As a a Brit, the treatment of Poland after the war is a shameful part of out history. There is no doubt that without the Polish pilots, the battle of Britain would have been lost. The USA has their shame in the way it treat black troops returning from the war. The way we Britian treat Polish pilots after the way is an utter disgrace.

PLease type less and read more... You may want to start your education on this subject here. Go read about the UK's 1947 Polish Resettlement Act, the act of UK parliament that granted FULL UK citizenship and residency rights to over 250,000 Polish ex-service personnel AND their families, thereby saving them from brutality and death at the hands of YOUR heroic political ideologues, the communists of Poland.
Strange that you don't already know about how we saved their lives because that UK law was enacted by Clement Attlee's LABOUR government.
If you hurry, you;ll be able to catch the next flight to North Korea, you'll LOVE it there with your commie programmers to look after you.

afaik Josef Frantisek as a fighter pilot denied joining a bomber squadron and joined Polish 303 fighter squadron. Our neighbour became an ace because of his guts, balls, bravery and patriotism. Full respect to our Czech friends. In the era of social media and leftwing agenda, we're doomed. As George Hopf said "Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And weak men create hard times" (I had to use wikipedia to find it). We're living through the last part of what he had said.

Hello Prince! Dywizjon 303 to tylko fragment. Polacy mieli też Dywizjony 302, 306, 307, 308, 309, 315, 316, 317, 318, 663 i Dywizjony bombowe - 300, 301, 304, 305. Latali do końca wojny w bitwach nad Europą, Afryką Północną, Atlantykiem. Mając 15 pilotów i 10 samolotów zestrzelili 28 samolotów, 9 uszkodzili. Bez strat własnych. Pozdrawiam! :)

@@kulfonidaskutamino8121 So what? Do you believe wars are paid for by charity and cost nothing? Do you stupidly expect OTHER PEOPLE (i.e the UK taxpayer) to pay for the Polish part of the war effort to topple the murderous nazi regime and remove its evil from POLISH SOIL?
When YOU go out for a night out, do you expect your friends to pay for your food and drinks? I need a new Garden shed, will you pay for it for me?
Seeing as you like "fun facts" here are a few more for you to enjoy....
Poland did not repay ONE PENNY of the £78 million (in 1946 prices) that the British Govt had spent on supplying the Polish forces in the west, the British also GAVE £47½ million to the Polish Govt with which to PAY the salaries of the polish forces in the west, as well as a further £32 million spent by the UK govt on the welfare and education of Poles who had been given refugee status in Britain during WW2, of which the Polish postwar govt eventually repaid £13 million back. So for a total outlay of £157½ MILLION by the British taxpayers the Polish government postwar repaid just £13 million over 15 years.
For its own part, Britain had by 1942 handed ALL 1,400 TONS of its OWN pre-war gold reserve over to the US government to pay for the arms and equipment it was using to continue the fight against the conquerors of YOUR country. Once all that gold had been spent, we then handed over ALL of our own cutting edge British scientific research to the US as well as global basing rights on empire territory to the US armed forces, and then when all that had been accounted for, we ran the British part of the war effort and indeed our whole UK economy on US Loans. Not "GIFTS"... but "LOANS" that needed repaying. We only finished repaying the tens of BILLIONS of pounds worth of debt to the US in 2006.
As a result of this unforeseen ruinous expenditure we could no longer afford to maintain our own empire, which hastened the collapse of both the British Empire & the entire UK economy after WW2. By the end of WW2 Great Britain had been transformed from the world's richest nation in 1900 to the world's largest debtor in 1945.
What you also will have utterly no awareness of is that the majority of Polish war debt was written off by the UK as it was clear that there was no way that the postwar Polish communist regime were ever going to pay the rest of it back.
And then clueless commenters like yourself complain about having to pay a pittance for YOUR part in freeing YOUR country from nazi death camps & tyranny.
You should have let us know in 1939 that you were going to beat the nazis alone, then we could have left you to it, and saved ourselves all our OWN gold reserve, 460,000 British lives and our empire.
Now please go and burn the communist schoolbooks your country was forced to "learn" from between 1945 and 1990.

The Brits were underestimating Polish soldiers, because of British "Imperial pride". Every empire in the world sooner or later has this illness ;) We have a saying: "Sztywny angol" ("stiff Brit").
The absolute worst is the betrayal in Yalta. It caused any patriot soldier, or just an ordinary citizen, to be hunted by communist police; usually also tortured before getting judged by the "sąd kapturowy" (the "hood court" is a court that operates in secret and tries defendants without the right to defend themselves.), persecuted and murdered by an order of a communist judge... Exactly as the soldier in the movie said: "When U were not a communist, there was no future for U in Poland".

The language barrier was a major issue. The British air defence system (the most advanced in the world) was based on radar detection and radio guidance. The defence system could not afford to have a squadron loitering in the sky that did not know where to fly. This was dangerous not only for that squadron, but for the whole system. Putting the British at the head of the squadron didn't solve the problem, because he had to tell the Poles what to do. Our pilots were frustrated, but it was an absolute necessity, often downplayed.

Your English is very hard to understand, because you have a very heavy African accent. I almost understood nothing what you said in the whole reaction video.
Even worse: When you are saying something DURING original video is still running, you are completely not to understand anymore...AND you are missing important details of that original video, because you are not stopping that video to say something.
Further I had the strong impression, that you didn't understand half of the time, what was said in the original video.
Sorry, I'm not posting this to berate you, but that kind of reaction makes almost no sense.
    PS:
It doesn't help the quality of a reaction, when you are saying several times "Wow!"...when there is nothing spectacular, special or insightful happening, to formulate it politely. Leaving the room several times without editing the video afterwords isn't cool either.

I would like to hear what your accent sounds like... What counts is willingness, as a Polish woman I appreciate that anyone wants to watch such programs on such topics and is able to focus on such material for almost two hours. Whatever he understood and how much - you're not in his head, you don't know it. Maybe he could have tried to make more verbal comments, but for me what matters is facial expressions and eyes that show emotions. He may not be able to put what he feels into the words you want to hear - but what matters is that someone cares about trying to approach this and he is interested in this topic.
      Greetings from Poland

"would like to hear what your accent sounds like..."
It's a German accent. You surly would love it...
Apart from that: I'm not reacting in front of a screen where the people have to understand, what I'm saying.
      "What counts is willingness"
No. In a video on UA-cam where you are saying something, especially when you are commenting a history video, one has to understand, what you are saying.
      That is not possible here.
You said, that mainly (if not only) the factial expressions are mattering in a reaction video. That in itself is so very "basic" that I don't know what to reply to it, without involuntary offending you.
      Only that much:
Well, I guess I've found one of the people (YOU!) that are responsible for the sad fact, that almost all reaction videos have now thumbnails where the reactors are making those ultra-annoying "Wow-Faces".

He speaks very good English. You just don't know English and you don't understand it.
He reacted well. If you want to watch a documentary, watch it alone.
