As someone is an OSHC educator, I started the clap response and have to repeat it so kids can transition to group time and now we use it all the time at the service. Most of the time I have to repeat it at least once.
Absolutely. Though the biggest difference would be less piss and more vaping. And the endless arguing with students about why they haven’t submitted their drafts. Plus the fact that the seniors and the teachers share something in common - existential dread 😂.
Eerily accurate! I’ve been retired for 3 years and you managed to capture my 30 year teaching career in one minute 😂. Apparently I teach in my sleep: “Now, I’d like two lines!”
Agreed as well as compulsory online training requirements, unit planning, assessment writing and new staff on teams. Not only that but using several different work apps to communicate is ridiculous
@@chantellenutes5435 yeah I’ve got three classes to mark this weekend one is drafting. I’ve had covers everyday this week because of camp and soon have not done any admin, planning or even lunch breaks. QLD doe only pays teachers five hours a day.
Nailed it. As a retired principal, totally agree with all of it, even the bit about the principal and country. I felt like Russia when dealing with some of my staff, parents and students.
I'm a student teacher (🇿🇦) currently out at a school doing my practicals and they showed this video in the staff meeting yesterday morning. Didn't stop laughing for a second and everything was true 😂
This video is amazing 😂 Jimmy I love you're videos and I watched Jimmy giggle as a kid! You are such an amazing person and I'm so glad I'm this early 😂 Also, if you see this again, I loved the canberra test video - as someone from Canberra - and tysm for liking my comment
lol love it, our teachers were the best. Teachers can complain to the government by striking. Also don't know how you could hold your laugh there Jimmy.
I'm too old to have experienced the claps as a student but I have been present when the kids have done it. This is yet another video that is absolutely on point.
@jimmy Reese I used to watch giggle and hoot everyday growing up and I had the hoot toy. I used to say that I was going to go in giggle and hoot then im older just like jimmy giggle.
Once you start secondary teaching in high school the students will test your patience as I have heard from a friend of mine who works in a high school.🧐
The fact that as a teacher I can only travel during the most expensive and crowded times grinds my gears every year. It is definitely not something I thought about when choosing a career.
The last 5 seconds are the most relatable part of this video. Unexpected yard duty and "Urgh! Don't do that!"
This guys is amazing! He deserves an award! If u agree
👇
How do you get the governments attention?
“You can’t “
It's been over a decade since I was a student and I still feel the urge to repeat the claps. Thanks teachers for pavloving me lmao
Hahah - we didn't have it and I still feel the need to respond. . . .and I'm not a teacher, but I know about this thing.
As someone is an OSHC educator, I started the clap response and have to repeat it so kids can transition to group time and now we use it all the time at the service. Most of the time I have to repeat it at least once.
We would never do that....
Now ONE TWO THREE! ALL EYES......
Hey that rings a bell
So so true! There’s a reason I left the profession…and it wasn’t the kids.
I'd love to see a children's entertainer version.
haha.... this is a good idea, i'll put it on the list
Giggle and hoot?
Hahaha brilliant. Jason can be Hoot.

YAS or how to become a high school teacher

Yes please do high school omg, I would so love to see Jimmy imitate an eshay student
@@piki_starz1287 omg that would be so funny

Please do another one for secondary/high school teachers!
The most underrated profession.
'All of the forks in the staffroom'.
Omg Jimmy, do you live in our cutlery drawer at work? How do you this?!
Eerily accurate! I’ve been retired for 3 years and you managed to capture my 30 year teaching career in one minute 😂. Apparently I teach in my sleep: “Now, I’d like two lines!”
BAHAHAHA "paint, instant coffee and piss"😩fr jimmy
but srsly
Totally nailed the life of a teacher….again, Jimmy. I’ve been retired from teaching for a long time but there are some things never forgotten 😂😂😂😂😂😂
We don’t have an abundance of holidays. This is a fallacy. We just switch to working from home mode.
Unfortunatel, noone outside teaching will believe you.

@@kcc879 and not to mention the full weekend of draft marking I’m about to sit down to (I’m in high school teaching).

So true (retired teacher here). 🤣
Tea spoons, in my staffroom.
LOL! Teaspoons in every staffroom! 🤣🤣
What?! Not beers?
'How do primary teachers stay fit?'
'Dodging annoying parents.'
I see NT 'beers' guy is getting a new job.
When talking about the principle was truly inspiring.
So true. Most expensive time to go on holiday is during school holidays
Jimmy Rees: the vector for empathy...... this genius of a man really does give us a snapshot into other people's lives/plight/world.
You, sir, am about to get your own game show.
You should make the ‘eat pray teach’ mug merch 😂
Absolute classic 😂
Sharing with my teacher friend, well one, she knows more teachers than I do, she’ll share it on lol 📚✏️📍
Has there EVER BEEN a more Fertile Mind than Mr Jimmy?.........asking for a friend :)
"Whats been lost since 1932? All the forks in the staff room". FACTS.🤣
High school vapes, wagging and eshay students would be awesome Jimmy please.

Police Officers have tasers, teachers have THE LOOK! (shudders)
Love the lanyard 😂😂😂
Ohh that 👏🏻clap😬
Thanks Jimmy!
Gold Star video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got a sleeping duck ad with you in it before watching this 😂
Oh....I miss those days 😂😂😂
In my day they didn't use "the look" or claps, it was the blackboard ruler. It WASN"T better in the old days.
lol love it, our teachers were the best.

Awesome. Chatgpt for writing reports for the win.
I just realised he was jimmy giggle from giggle and hoot. you were my whole childhood on ABC kids!

Honestly if you just made all school on line, most people would be s0 much happiier, I may have enjoyed sports
mate i just finished primary and this is sooooo accurate
Friday beers beers beers beers!!! That should have got a run Jimmy✅ Plenty of that in the KPR staff room back in the early 90's🤣👍🍻
@jimmy Reese I used to watch giggle and hoot everyday growing up and I had the hoot toy. I used to say that I was going to go in giggle and hoot then im older just like jimmy giggle.
Almost too accurate to be funny (but I giggled anyway).
All too true!😂
Great laughs btw

Hey, there are no mistakes there. Even AutoCorrect would say so.
Glad I’m studying Masters in Secondary Teaching

Don't worry that test will be up on UA-cam soon Hahahah

A Masters?
There is not enough alcohol in the world that would see me teach kids. I take my hat off to those who do.
do a video about teacher aides 😂
i would say the answer to the 100th grazed knee is "put a wet paper towel on it"
OMG! I am a tween nearly teen and would love a secret test to becoming a teen!! Be so funnny!
I might have enjoyed school if you were the teacher ⭐️
Yep, the forks just disappear. ✨
