- Ayy man listen.. yall know how i feel about Tracy Cortez but I gotta be real man, these UFC cards the next 3 weeks in July are legitimately unwatchable and I decided to rant about the state of UFC matchmaking due to Dana White, ESPN, Hunter Campbell and UFC 300 using up all the big names like Alex Pereira, Max Holloway, Bo Nickal, Charles Oliveira, Arman Tsarukyan, Bobby Green and more and how I think they are trying to gaslight us into being more excited for UFC 304 Belal Muhammad vs Leon Edwards and UFC 305 Dricus Du Plessis vs Israel Adesanya. Video idea: your favourite fight tier list or the best fights tier list. Would be nice, because as a person who watches UFC only for a year I would like some good fights to watch.

(YAPPING) The UFC ARE doing it on purpose but they aren't doing it to starve us for 304. imo they're doing it because they can and because they almost have to. Since they signed to ESPN, 2 things happened, they got given a fuck ton of money and part of their contract is to do weekly cards, and so what happened is that they got rich and lazy, the UFC already had a monopoly on MMA so the ESPN deal just tightened their grip, allowing them to be lazy. So now what they do is they throw together weekly apex slop where they throw their lowest level fighters/mid unranked fighters on these cards to satisfy their contracts and since ESPN pay them a set amount just to put on a weekly card the UFC don't care about the quality. Also, since 90% of fans don't care about MMA outside the UFC they're either going to tune in to that card or just not watch an MMA event that week, how many people do you think are going to say "hey man UFC sucks this week but LFA are having an event." This is just the sad state of the UFC nowadays and I think them getting lazy is going to cost them down the line.
Ha, I was waiting for this upload. I knew the rant would be off the charts epic after seeing these two lineups. Worst back to back cards in the history of the UFC by a wide margin.

I used to be able to name every fighters last few opponents on fight nights, even prelim fighters. At this point I look at the main event and don’t even know or care who they are. The quality of cards has tanked horribly in the last few years.
Bedtime gamrot vs arman was 2 years ago dawg😭. & so that gives you a deeper perspective of how hard fight nights have fallen off. especially when last year we had luque vs rda as a main event for a fight night.
