I made a mistake on the exam Q: it’s the top one :/ Also, I want to confirm that Flashcards are really effective (I use them myself) but don’t start making them right now, if you have existing ones that’s fine but if you really want to make Flashcards, only make them on the difficult topics so you don’t lose much time for practise
@Nouman Sami, the reason some ppl don’t get the last q is cause this is for GCSE.In Igcse, the q specifies whether it’s a conc. aqueous solution or a dilute aqueous solution or whether it is molten. If if was conc. KI, the ans would be H2 at the cathode and Iodine at the anode, but if the q just stated “aqueous solution” or “dilute aqueous solution” the ans would be H2 and Oxygen as OH- ions get oxidised in preference to other anions .I’m not sure if GCSE has this, but if they do, by the term “solution”, they mean a conc. aq solution of KI.In IGCSE by the same term they are talking about weakly concentrated aqueous solutions.
Haha.In simple terms: some ppl watching this video may be taking their IGCSEs and not GCSEs.The terminologies used in the qns for IGCSE examinations are different from the ones used in GCSEs.
I need advice on getting a grade 7-9 in English lit and if u can some advice on English language too! Icl watched most of ur vids but any extra tip would help me out. Currently at a grade 5
My practice question sheets end up in the bottom of my bag. At the end of each term I find them but in a completely squished form 😂😂I really need to use a folder
I've found ur channel recently and its helpful! Tysm! And how do you study while fasting I find it so hard to stay awake and concentrate on the work lmao😭I need help
Nah first watch videos to understand the topic but try start with questions as early as possible because if you don’t know something you can learn it through doing questions as well
They aren’t bad, I recommend Flashcards but if you are starting to make them now I think it’s a little late but if you already have existing ones yeah do them, but remember practise questions too
U mentioned that we should only focus on the required practicals that are on the advanced info. So does this mean that the practicals not mentioned won't come up at all?
The answer at the end might be wrong with reference to solution implying aqueous to my understanding. Potassium is more reactive than the hydrogen formed when h+ ions are discharged and so hydrogen and iodine would be discharged wouldn’t they because it will probs be more difficult to discharge somet more reactive I swear.
I am still going over the plot again for the 3 english lit books. What do you recommend for the next stage? Learning quotes and context or just go straight to exam questions?
Hydrogen and iodine? since the metal ion is more reactive than hydrogen, hydrogen is produced at cathode and a halide ion is present so iodine is produced at the anode
For chemistry basically everything is still there so you might as well just do the past papers and cross out anything that isn’t coming up and deduct it from the mark at the end
@@NoumanSami thanks and should I do the same for biology and physics because I know a LOT of biology has been removed so is there really a point in doing it
Samiz is a good fandom name :) i spent 2 minutes thinking of it, and seeing that tiktok masterpieces are made within a few seconds and unintentionally, i'd say that the name is a giant covalently bonded, carbon which is covalently bonded to 4 carbon atoms (or maybe graphite idk)- to conclude, its a diamond name
So for example there’s always a 3 marker about why graphite conducts electricity or something like that, or when they ask why the reactivity increases as you go down group 1, or why something has a high melting point, stuff like that
Hi, how would you recommend revising for the GCSE (Bio,Phy,Chem) Practicals? I am currently really struggling on revising for the practicals as i usually create flashcards for my topics but i'm quite unsure what to do for the required practicals. Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)
Hi, I’d say firstly to watch videos on people doing the practicals so you get familiar with the method and I personally then put each practical into a flashcard with the practical on one side and the main steps on the other, those Flashcards took ages for me to actually learn but they really helped. After that just find practical-specific exam questions online, perhaps on PMT or maybe ask your teacher, so you get familiar with answering 6 markers. I was lucky because we were told which practicals would come up so I only had to learn those ones but just remember that whenever you answer a 6 marker on a practical where you have to list the method, include controlled variables and bullet point the practical rather than write a paragraph. Hope that helps!
ik it is option 1 in the cathode hydrogen is produced if the metal is more reactive than it so pottasium is more reactive therefore hydrogen in cathode ik hes capping
@@NoumanSami the answer is the top one then? hydrogen is less reactive than potassium so it is formed at cathode and iodine is a group 7 so its formed at anode
@@NoumanSami Oh yea sorry my bad. Also I’m in yr 10 been revising for my EoYs they start on the 25th April, what do u recommend in terms of effective revision like Idk if I should be like revising everything or just weak areas

literally just write as many essays as possible, and each time improve on the mistakes you made last time, obviously give them to your teacher to mark
Great video! I was wondering if you now any websites online that have higher aqa science exam question per topic?
Save my exams, PMT
My practice question sheets end up in the bottom of my bag. At the end of each term I find them but in a completely squished form 😂😂I really need to use a folder
Yeah a folder helps a lot with keeping it all organised
This is me everytime😂

Yes my teacher sent mark schemes too

Do them simultaneously, I’d say the more important thing is just writing but constantly strengthen your quotation knowledge too
@@NoumanSami ok thank you and for english language I have never revised. How do you revise for that?
I don’t really revise I just do practise papers
Hydrogen and iodine?

for the last exam question is it aqueous solution or just molten because if it's aqueous it should be option 1
