change the screen, I can't see any option to move to the new set of 16. Not sure if I am missing any trick here? Can you please help?
Question. Do you have a 64 channel or do you have multiple recorders? If you have multiple recorders, go to the top right hand side and click on the camera icon. Then make sure all the cameras you want to see is checked. Now you should get the next page option.

@@JasonTech on first (and subsequent) run of the app. I am just loading the app and on run, it blows out the resolution first, and then shows only totally unreadable on the left side of the screen. Is the fire stick you are setting up on the same network as the cameras? You can also just login to your Hik-Connect account, instead of using the IP address.

If you have the Hik-Connect app, all you need to do is login to the app to see all your accounts (Home / Office). If not, your system is setup a different way.

Hi. You have to change the Resolution from SD to HD. Audio only works on HD. Open the camera that you want to hear the audio. Go to the bottom left hand side, you will see SD change it to HD.

@@JasonTech Thanks for taking the time to respond. I tried all of that. I managed to get it on the f/stick very painfully by using "Firetv app", although the camera now shows on the tv, there is no way of using any app to turn off sound, adjust settings etc.

This will only work on the new Samsung android TV. Go into the play store and download an app called Guarding Vision. Then follow the steps in the video.

Try hitting the 3 dashes on the main page on the top left hand side. This will change the view.

Never mind, the stick was due for an update. All works now, but can't get my images in HD, I guess the stick is too slow/old.
The fire stick can't handle it in HD. Keep it in SD

Make sure you camera system and your Fire TV is on the same network. Not a different Wifi.

Yes, it can be left open like a monitor. The only thing I would do is keep it on basics view, not HD view.

It's not compatible with all models. Only the ones with the latest firmware above 4.0. and only with the NVR not the DVR.

You would have to uninstall v6 to install v4. The v4 won't time out.

I cannot get the mouse to function, it starts OK, but I never get any circle moving around the screen. I am on a 4K max stick with correct mouse app installed. Any ideas?

@@JasonTech Thanks for taking the time to respond. I tried all of that. I managed to get it on the f/stick very painfully by using "Firetv app", although the camera now shows on the tv, there is no way of using any app to turn off sound, adjust settings etc.

It's there, it's the last one on the list. I have both because the new version doesn't work well with the older firesticks.

Yes, It's because of the latest firmware update on the firestick. We have to wait for the next update. There isn't a working mouse app right now.
If you have an air mouse remote, that will works.
How to install hikconnect in smart tv samsung
This will only work on the new Samsung android TV. Go into the play store and download an app called Guarding Vision. Then follow the steps in the video.
